Placed an order for delivery on grubhub that said the order would take over an hour to arrive… It ended up taking only about 25 minutes! Plus, my [complicated] order was totally right and tasted great!

I love this place! The only pizza spot I order from. Great customer service. Always friendly when I call, food is great! The Best Pasta FAGIOLI and delivery is prompt and accurate every time. I order from here so much they know my voice lol

The pizza was pretty good. Not as bad as a chain restaurant but NY has better options that are more authentic and better quality. We had an issue with a messed up delivery and a moody delivery boy, but I’m sure that’s not the usual case.

I order from here all the time. The Chicken Vodka Pizza is excellent and I love the Baked Ziti Siciliana.

Hotel staff highly recommended Metro. Ordered delivery, very easy online. Food arrived promptly and hot! Pizza was delicious & also enjoyed the Greek chicken salad. Had plenty of leftovers for lunch. Definitely try this place!

Came in for a very quick slice of pizza, and got more than just that. Got the awesomest pizza guy I could probably ever meet who called me a taxi on his phone when I asked him if I could simply hail one on the street. He offered to bag up my food so I could take it with me and was just over all one of those friendly New Yorkers who may seem rough around the edges, but who have big hearts and are probably very good to their mothers, haha. Very tasty and cheap pizza, will maybe try the pasta next time!

This place is delicious, the staff is super friendly and professional, and the garlic knots are the best I’ve ever had. My coworkers and I tend to order from Metro often, as they’re the closest and most affordable option we’ve found. However, affordable and close doesn’t always translate into good food, whereas with this place the food is delicious. The lunch specials include an entrée, a drink and amazing garlic knots, which is a great deal. Whether you order delivery, pick up, or dine in, the food is fresh and prepared in a timely manner. The staff are always outgoing and engaging, and they’ll even remember what your typical order is after you’ve called in several times.
I’m always happy to find and support local establishments, and this place is worth checking out. You won’t be disappointed with the food, the prices or the service. The only disappointment I’ve had is that the order never seems to come with enough garlic knots (lol they come with three nice sized morsels of goodness, I’m just greedy)! Seriously, try them once and you’ll definitely return for more.

The food is great. The restaurant itself is a little unassuming and is easy to ignore but you’ll be glad you walked in. The garlic knots are fantastic, as are the sausage parmagiana rolls. The highlight of my meal there was definitely the tiramisu!

After trying the pizza at a few local competitors, I had lost all hope in Pizza in New Rochelle. Then I got adventurous and tried this place out. This is the best pizza in downtown new Rochelle. For 2.50 you get a wonderful slice. The dough is crispy but soft on the inside. The sauce has the right amount of tang and the cheese is higher quality than average. My favorite slice here by far the margherita. It’s a bit more expensive than I think it should be, but it beats taking a trip back to queens.
Delivery times are also great here.

This place is a bite of heaven! The staff is extremely nice and they’ll even do delivery orders till 9:59pm and they close at 10… Lol. They go out of their way to make the most excellent food with love. My #1 spot in New ROC! Delicious soups, perfect parmigiana dinners, and the Prosciutto-​mozzarella-​eggplant wrap is to die for.

On a business trip to New Rochelle, my co-​worker and I grabbed a quick bite. It’s a small pizzaria that has a few tables inside. The service and food hit the spot.

Whyyyyyy didn’t I try Metro sooner?!
I was hungry for some Italian food for lunch today and took a walk down the street to find an alluring lunch special: Your choice of wrap or sandwich for $ 6.99 plus can of soda AND garlic knots. Yes, AND. You get COMPLIMENTARY GARLIC KNOTS with the lunch special! What miracle of culinary goodness is this?!
I walked inside and was greeted with a warm and friendly hello. The man at the counter gave me all the time I needed to choose my order (I am mega indecisive) and took it when I was ready. I waited about five minutes for my grilled chicken wrap to be made. When I got the chance to eat it, I was pleased with the tender chicken and pesto (yes, pesto, not salad dressing like another New Rochelle deli). I especially loved the garlic knots: just the right amount of greasy goodness.
But what really stands out about Metro is the atmosphere. It’s a small joint but it’s clean and well-​lit. Everyone knows each other and little touches make the experience worthwhile, even just a single smile from the owner. I had a pretty bummy day today but the staff at Metro was quite possibly the one shiny spot. And I usually don’t particularly care about my service.
Five stars for turning my frown upside down.
