Service area it is. Meaning you stop, eat crap and self serve gas. The place is cement everywhere, it’s ugly and doesn’t feel like a place you wanna rest.
What happened to trees and benches?

Fairly new rest area in Ohio right over the border from PA. Extremely clean with nice amenities. This place gets the job done for most travel ‘needs’.

This rest stop is very clean, bright, and spacious. It was a pleasure to stop here for a break from driving. All the stops along the turnpike are very clean and provide a needed break. The food choices are pretty good, and there all very clean and well kept.

We’ve stopped at this rest stop a number of times going from Michigan to Virginia. Very clean, bright, and spacious. The best food deal is the 2 hot dogs for $ 3.33 at the gas station outside. Otherwise, you have Panera and Dairy Queen Grill. They have vending machines that accept CCs. Water is $ 2 in the machine but $ 1.40 in the convenience store.
The next rest stop on our route is an hour away, which is just as nice.

Finally re-​opened the rest stop. Major improvements and food offerings. Panera and DQ.

Completely rebuilt from the ground up, they did an excellent job in putting this service plaza back on the map. Standard to all of the Ohio Turnpike Service Plazas, there is ample parking for passenger vehicles, in addition to parking for RVers and expanded parking to help alleviate the big rig parking shortage along the nation’s highways.
They have a nice convenience store inside. Also, Panera and Panera Express are your current food choices. Like the eastbound Service Plaza, this Dairy Queen isn’t quite open yet.
Restroom facilities are patterned after their typical model — you’ve seen one, you’ve seen ‘em all. Trucker’s lounge, laundry and showers are barrier-​free.
Maintained to the highest standards, this facility, like all others along the Ohio Turnpike, is impeccably clean.
