Bro, it’s $ 1 pizza. Yup, $ 1 inclusive of taxes. For $ 3, you get two slices and a can of soda. Let me put this into context for you; if you don’t have food at home, are too lazy to cook, left work too late to cook, or went to a pub and now need for food after getting twisted, this is your place! Two slices will fill you up extremely as the slices are thick. But good luck finding the crushed pepper, garlic, or other powders as there is one of each and it’s on someone’s table. Would I go back? Yes! Two beers and I’ll be there in a heartbeat! Beer plus pizza equates to love.(They don’t have a liquor license)

The best place to spend a single dollar anywhere. This is way better than any $ 4-$ 5 slice on the west coast, new yorkers are spoiled. value 5⁄5 taste 4⁄5 atmosphere 3⁄5 value 5⁄5 value 5⁄5

This particular 2bros is a definite favorite of mine in the area. When everyone told me I’d get tired of pizza in NYC, this place revolutionized how I spend money and think about pizza. Though I do venture to Potbelly a couple blocks away more frequently these days, this place satisfies hunger and one slice is enough to calor-ize me until I get home after work. If you go for the dollar slice(I have never gotten anything except for this), definitely consider adding toppings. I always slather garlic, oregano, and chili flakes on my pizza. The line during lunchtime is a bit long, but this means the pizza is fresh out of the oven.

Can you really get better than a dollar slice of pizza? Yeah, you probably could but dollar pizza places are great for a cheap hunger filler before heading home for dinner. So how’s the pizza at 2 Bros? Good, average, with a thick dough. airy, plain but meeting pizza crust expectations and decent but light on the cheese. Gotta add the garlic powder and the hot pepper flakes to boost up the flavor of the slice. With toppings like pepperoni or mushroom it’s $ 1.75 There’s a few pies already made on the racks but you can see the guy making them on the side. Soda selection is Fanta and couple others, not such a great choice. I liked by slice, well worth the dollar.

Best deal I’ve seen in Manhattan. The pizza is a $ 1.00. The saying«you get what you pay for applies to this place.»

Can’t beat a dollar a slice! I think all their deals only apply to cheese pizza, but it was delicious and cheap! Service was quick, and this was a great quick stop for lunch.

I’m not saying you can’t skip dollar pizza when you’re in New York but you really shouldn’t, especially if you stumble across one of the many 2 Bros. locations. It’s not picturesque but it’s the city! Always greeted by the Latino staff as Spanish rap or reggaeton plays in the background, it made me feel at home during the two years I spent here away from my native Miami. I returned yesterday a year and a half after moving back and the quality is just as reliable! The slices are bigger than your head and the line goes quicker than your heartbeat. If I didn’t recommend 2 Bros. to you, I’d be doing you a disservice. $ 3 for a whole meal? Yes please!

Can’t beat a $ 1 slice when you’re a little drunk at 1:30am. I grabbed the $ 2.992 slices and a soda special and I wasn’t disappointed — not the best, but pretty darn good at least. Be aware, you have to order at least 4 slices to get a to go box, otherwise you get your slices on a paper plate in a paper bag. My advice — add some pizza herbs, a little Parmesan and eat it there so your cheese doesn’t get stuck to the paper.

It’s too easy to stop here and grab a slice. Sure the area is a bit seedy at night but really, it’s dollar pizza. The crust is frankly good for a dollar slice. Really not bad at all, especially for the price… Though I still think the best dollar spice is on West 4th.

Nothing beats $ 1 pizza especially when you’re in an area like Times Square surrounded by all these other super expensive food options. Service was quick but I found the slices to be smaller than the other 2 Bros locations I’ve been to. Also wasn’t the best slice of pizza I’ve ever had in terms of taste but for the price, I really can’t complain. Another flaw was that there was a homeless man in the store that approached everyone for money which made it extremely awkward and uncomfortable to order a pizza. It also took a while for the workers here to do something about it but otherwise, this is a great place to just grab, eat and go.

It’s hard to miss the giant 2 Bros Pizza sign if you’re near the area — it’s probably visible two blocks away. Nonetheless, it took me over a month of living 5 minutes away from them to actually try the coveted $ 1 slice as advertised. So I actually got pepperoni — only cheese is $ 1 — but it was delicious all the same. Definitely a drunk food situation but aren’t those the ones you always want to be in?

I absolutely LOVE2 Bros Pizza! I have been to New York twice in the past few years, and came across this place on my first visit because it was literally down the street from our hotel. To be honest, I was very hesitant at first to try a pizza joint that boasts $ 1 slices. Normally you get what you pay for… Right? Not in this case! It honestly must be something in the spices they use because the taste is just perfect! Even sober! There is a great«combo» deal you can get $ 2.99 for two slices and a pop. You can also get pizza slices with topping for decent prices too.($ 1.75 pepperoni slice) If you are on a budget in New York and love pizza you NEED to hit up this place! I highly highly recommend everyone I know to come visit 2 Bros Pizza. 5⁄5

Love this pizza spot when I visit NYC. The $ 1 slice or 2 slice and a soda for $ 2.75 is what I always get. Is it the greatest pizza ever? Probably not but it is good(basic ny style pizza) and I’ve never had a bad slice. They do have a system to make waiting not an issue even on a busy night. They have 2 lines 1st line is just cheese slices(the special). The 2nd line is where you can add topppings for an extra charge. I like it because the slices are always hot, fresh and not dried out because it’s been sitting in the window for hours. Even if you are in a hurry and taking transit, it’s about 2 blocks from the bus station. It’s still close to times square but just being 2 blocks away limits some of the craziness of tourists. I guess the only thing I can see someone complaining about is the tables to eat out front are pretty close tho the trash on the curb. If you are use to the city you pay no mind to it.

My absolute favorite place for the original basic NY pizza! It doesn’t come more simply than this. 2 bros has been my favorite pizza since I lived in the East Village years ago /their pizza is always piping hot and fresh. Delicious and its price tag is phenomenal($ 1) If you’re looking for fancy toppings to complete a «fancy» New York experience — this is surely not your place, but I guarantee after your fancy night out at a fancy lounge/club — this amazing place will be your favorite place as you get the munchies on the way home walking with your heels in your hand honey!!! Don’t be fooled by be $ 1 a slice price! Its flavor beats your average joe pizza chains and most of the other pizza places in the city. If you want to make it fancy, buy a pie go to the supermarket and buy your toppings, add them on — put the pie back in the oven for a few minutes and you’ve got your fancy pizza!!!(Lol if your pie fits in your oven) A MUST!

I am a jersey girl and always pass by 2 Bros Pizza on my way to Port Authority. They got a great marketing ploy cause they open all their doors and the smell of freshly baked pizza will draw you in. I many times fail to walk pass it, but who cares! it’s only $ 1 for a plain slice. Idk about other times but when I go there is always a line, but the line moves pretty quickly. I have no idea how the heck they keep up with demand cause there is always a line(i digress) but since there is always people, the pizza(plain slice at least) is always fresh out of the oven. there are other types of pizza there but those don’t go as quickly and i can’t say how fresh they are. the toppings only cost a few cents more. in terms of quality, 2 Bros Pizza is a pretty solid slice. when you’re having pizza cravings, it’s the best place to quickly and cheaply satisfy.

I mean $ 1 for a slice of cheese pizza. What is there to complain about. It is extra for toppings but still. It has pretty good crust. They also have some seating inside. Whether you are on the run, walking to a restaurant, or drunk, grab a slice and go on your way!

First of all, this particular location is open late, like 4am on a weekend!!! Second, this place is awesome! Cheap eateries are always awesome! What more can you ask for?! Seating area is limited. Easy to get to if you’re coming from NY Penn Station, Path 33rd station, or Port Authority.
