Lots of water on this course. There is also a lot of marshy areas the line the fairways. The price was decent at roughly $ 30 a person(in Dec/Jan). Greens were in decent shape but some could’ve used a trimming. Overall good course for the money.

The course was scenic but in poor condition. On top of it, my son and I were playing as a two-some and at the turn, management let a group of four seniors start their round ahead of us. Would not golf there again, very unprofessional.

If you head for the beach at New Smyrna Beach, the Preserve at Turnbull Bay is a lovely place to get in a round of golf. We found a good game with many locals on the course – it got backed up from time to time but moved well and we finished in about four hours. The golf course is quite scenic with lovely old oaks, hanging Southern moss, plenty of lakes and enough challenge for any golfer. The course was in pretty good condition although the greens were faster than I was used to. Bathrooms were available half way and at the clubhouse. The clubhouse has snacks and friendly helpful staff.

A great golf course for the money. It’s tucked away nicely in the swamp there so it is guaranteed to be a peaceful ‘good walk, spoiled’. I did see an alligator basking in the sun alongside one of the ponds on this course so tread light near the water hazards.
