Fantastic clothes and even better customer service. They were tremendously helpful with sizing, advice and tracking down inventory. When my jeans didn’t fit as expected Erica went out of her way to make the situation right and never made me feel like I was being a pain.

The people in this store are SO incredibly nice and helpful I had to write a review. I stopped in on Black Friday lured in by a great sale. They were serving snacks and received a warm hello from the guard at the door. The staff helped me without being overwhelming. I was not sure about my size so purchased the same pants in 2 different sizes, they knew I would have a return and could not be nicer.
Well, unfortunately the pants did not work out for me so now I had the dreaded return. Most stores that loved you when you are buying treat you like cr-​p when returning. Not this shop!!!
Again, a nice warm greeting. The sales person could not have been nicer! She even asked her co worker if she knew of another brand that made what i was looking for. What a great culture and a great store!
I WILL be back!

Back in New York I reached out to 7 For All Mankind at 73 5^th avenue since I have a pair of pants that I have a problem with (bought the last time I visited the city). Esme Hovekamp and Sarah Goldberg was working and I recognised them from my last visit, 6 months ago. The reason why I recognised them is that they were so helpful last time I was there. They were as helpful this time, gave me helpful tips to fix my pants and helped me find a new pair of favourite jeans :)
When it comes to service, this is definitely one of my favourite stores in N.Y. Thank you Chris, Esme & Sarah for great service!

I love this store. I’ve gone twice in one week and each time left with an amazing pair of jeans and other stuff.

Today I stopped by the 5^th Ave store not too far away from Union Square in NYC. I was looking for a shirt that, horror of horrors, I couldn’t find online anymore. I had been waiting for it to be marked down because $ 125 was somewhat rich for my blood (if not my wallet).
I was disappointed to learn that the shirt was not available in the store and may be at an outlet. The lady I spoke with suggested that I could go to the outlet store about an hour north of the city but, alas, I have no car. I’m also not hot enough for anything to take a bus to an outlet, ya dig?
But then one of the ladies there suggested they could order it for me and send it to my home in Brooklyn. They called the outlet and, lo and behold, they had my size and it was marked down.
All too often people complain about things but rarely pipe up when things are great (especially on Unilocal), so this is my bid to spread the cheer.

I hate making returns so much that I never do it. The salesgirls from this store could not have known this, let’s start with what they did know:
–New, never before worn pair of jeans, fully tagged, even in the same Seven bag they were brought home in.
–A red-​faced, very embarrassed me without a receipt.
The lack of a receipt was a surprise to me and discovering this at the register was awful. So when they asked me twice where I bought the pair of jeans, I thought it was a fair question. However, when I was then asked to retrieve proof of the sale via my bank statement, and in a snide way moreover, I absolutely did take note. As did my best friend, a guy, corporate lawyer, sort of oblivious. If he notices anything retail-​related outside of a merger or acquisition it means the retailer has erred in a conspicuous way.
Even after I pulled up the mobile bank statement the girls’ behavior improved only marginally and I was still asked, «Did you get them in this store?»
No, I wanted to say, Wells Fargo is lying to you.
They finally figured it out. «It» being that I wasn’t lying, nor was my bank statement, nor was that register in front of them providing documentation of the recent sale. And I wonder, what would have happened had I not had my phone on me or what if I did not own a smartphone with mobile banking? Not everyone does.
This is a jean store, they sell jeans. We’re not talking about big ticket, Harry Winston price tags. So if I return one pair of never worn, fully tagged $ 160 Seven jeans to the same store I purchased them at, a Seven store that sells many pairs of $ 160+ Seven jeans all day long open to close, it should not devastate the store’s daily or weekly sales goal. Meaning the previously described hyper-​vigilant behavior should not happen, not if they are doing their job right.
