I will miss this place. I’m leaving the neighborhood and I’ve always had the royal treatment every time I walked in. The food is typical sushi fare, nothing is unreasonably priced. I enjoy their sushi boat, and they always treat me to something on the house. Thanks for exceptional service and good eats!

I am never one to complain and I have never felt compelled to write a bad review until I had AA ichiban today, WORST Japanese food, sushi, and brown rice bowls I’ve ever had. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong dishes, the delivery service was excellent, I feel bad writing a bad review but it was such bad sushi I didn’t finish it and I was still hungry so I had to find other food to eat since I couldn’t even finish my order from here. and it was expensive.

I had the raw fish appetizer and it was pretty good. I got the student 10% discount. I give this place 4 out 5 stars because the service was a bit slow even though I was the only customer dining.

Best chicken soba noodle soup in the city. Came back from Tokyo recently and this was the closest out of 5 different places I tried. (most other noodles were just not the same, more like egg noodles) Also, the person on the phone who takes orders is and always has been extremely nice and professional, which is a rarity these days.

I will not ever order from AA ichiban again, waited 1 hour for delivery, food never came. I called them, they said delivery guy left ask me to wait few more minutes, 15 more minutes later food still didn’t come, called again to my surprise this time they told me they are so busy and my food is still sitting there waiting for available delivery guy to deliver the food to me, the way this restaurant handled my calls and not appreciating the business was the worst!!!

Clean, spacious no-​frills Japanese food prepared by Chinese people. Had the Hibachi and it was solid.
Ate in and the sever gave me 10% off just to be nice.

I don’t consider myself to be a picky eater at all. I have never come across such a tasteless nabeyaki udon though… and I have to say that I’ve eaten a LOT of them in my life.
I ordered through seamless and was fooled by their supposed 4⁄5 star rating. They said the food would come in 15 – 35 minutes and it actually came in 1 hour. To top things off, the delivery man was extremely rude even when all I did was hold open the door for him, help him balance his bike, and help him pick up some other orders he dropped on the ground. All he did was swipe my hand away and glare at me as he snapped back «no» repeatedly.

I ordered the sukiyaki soup and i was soooooooooo disappointed, i’ve never had a blander meal. It tasted like hot water with unseasoned chunks of meat thrown in, i was starving and i still couldn’t muster up the strength to eat it. I searched feverishly for some sort of flavor but sadly there was none. Do not believe their rating on seamless, which states 4⁄5 stars, it is obviously rigged by the owner because there is no way that someone could find this appetizing, i mean unless your an avid enemy to flavor. Some restaurants need to stop making food, this is one of them.
