We only had coffee drinks and a cinnamon pull apart, so I cant speak to the food. However the coffee drinks were far too sweet. All we tasted was sugar, no espresso flavor. As for the pull apart, it was tasteless and dry. No cinnamon flavor at all. The cream cheese icing was the only redeeming part. Cute space and maybe we will try the food next time.

We have been here twice WANTING to love this place. Nope. First visit we had a rather absent waitress and ok food. Service was sooooooooo slow. Painfully so with four kids. 45 minutes when it is not busy at all is just too much. We did not feel well afterwards so we got lattes to go. Big mistake. Literally said«What the ****» to myself after taking a drink it was so bad. I tried my husband’s and it wasn’t any better. We threw away of $ 10 worth of drinks and left. Second visit we ended up with the same waitress. Shit. Same super slow service. We let her know we had to leave at a set time prior to ordering due to other obligations and asked for the check right as we ordered too. We were told no problem. That was pointless. 45 minutes later we had no food. We took it to go so we wouldn’t be late, but had no time to eat at that point and were already running behind. We had time to literally eat two bites and had to leave the rest in the car. Not a great option when you have two toddlers. They ended up eating applesauce we packed as a snack instead. Our food was disgusting and soggy when we tried to heat it up later. Most expensive two bites of food ever. Later we both didn’t feel well just like last time and had the most horrific breath from the Rosemary garlic fries. Not coming back. Better employees and some regard for customers would go a long ways. Good luck.

I have an addiction to this place! Anytime I’m in New Ulm, I HAVE to go here to get coffee and lunch. So amazingly good! The pot pie is AMAZING, as is the chicken torta, shrimp po’ boy, pork bahn mi, roast beef po’ boy… you know what, it’s ALL amazing. I’ve never had their breakfast, but that’s because I don’t eat out for breakfast ever. It’s got a coffee shop atmosphere during the day, and at night they class it up a little bit with tablecloths, candles and such for supper. The staff is always very friendly and willing to answer any questions about their food and drinks. Food comes out fairly quickly(if it’s super busy, you’ll have to wait just as long as anywhere else), and they bus tables quickly as well(the ex-server in me notices things like this). Very clean, very relaxed. If you want a break from the usual chains, and you need a great cup of joe, please check out Lola’s. You’ll be glad you did!

This place is a hidden gem. We were camping at a local state park, ventured into New Ulm looking for lunch and a laundromat, both of which were found blocks from each other. The outside of Lola is cute as a bug and the inside is surprisingly HUGE. We were ravenous, and everything on the menu looked amazing. We decided on the Roast Beef Po’ Boy which is described as slow cooked beef with grilled onions, roasted tomato & horseradish cream on baguette and the Chicken Torta which is adobo roast chicken, guacamole, roast tomato, pickled jalapeños, black bean corn salsa & chili-lime crema on ciabatta. The boyfriend got chips with the po’ boy and I upgraded to rosemary fries. The roast beef po’ boy looked sorta wimpy on delivery, but was pack full of flavor. He shared two or three bites of it with me and I was THISCLOSE to ordering another one after finishing my chicken torta. It was banging. My chicken torta was also amazing and I loved every bite of it. Rosemary fries were crispy and delicious and came with a yummy lemon aioli. I want to go back and try all the things, it was just that fabulous!

Great atmosphere in both the inside and patio areas, fresh food, good balance of American and European flavors. They have live music some evenings. One of my favorite places when I come to town for work.

A nice little discovery in a nice little town. On the hunt for coffee while traveling through Minneapolis, Unilocal reviews brought me here. The route we took, there weren’t many choices, so glad that the choice offered was a good one. Great spot, huge footprint for a coffee shop. That said, they are more than that with a tasty looking menu. I only tried the coffee, Americano on day one, drip on day two. Both were very good. Great little lunch menu with sandwiches, salads, pasta and flatbreads. Had I been there for lunch the chicken torta and pork bahn mi both looked like they were worth trying. Nice waitstaff, clean and cozy atmosphere. Worth a stop if in the neighborhood.

Good food. Soup, chefs salad, chicken pot pie, very good. Service and the way the restaurant runs, not so good. It was a good hour before we had a waitress and our food was ordered. Also, the four bratty girls(children) running around and playing in the bathroom was extremely annoying. I know, parents fault, not the restaurant. But maybe someone should have told the parents to watch their brats.
