Friendly, inexpensive, fast delivery. The food is just OK, but the service is very good and the people who work here are really nice. The only take cash. I prefer food from other places becqause it is very bland here, but I know what to expect from Empire Wok.
The fried rice is yellow rice with bits of pork, onions, and bean sprouts. Not really fried rice, but true fried rice is really rare it seems.

I found 2 bugs in my food. I didn’t even eat my food and I threw up. Absolutely disgusted.

The sesame chicken plate here is amazing, you can ask them to sub out the pork in the rice for chicken. They also let you grab your own sauce which is here to find. They will make any changes you like and the food is always fresh. All that being said, get the plate I mentioned above with an egg roll and thank me when you do. This place is literally amazing once the food hits your mouth.

They accommodated my substitution without hesitation.
Delivery was surprisingly quick.
Gave me a free soda without even mentioning the coupon. Surprise!
I ordered the sesame chicken. Wish it was crispier. The fried rice is the yellow wannabe fried rice. Meh
Sweet and sour chicken was so Aweesommmeeee! They vented the lid of the to go container so it stayed really really crispy. Wish i got the large and ditched the sesame chicken.
Steamed dumplings were steamed dumplings. They were good!
My bill was $ 20. Can’t beat it.
Menu says no MSG.

So 5 stars for a delivery Chinese food place may seem strange, but for what you are getting, this place is great. If you are looking for quality take-​out/​delivery Chinese food, you got to give them a try. I used to order from Jani all the time until they closed and I’m annoyed at myself for wasting my money and time.
The delivery for feeding 3 very hungry people who know how to eat was extremely prompt, the food was hot and tasty. After eating it I didn’t get overly thirsty (not too salty) or feel gross (not greasy/​gummy). This is my new go-​to place, great food.

PROS:
— Free delivery with min. $ 8 only! Great deal there imo.
— Prices are reasonable.
— Food tastes as it should.
— Delivered around same time as stated on phone when ordering. First time I ordered, the woman who took the order was average in tone & manner (i.e., not rude like some other Chinese/​Asian places can be). Second time, another woman answered the phone and was really upbeat & nice. Her English was very good, so ordering was relatively painless.
— There’s not much that sets this place apart from others except the low min. price of delivery & the customer service.
SUMMARY: I recommend this place to anyone living nearby who wants decent/​good Chinese at a good value for the money. I think for the regular dishes that aren’t lunch specials, this place is the best value for the money.
