I was surprised to even find a bar in the town of New Salem, population maybe 1,000. They have a new style juke box, pool table and space for 60ish people. The ladies working NYE 2013 were nice. Good enough for a small town, dive bar. Don’t forget your cash, they don’t take cards. Good thing there’s an ATM. :) Drinks are cheap and they have a great selection of liquors.
