A shop that makes jewelry out of records and lets you shift through there stash before they are warped for only a dollar! Pretty cool I made it out of here with a few gems like Elton John, Barry white, war, the righteous bros. Monkey was super cool guy and he gave me a bracelet because I mentioned my girlfriend. He was a nice guy and just the fact I snagged a bunch of classic records for dirt cheap was pretty awesome. I would definitely stop in a and browse around. Its right around the corner from Roberta’s.

My wife and I stopped by the booth at their flea market in Brooklyn. They have a wide variety of things made of old records. I bought a case for my 4S which is super cool. The fit and finish is top notch, and so was the customer service. Everything they have is super cool and innovative, including their business card, which looks like a concert ticket. If you buy in person, you get a better price than online, but regardless it is a great value considering that it is comparably priced to other cases, but is infinitely more unique. Can’t wait till they make them for the iphone 5 too!

Wow, caught this guy’s super cool fashions at the bkflea today. He has all sorts of things made out of original vinyl records, from earings, to money clips, belt buckles and earrings. Cool! Their business card is also awesome. It looks like a concert ticket, and even has a real shotcode on it. Aces!

My online order took much longer than expected, but the product is great and the seller even added an extra freebie in the box for my wait. Even if they are busy or on vacation and slow to respond, they are good people.

Patrick«Monkey» Chirco and his biz partner Brian Farrell stand at the intersection of art, fashion and music with their cool, unique clothing and accessories. I fell in love with their recycled record bracelets. Yup — Monkey slices and dices old vynl then silkscreens with patterns ranging from silly to sophisticated. Tho he makes sure that people know that«No good music was harmed in the process.» He only uses scratched or warped records in his craft. His wares are available at some boutiques and online, although I met him at The Market on Mulberry. It was great to hear his perspective and bear witness to how passionate he is about his art.(And, right now on the website, you can download a promotional coupon for a free bracelet, redeemable at the NoLIta market.)
