Just ate here for the second time. In the food is amazing. We tried four different entrees for our rehearsal dinner and they were all excellent. The staff is attentive, professional and friendly. We love this place.

Time and time again this place gets it right. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Not sure why there would be anything negative to say — they aim to please and do a darn good job of it.

This restaurant is all over the map in terms of quality. I think they can help themselves tremendously by limiting their menu. My ravioli were cooked well, and the sauce was okay, but the grated cheese they used is similar to that found in plastic containers in the supermarket. The taste of the cheese ruined the dish for me. When you’re charging Manhattan prices, the only cheese that should be used is Parmigiano Reggiano, freshly grated on your plate. When the bill is over $ 200 for a family of 5, when NO alcohol was consumed and 4 out of 5 entrees were pasta; the quality should be excellent; not simply«decent.» I will say the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, but frankly I would prefer mediocre service and great food. If they limited their menu to a few pastas, salads and brick oven pizzas, they would be packed with local families.

We were compelled to try this place out based on the high 4.5 aggregate rating. Once again, Unilocal has let us down. It was just ok, not bad, but nothing spectacular. Even if you lower your expectations to Westchester standards, this place is not worthy of the detour. Especially if you’ve been exposed to great places like The Cookery. Burrata, Fortina, Finalmente, Spadaro… This place reminds me of the Italian restaurants in my old neighborhood of Morris Park. If you’re looking for something off the charts, you’d be better off skipping this place. If you just want to grab something and you’re in a pinch or can’t get reservations anywhere else on a Friday night, then I guess it would suffice.

Just had dinner there for second time and it was just as good as first. First time around veal with prosciutto and fra diavolo entrees were heavenly we used bread to sop up chef specialty sauce as licking the plate is still not sociably acceptable. Ordered specials sea bass and halibut and both delightful. Drinks superb. Staff very friendly. Spacious comfortable seating arrangements. Desserts rich and fancy. Will return and buy gift certificates!

I’m from long island and was not familiar with the area. I used Unilocal to find a reputable Italian restaurant and I decided on this one with a friend. I had a chicken dish stuffed with cheese with mushrooms, mash and string beans and it was out of this world. My friend had the salmon and it was so picture perfect and really delicious. The staff was very nice and accommodating. My only concern would be upon walking in, there seemed to be confusion on who the host was and where to wait. However, Don’t let that keep you from this delicious Italian restaurant. 5 stars as far as I’m concerned! Well done!

I came here as their sister restaurant, La Fontanella in Pelham, is closed for renovations and I was hoping Siena had the same level of food and service. The service was gracious, and every bit as good as La Fontanella, but I found the food just okay. We had the cheese ravioli, pasta with broccoli rabe, and the seafood pasta. I believe their pasta is made in-house. The dining room seemed a bit dated to me and the night that we dined, there was only one other table seated.

I usually wait to review a place until I’ve been a few times but seeing as this is a new establishment I felt obligated to let others know about it: I went here the other night with my parents to celebrate and I couldn’t be happier with the food, drinks, & service. The wait staff was prompt, non-overbearing, friendly, and personable. Drinks: They do wine by the glass which my mother said was very good. We(as a table) ordered a 2006 Cabernet from Hawk Creek which was a very smooth and tasty bottle which was well priced. I went for a makers mark on the rocks and they served it in a highball glass… I was definitely a bit toasty after just one. Bread: Nothing to write home about but I believe they bake it fresh on premise. I was surprised for a Tuscan place that they provided butter instead of olive-oil as a condiment. Food: Joseph D. said it best: «The food is sinfully delicious.» I ordered the lightly fried rock shrimp appetizer special which honestly caught me off guard, I really didn’t expect the food to be so good.(which is probably the propellant for my review.) I had their Rigatoni Sienna, their signature pesto based chicken pasta dish. This is what single-handedly sold me on the restaurant after one bite. I’ve had countless Italian dishes and this ranks as one of the best I’ve ever had… Note I’m a big guy and training for some runs this summer and there was enough food for me to bring home. My girlfriend was able to use the left overs for lunch the following day and she said(even reheated) that the pasta was«really really good.»(Mind you it was reheated in a microwave.) Desert: This is where I am inexperienced. I rarely get Tiramisu so I have no basis to compare it to others. All I can say is that their Tiramisu is homemade and I was not disappointed. This, with cappuccino on the side, was really the perfect way to finish my meal. Hopefully my pallet doesn’t lead you astray nor overly build your expectations. This place is definitely going to become my go-to fine dining Italian joint in Westchester.
