We had a reservation for two and were sat at the top of the stairs in the middle of traffic. Very uncomfortable! We both had a cup of the soup of the day a crab bisque that tasted like crab, but no crab meat at all. I ordered the sea-bass and it was raw and cold inside and the sauce was watered down and tasteless. Super disappointed as this is usually a great place with great food.

We were delighted to find an excellent seafood restaurant within walking distance of our condo. Attentive and informed wait staff, half price wine for happy hour, and reasonably priced fantastic food — we enjoyed a very fresh Caesar salad, generous scallops on polenta cakes, and seared ahi tuna on coconut rice with mango salsa.

Why this place only has 4 stars is perplexing. The atmosphere is very nice, not super classy but not casual. Our waiter was very attentive but not annoying. Now on to the food, lobster bisque was creamy and delicious, seared sea scallops whet cooked to perfection on top of their polenta beds(I highly recommend!!) the filet had great flavor and was tender, and the flat bread was simple but delicious. We made room and tried two of their desserts, salted caramel cheesecake(creamy and delicious) and the bread pudding with a scotch sauce equally delicious. So, I HIGHLY recommend it checking this place out on a date night or something a little more along the fine dining experience.

Best restaurant in the area. Food and service are always on point. I love the polenta cakes with everything. From the fish to the scallops to the steak and lamb, everything is prepared perfectly. When wanting a smaller meal, the Central Valley or chalk hill flatbreads are my go to. Staff is fantastic.

Had the house Merlot with the Russian river flatbread. Fantastic. Ruth was lovely. It was an earlier dinner, the place was pleasantly full and quiet. Rest of the family had the Knights valley flatbread and the Oakville. All very different and all very good.

I can’t get past the Farm Chicken. It is excellent. I reviewed a long time ago and the service has improved so much. Their bar tenders are awesome! That was the issue in our earlier visit. We go there all the time and there are so many things to choose from, and all have been a good choice. Nice wine selection, good happy hour. Great flat breads(and I don’t normally care for them too much.) Good sliders, Chicken Pesto Sandwich. Try it! It is a nice beach side restaurant!

Six of us tried this place last night, the food was excellent, I had the Ahi tuna over polenta. Excellent, I have never had polenta like that. You have to try it. Everyone else in my party had fish and scallops and pork chops. They all raved about the food. Our waiter was Thomas and he was excellent and attentive throughout our meal. This is one of our favorite local restaurants for a lot is reasons but we have hesitated to come here at times due to the service but we decided to come back because they can be very creative with their menu. Tonight the restaurant was mostly filled as expected but we were able to get a table immediately and I must say this was one of our best experiences here, we were greeted by the hostess and then again by a server who took our drink order and made us aware that Ruth would be our server. Our drinks arrive after only a few minutes and both were perfect, Ruth arrived and went over the nightly specials and took out dinner order after making sure we were happy with the quality of our cocktails. I don’t think the service could have been any better very attentive, professional, and perfectly timed stops ensuring everything was great. Cocktails — I always order the same Dirty Martini and it’s always perfect! House Chopped Salad — We both chose this with our entrée it also can be ordered as a meal this version was perfectly portioned and is always a great choice — fresh, filled with an array of different ingredients that all comes together, it’s lightly dressed it’s so lite I can certainly see how the larger version could stand on its own as a entrée. Seafood Extravaganza — This was one of the specials tonight, portioned perfectly as was the price I think it was around $ 23. The combination of Cod, Shrimp and Scallops were seared, dressed in a light butter sauce with lump crab meat, the sauce worked well they didn’t drown the dish in sauce allowing the wonderful flavors of the seafood to stand out. Highway«29’s» Famous Pork Chop — This is a quality pork chop perfectly grilled so every bite is full of flavor, extremely tender, very moist. I sometimes hesitate ordering grilled pork chops, I find more often than not restaurants can’t deliver a chop of this caliber, there’s no doubt the chef that prepared this chop understands what it takes I hope he never leaves because I will return for this one.

Tried this place for date night and i must say it was my favorite dining experience of the last few months. What I loved: — The Décor –The prices. We ordered 2 drinks, an appetizer, 2 meals, 2 glasses of wine, and a dessert and the bill was 120 with tip. –Everything is good, literally everything. The bacon wrapped scallops were slightly perfect. The Flank Steak with Onion Jam and Blue Cheese Beurre Blanc had me saying AMEN. The chocolate explosion bunt cake had me dancing in my seat. What could be worked on: –The server was kind of blah. I always appreciate someone with a little flavor and personality. –It’s a beach restaurant so be prepared for crying babies and loud kids. There is nothing you can do it about it, just know that they will be there. I will be back, for sure!

Had a nice experience at SoNapa. The casual atmosphere was accompanied by a nice happy hour they have, 7 days a week from 5 – 7. It’s ½ off selected wine and other drinks. Dinner was delicious. Their calamari appetizer was good and the featured Mahi dish was delicious.

Great customer service and beautiful wood accents. Caesar salad was great! My kids had the burger and meatball flatbread. Definitely go here but you don’t need to dress up. There is a bar, but it’s still good for kids. We will come back, and it was clean. We had a chocolate dessert that was out of this world!!! This is a great place. Come here!

Thank you Roxy for a great anniversary dinner! Bacon wrapped scallop appetizer was great. Real scallops(not the fake ones at the chain restaurants). Our fish sandwich was HUGE and priced very fair. We had the rum drink on Happy Hour Special & it reminded us of our tropical wedding 15 years ago! Try this dessert… pineapple upside down cake with ice cream. I wanted to lick the plate! Service is excellent. These are professionals working here. They consistently do a great job at customer service.

This was our first time dining at So Napa Grille in New Syrmna Beach. We started with the calamari and artichoke appetizer, which was good then ordered the Scallops and lobster tacos. Fantastic ! What truly made our dining experience all that much better was our wait staff! In particular Danielle… very sweet and pleasant along with,(I’m so sorry I forgot the other gentleman’s name!) that was kind enough to answer my question about an item on the menu. Overall it was a lovely enjoyable evening, and fun atmosphere!

After having enjoyed great tacos at Izzys Island Tacos and Ice Cream, I visited this place that is located a few steps away. The name«So Napa Grille» had called my attention. Everything related to this beautiful valley in California sounds interesting. Moreover, the great reviews that it has on Unilocal,was another plus to decide visiting this place. The place is an elegant one, with a nice bar, well decorated for its theme, and offers not the usual food served up in New Smyrna. I did not dine here, I only had a beer named Napa Smith Organic IPA. That was my first organic IPA, and the richest so far. Totally recommended for people who like beer with strong alcohol content and strong beer flavor. This place was a good selection for drinks. Employees always smiled and showed a great attitude.

Nice service and GREAT Happy Hour Specials — ½ off wine until 7pm! We enjoyed a couple delicious glasses of wine which was a highlight though I wish they had some non-split sparkling on the menu. We split the ceviche which was not a highlight. It tasted very much like barbecue which was offputting, I guess I expected a more acidic taste. For my entrée, I ordered the scallops which were excellent and surprisingly filling due to the pollenta cakes. I would get this again. Overall it was a nice experience :)

This is an excellent restaurant that has been around for years and I always drive by. Well I finally tried it, and loved it. If you go at happy hour and sit at bar, they have ½ price glasses of wine and $ 5 appetizer menu. At your table you can get the ½ price glasses of wine. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is extremely loud. They need to install sound dampeners. The menu is creative and every item was full of flavor. We started with the brie topped with fig chutney. It had sliced apples and crackers for dipping in the warm brie. It was $ 12 and a very small piece of brie, but very tasty. I had a house salad which was romaine lettuce, walnuts, tomato, goat cheese and a yummy vinaigrette. My entrée was the Sonoma Chicken for $ 15 and included one side. The chicken was juicy and topped with goat cheese and a lemony sauce. Underneath it was creamed cauliflower! IT didn’t have cheese, but was still rich and creamy. I also ordered a side of black bean corn cakes. They come with two and have a little spicy mexican flavor to them. My mom had the short rib entrée. This was AMAZING! So tender and full of flavor and not too fatty. It was served with warm cherry tomatoes and creamy mashed potatoes. For dessert we had a brownie smores and a pineapple upside down cake. The portions were a good portion for 1 – 2 people. Overall, it was a great experience. You want to make a reservation because this place gets packed. You may want to sit upstairs to see if it is quieter.
