Blend just doesn’t meet the mark. Rather than trying to do everything they should really do one thing well. Either be a juice and smoothie place, an acai bowl place or a lunch place with salads and wraps. In a business like this I think everything offered should be really healthy. They have dried snacks for sale and drinks in their cooler that are not healthy. They also make their acai bowls with yogurt which in most acai bowl places is not even an option because dairy is pretty commonly accepted in that kind of community as unhealthy. When I asked for mine with coconut milk and told the girl the specific measurement of how much to use since last time I did that it was really soupy she looked very confused and asked if I wanted a smoothie instead. Acai bowls are almost never made with yogurt. That’s the confusing thing. When I received it sure enough it was soupy and warm. Not to mention I ordered a small but was charged for a large. When I brought that to her attention she said«oh sorry,» and still charged me for the large. Very disappointed. After giving them 3 chances but walking away unsatisfied each time I won’t be returning.

WOW. I’ve been trying to find a good place for juices and this is the spot! They have a juice cleanse for 3 days for $ 50! cheapest I’ve seen and its all fresh stuff. Staff was very friendly and knowledgable when I had questions. Going to try that for that price! Highly recommend giving it a try.

I have been on the search for the Hudson Valleys best smoothie bar… this might be it! Luckily it is close to my work so I am able to go frequently. Shout out to whoever runs the social media for Blend Smoothie! I enjoy waking up to see their instagram account post to find out the smoothie of the day. I havn’t tried the salads yet, but the selection is nice and looks fresh! A+!

Just found this gem in Vails Gate. The smoothie and juice choices are nice and broad, and the freshly squeezed wheat grass is becoming a must. I haven’t tried the salad offerings yet as I’m usually there in the morning. What really sets this place apart are the lovely people who work there — so far I’ve only seen young ladies. They are vibrant and helpful, and a really nice way to start the day. I never thought I’d walk past Mama Teresa’s for kale and beets, but I guess you just never know.
