Absolutely Clear Electrolysis & Skin Care

Had a few straggler hairs after previous laser treatments and was advised that electrolysis would better permanently remove those hairs.
It’s overwhelming to find one since there is no shortage in Manhattan, but Diane came highly recommended.
She uses disposable gold needles on a good machine (Apilus Senior device) and is very honest — she won’t try to upsell you and provides services in 15 minute increments, so you just pay for what you need — and she’ll let you know how much time it will take.
The plus side is she is genuinely caring and makes you comfortable with what could be a painful and awkward procedure. And she has little chocs available for after your treatment — I’m a sucker for positive reinforcement :)

I checked out a few electrologists in New York City recently to clear up about 15 hairs I have left from previous treatments in LA and had a very hard time finding someone great that does good insertions and uses a good machine. Diane at Absolutely Clear Electrolysis is definitely the best one I found in lower Manhattan.
She has the Apilus Senior device and performs thermolysis and fastest microflash, but can also do blend on that machine. The insertions were great and she used a gold probe. She is also very willing to pro-​rate treatments, which is great in my case as they’re definitely a lot shorter than the usual minimum of 15 minutes given that I only have a couple hairs to treat.
The only downside is that she only takes cash, no credit cards. But I can live with that.
