Cute old motel run über professionally by a very nice couple in a great location. You dont want to stay by the honkey tonk of the beach strip. Great access to the water and the old part of town and the beach. When we arrived we were directed to restaurants and kayak/​bike rentals that were perfect. Rooms are beautiful with galley type kitchens. Nice courtyard with grill and picnic tables and fountain. Also pet friendly which is huge for a lot of folks. Laundry is also available. Check out their reviews on trip advisor which back up everything I’m saying here. Well worth it.

Bow Wow this is the only hotel in New Smyrna Beach that accepts dogs! We were a bit stuck for a couple days and needed a place to stay, someone at the Holiday Inn told me about this place and boy am I grateful! A really cute little place that abuts a nice little park along the inter coastal. Clean and charming with a real homey feel. This is no 5 star but the 5 stars won’t take your dog. The owners are very friendly and full of tips for exploring the area. Try it but book early in season, its very small and fills up fast.
