the food is amazing however do not order from this place its a waste of money they take over 2 hours and once you get the food its cold when i called and told them they had the wrong order and the food was cold they said okay well next time we will give you a free dessert i told them no i rather someone bring me my food that i payd for and then they hung up i called again ask for a manager they said there was no manager available to leave my number but they never called me they had no problem charging my card but woul not give me the food i payed for then i order food to go on a different ocassion onse i got home i realise there was no sour cream but i got charge for sour cream when i called them and told them they saif if you want it we can have someone come drop it off but it will take a hour i told them to just give me my money back for the sour cream they said they nedded a manager and that there was no manager available and someone will call me no one ever call me its sad because the food is preety good but the service is horrible

My family used to have a Mexican restaurant and I gotta say, this place is LEGIT! Delivery is fast, food is quite tasty! Make sure to remind them to include your sour cream!

The food here is good and I’ve never had a problem with the service at the restaurant.
However, have had problems with delivery — confusion over credit card payments, things missing from orders and the delivery driver having to go back, and a dessert that was supposed to be served at room temperature almost frozen solid.
I would recommend dining there in person but delivery is hit or miss.

By far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had ! They make a very delicious seafood soup must try ! I also had the chicken quesadilla which taste amazing. Their drinks are on point !

We love to go to this restaurant because it’s always fresh and authentic. Great way to introduce children to Mexican. Not spicy and they love to watch the guacamole made table side.

Honestly I have been ordering from here for a few years the food is decent. I’m giving it one star because almost EVERY SINGLE time I have ordered they ALWAYS forget something or switch around the order.
For instance I always ask for extra green sauce and I have never once got it.
I asked for a chicken taco salad with no cheese and jalapeños and a steak taco salad with jalapeños. I got a chicken taco salad with extra cheese and no jalapeños and a steak taco salad with no cheese and jalapeños.
This will be the very last time I order.

I’ve been a customer for a few years now and I have never ever had bad service at this restaurant. Staff is always extremely accommodating and friendly. A GREAT atmosphere and amazing food. Every. Single. Time.

Never order from this place. A month ago we had an issue with delivery. 2 times we forgave the delivery being well over an hour late, without apology because the food was great.
We thought we might try one more time by placing an order for pick up. It wasn’t ready 15 minutes after we were told to pick it and we received no apology. After another 15 minutes we gave up. I’m so over this place now. I hope the owner knows how terrible the customer service is. This went from my favorite place to eat to I’ll NEVER go back.
The rest of our delivery nightmare was our order took almost 2 hours. I was put on hold until I hung up and called back and they said it was being sent out with something extra to make up for the delay… this was 1 hour and 15min in. The order arrived nearly 40min later and nothing extra and trays not even marked to distinguish one from the other. It was also burned.
This place used to care about the customers and quality service, now I’m not sure they care about anything. They have absolutely lost us as customers now!

The chips and salsa were pretty good, however the food was just okay, Very little flavor or spice.

My absolute favorite Mexican Resturant! Service is great, food is so fresh and great quality– the fresh guacamole is amazing, and they make it right in front of you. Little Mex is such a hidden gem of the area. I’ve been coming here for 10 years, and always highly recommend it to everyone!

I had dinner here again a little less than 2 weeks ago. Food was still delicious, service was fast for a Friday night. What really turned me off was the fact that I was charged more for my meals than the prices stated on the menu. I understand prices increase at places of business due to several different factors. But, come on update your menu to reflect the new prices! This is the second time this has happened to me while dining here, the first time I brought it up to my waiter he had my bill fixed after speaking to his manager. My most recent visit I didn’t even bother bringing it up, because it should have been corrected the first time I brought it to the staff’s attention. I like the food here a lot but this is just annoying and deceitful.

My fav Mexican place! The chimichanga with beans and rice is my go to but everything on the menu is delicious. Well seasoned.
It’s not 5 stars because delivery takes a decade but truly a gem in this area.

For those saying this is authentic, you’re loco.
This is the worst Mexican food I’ve had in the area. It’s flavorless. The steak was cold and lacked any spice. I find it shocking this place gets solid reviews.
My GF is Mexican and from California. She is used to authentic Mexican cuisine and after reading Unilocal reviews, was excited to try this place. She was just as disappointed as I was.
To make things worse, we waited about an hour for our food. I thought we were on an episode of Punk’d it was taking so long. Another table was getting frustrated with the lack of service. We were mesmerized by them, their suffering was the highlight of our meal. Watching them interact with the incompetent and lazy waitress was quite funny. She thought it was a good idea to hang out in the kitchen the entire meal and not attend to her customers.
Sometimes I feel like New Yorkers wouldn’t know good Mexican food if it hit them in the face.

Thank you for being open until 12 AM! I love this because it is so hard to get good food on my campus past 9. College students get hungry any time of the hour! So I thank you Little Mexican Café from the bottom of my studious heart. You just made my studying night a whole lot better!

I brought a friend here to on a search for our new fav Mexican place. The same night happened to be a sporting event and it was packed, happily we were seated asap. The waiter was very nice, as was all the staff. *Note to non Spanish speakers, my friend only speaks English you’ll have no difficulty here as all the staff we came across were very well spoken. Don’t be shy to ask any questions about the food!
The chips, guacamole, hot sauce were very good. I decided to order two sample platters. Five kinds of tacos which the standout was the beef, omg what a complex but subtle flavor. The Mole was our least favorite, but I found it to be an authentic typical flavor. Nachos plate was very yummy. The highlight of everything was the ceviche, we left not one bite uneaten. I commend The Little Mexican Café on the delicious balance of acidity and season, leche de tigre ! We were never rushed off our table, although we did order more drinks & shots.
The restaurant itself is a humble neighborhood place. There is a typical style of decorating and the noise level on the weekends can be loud. Perfect for a good meal and a fun night. There were insignificant flaws that I can easily overlook like a torn tablecloth, and the positioning of two tables put together at what seemed to be the middle of the dining area. Most importantly we had a great time. There are always staff checking if you need anything and we were very comfortable. Hopefully I can make it back and save room for the fried ice cream.

Besides the great service here, I don’t know what all of the hype is about. The food had a good presentation, but I wasn’t impress at all. The veggie burrito only had carrots and too many stalks of broccoli. The chips were greasy, but the guacamole was good enough to eat with a spoon.
The avocado salad was really good, but would’ve been better without the chunks of onions.
However, their drinks are worth every penny. I ordered a piña colada with rum and other heavenly stuff, and it was the best piña colada I’ve ever had. My friend had the white sangria and it was really good.
I just wouldn’t come here for the food. Ever.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in new Rochelle. The guacamole and home made chips is amazing here. None of the premade non sense you’ll get else where, it’s made table side here.
I tend to learn towards the fried fish entrée and my wife loves their steak entrée. I have had the fajitas before and though they are great, I tend to lean towards the dishes that you don’t typically get elsewhere.
