Pine View Farms

Here’s the thing: my visit to Pine View Farms was simply the coolest Christmas tree harvesting experience I’ve ever head. I love this place. You get to play lumberjack, wandering through a dozen large fields of trees of all varieties, shapes, and sizes, handsaw in hand. Finally, when you lay eyes on the perfect specimen for your big ol’ living room or teeny lil apartment, you can fell it with your own hands (or probably have someone help you, the owners and employees are super nice!), and then bring it to the front where it’ll be conveniently packaged up. They’ll even help you strap it to your car. Also, also: all you nature lovers there are ample opportunities for nature viewing, including a beaver family with a big dam in the middle of the farm, not to mention some goats at a little petting zoo near the front. If you can do a half-​day trip from the city it’s SO MUCH MORE FUN than buying a sad lil tree from the corner tree stand. I’m trying to make this an annual adventure, because srsly it’s so much fun.

This place is simply amazing for Christmas trees! We’ve gone to other local tree farms where they have a few dozen trees to choose from but Pine View has a few dozen fields! We were overwhelmed with the trees available for selection but the land is beautiful and worth the trip to walk through the fields with the family.
Trees are priced affordable and worth the experience. Bring cash as it’s cash & carry.

Amazing selection of fresh cut trees and beautiful wreaths. Super friendly family and beautiful location. Well worth the drive if you’re coming from NYC or elsewhere!
