Great little coffee and ice cream shop. Decent prices compared to others of same caliber. Had blueberry pie for breakfast! Delicious! Uncle had a apple pie and loved it too. Good service!

Best coffee house on the East Coast! And a short walk from the IntraCoastal Waterway so super convenient for boaters like us(arriving by sea). This place has everything going for it: great coffee, pastries, and ice cream; friendly wait staff who greet everyone with a warm welcome and smile; personalized service to your table after ordering; strong wifi; social zone for when you want to meet people; quiet zone when you want to get work done; comfy tables and chairs; good interior design(I’m an interior designer, and I care about that!); natural light; good background music; cute town just outside the door; and the feeling that customers are welcomed to stay all day. Another really important feature: I felt safe leaving my laptop and stuff to use the restroom. Can’t say enough good things about this coffee shop. I’ve been here comfortably for 4 hours and am in no hurry to leave.

This was a nice visit to a side of New Smyrna I have never seen. It is actually located in an area of the«downtown» which is frozen in time from the 1950 – 60’s. The buildings are almost all old in architecture. The streets are lazy and slow with traffic. The Canal Creamery staff was friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in. We sampled the variety of ice cream and were served quickly with our choices. The sizes and price were fair. The flavor was good and I believe Hersey Ice Cream. They had other items for sale such as danishes, cupcakes, etc from a bakery. There was coffee and cappuccino. Small tables and seats surrounded the walls and with the doors all open the cool weather was pleasant. Definitely would go back if I happened to be in the area.

Amazing rum cake!!! The gourmet baked goods are all homemade by the owner(who is sweet and personable). We ordered iced mochas with sugar free white chocolate syrup and they were delicious. The menu has so many unique drink options. Wonderful servers with tons of personality. Go! Go now this place is fun and wonderful! Great atmosphere!

Donna recently purchased Canal Creamery. Very sweet woman has always treated me very nice everytime I have visited. The atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. Delicious organic coffee available. Over 32 flavors of Hershey ice cream to choose from. This is my favorite place to meet with new clients and conduct business.

Amazing little place. They serve your garden variety coffee stuffs on one side and ice cream, shakes, etc on the other. During our week in NSB, my wife wanted to stop by every single day. Great ambience and the staff were just as awesome. A NSB must.

Excellent iced lattes and pastries, reasonably priced on a neat little drag. Stopped in while my wife and sister wanted to check out an antique shop a couple stores down from the shop. The décor is warm and welcoming.

Quick review; Atmosphere: warm and welcoming– little tables and couches for customers to relax Food: creamy and soft ice cream with real bits of the flavor inside! Customer service: best I’ve(honestly) ever had Terrific ice cream with terrific customer service. I came in to buy a bunch of ice cream for my family plus friends. The total was less than what I expected but what really made my day was the shop owner; Sheila’s– hospitality. After hearing that I’d be walking back to the pier with all of the ice cream she insisted on giving me a ride back to the beach. I’ve never had anyone do that for me. She gave me a quick back story on her shop and I wish her the best for her future endeavors. As for the ice cream and the shop; the ice cream was amazing. There was gluten free ice cream for all of those who needed it, and had at least 15 flavors to choose from. All of the ice cream that I bought was delicious. Red velvet was one of my favorites, real pieces of cake inside of the cake. Same with toffee, pistachio, raspberry, etc. :] Cute little shop that I would love to sit down with a nice book and hang out for some time.(Books are provided if you don’t have any either!) I would most definitely visit this shop as often as I could, but since I live across the country that would be a problem. But please make sure to visit, you’ll be glad you did :]

I moved to the area recently and was having trouble finding a good coffee shop… until I happened upon Canal Creamery. I actually visited first for the ice cream(and the frozen yogurt with honey and cinnamon is life changing). But now I’m a regular for the coffee. The place has a great vibe, cool décor, and excellent location amid the shops of historic Canal Street.

Wifi, ocean breeze, amazing staff, good coffee and great prices. Came in on a Sunday, mid afternoon and ordered a large iced coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. Total was under $ 5, which is a nice change from the usual chain prices. Very comfy and laid back. I highly recommend this cute corner café!

This is a cutesie little place. I love the décor and the chairs are super comfy. The prices are pretty standard, but the woman working was superb. She was very kind and smiley. The owner, who was just as kind and outgoing, stopped in halfway through my chai and struck up a nice conversation. I love little local places like this. PS — the great wifi signal made it really easy for me to get some work done in there.

Canal Creamery is a fresh, new, modern, yet old-fashion super wonderful spot on Canal Street in beautiful downtown New Smyrna Beach. Serving every kind of coffee delight possible and many marvelous favors of dipped ice-cream, and some frozen yogurt, who wouldn’t enjoy some time spent here every visit to New Smyrna Beach! Giant muffins and tasty bagles are tempting treats as well. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, making the visit fun and enjoyable all the way around. To sum it up, all I gotta say is GOGOGO to Canal Creamery.
