2000 Auto Service Corp

These guys are a bunch of crooks and hacks. I would stay away from these hacks. I took my car to these guys at 7 am in the morning and picked it up at 3pm and all these meatheads could tell me was that my car had a misfiring. I already knew that that’s why I took it to them and then the manager/​owner had the nerve to say to leave it overnight so they can check it and he was gonna charge me 398.00 flat fee. What a crook. I took my car paid them the 80.00 they charged me for doing nothing and took it to J-​tech the guys really knowledgeable and very reasonable in his prices. He fixed the problem same day at less that 150.00 dollar fix including parts. Stay away from Auto 2000.

Good prices and quality work. I have an older Mercedes and they treat her like gold. I have had everything from a simple inspection to body work. Keep up the good work.

I went there by chance, because it’s a block close to my groceries supermarket.
less than 15 min later my car had passed the inspection, staff was real nice with me today I did not experience at all what was described here. If I have seen the reviews first I would probably never been there, but i was happy with the service and the quick inspection done with no appointment.

Do not bring your car here. This place is an old school crook shop. They tried to do work on my car without authorizing it. Then when I opted not to do the work (oil change) because the other work (changing a flat with a wheellock on) was too expensive and was going to take until Monday!!! they refused service. Leaving my car disabled in their bay and me having to get a tow to another shop up the street. I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO GET SERVICED HERE!!!

I’ve been going to this place since the name was accurate — 2000. I’ve never had a problem and never found anything but friendliness. The service is fast, usually same day; The prices are reasonable.
I notice that most of the reviews are positive, but the bot has flagged them and hidden them, even though they are obviously not spam.
I also notice that the four least positive reviews are all written in a very similar style and say almost exactly the same thing. Draw your own conclusions from that.

We have been going to these guys for some time and I can’t help but feel like they just charge you for things you don’t really need (which ends up breaking down again in a few months).

Wish I could give a zero. 3 days to weld an exhaust leak, they used a coat hanger, guess how long that lasted, stand behind their work… NOT!

Do not go there; staffs are incompetent and rude. These are people who don’t know what ‘KIND’ means.
I had an inspection there and failed. The old woman (who’s the mother of the owner hanging out at the office all the time) said if we come back after fixing the problems, she will not charge another cent. So, even though we didn’t have to go back there to get our car re-​inspected, we troubled to go there again since she promised «no charge».
Now, when our car was re-​inspected, and the guy was ready to put a new sticker, this old woman suddenly went outside and ordered him not to put it on unless I pay. Shocked, I tried to explain what she said to us, she said no. And all her children argued that WE misunderstood her because of her accent. And yes, none of these children were there when we arranged this last week.
All three Spanish women ganged upon me demanding another $ 37.
After this attack, when I asked the copy (the one that said we failed), one of the daughter (or daughter in law) said it’s hers and she can’t give it to me. It was the RECEIPT that they gave us last time!
I demanded (to keep as an evidence, just in case), she threw shredded pieces in front of me. She ripped it off without asking me.
I mean, the vibe wasn’t good anyway, but this kind of attitude and service… It’s mystery to me that they survive this horrible economy.
After all this, when I was leaving, one of the guys who checked our car said to me «I’m sorry». You know what I mean? Employees apologize for owners’ bad attitude…
Please don’t go and waste you time and money.
