This place is right next to my building. It’s consistently vey above average and without a doubt the best slice I’ve ever had in NewRo. All of the mozzarella is freshly shaved every day — you can watch them do it! The guys here know who I am as soon as I walk in and are super polite. The chicken parm dinner plate could definitely be better if they breaded their own chicken. It tastes like they just deep fry frozen cutlets. I never order pizza or Italian from anywhere else in the city. Plus they hook you up with fresh dough for $ 3 if you want to make your own pizza

The pizza at Toriano’s is classic New York pizza. The ingredients taste super fresh and not processed. The employee’s are very nice and welcoming. And, I am happy there is outside seating because pizzerias are always so hot inside. I recommend giving it a try!

Wow! Finally, a really great pizza by the slice is in downtown New Rochelle!!! The pizza here is super high quality. Dough is light and fluffy and perfectly crisp, sauce is home made and fresh. The location where they opened was an assembly line of failed pizza places due to bad quality slices. Really, really hope this place makes it! You can tell the people here care about their product!!!
Recommendation:
Vodka Pizza
Ask for pizza with light vodka sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil on thin crust. Best pizza you will ever have!
Artichoke Pizza
Or, ask for pizza with artichoke dip/​Alfredo as sauce, artichoke hearts, and mozzarella on grandma crust.
