The gnocci was cold and the service was meh. For the price of this place you’d expect higher caliber. The mushroom soup was pretty good though. The fettucini alfredo was OK but not incredible which is what I was expecting for.

Waiters are super friendly but very slow. A very small Caesar salad will set you back $ 18. This restaurant is cute but the food in no way has the quality and taste you would expect for the high price. I’m very disappointed I spent so much money here.

Stopped by for a few bites after shopping. Had the Burrata alla Alfredo and Napoleon di tonno which were both appetizers and very delicious. Try to grab a seat outside.

1.5 hrs in this place. The service was horrible. The main dishes had good flavor but took more then an hour to come out and 2 dishes were cold. And that was only after we talked to the manager. The portion sizes made me wish I ate my own appetizer. The comp’d us 4 different deserts but never asked if www wanted coffee or tea???

Have gone to Alfredo 100 since it was Alfredo of Rome and the food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. The only thing I wish is that the portion sizes were a little bit bigger, otherwise it’s one of the best places to eat in New York City.

Small pile of: Cold, rubbery, watery fettuccini Alfredo with dried small pieces of chicken for the low low price of $ 37 without tax or tip. Seriously? Used to be a good place before they moved. Never again. So not worth it given the plethora of great places in NYC. What a waste

This was, perhaps, the worst meal I’ve eaten in 10 years. Artichoke Salad was improperly prepared. The squid ink pasta was nothing more than rubber seafood over store bought ink noodles. Even the lemoncello was awful. At this price point Alfredo 100 is stealing your money. Go elsewhere.

Horrible business conduct! These guys hired a DJ for their NYE party, had the guy pump out 5 hours of jams non-stop, then asked him to stay longer. When it came time to pay the DJ, no one wanted to talk to him. Guy needs to get paid, these scumbags cheated him out. Don’t do business with them.

Great time here, spent Thanksgiving with my fiancé. The pre fix was very well thought out and well priced. For a new place it has potential.

We wanted a restaurant in NYC that was quiet enough so that we could actually have a conversation, and Alfredo 100 was perfect. We were early for our reservation, so we sat at the bar and enjoyed our conversation with Clive, the very friendly and attentive bartender. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the holidays. Service overall was excellent. The menu is limited, but the 4 of us were able to find something that we all enjoyed. I had the grilled chicken and grilled vegetables. My husband enjoyed the veal chop, and our friends(vegetarians) had the soup and lobster salad. Prices were about what you would expect for a restaurant in NYC. The location was perfect for us – far enough away from the craziness of Rockefeller Center and Time Square.

I was not impressed. The atmosphere is quite plesent. Service was deplorable, I ordered milk, the wait staff could not comprehend milk. First the waiter, then the bartender then the manager all came back /over to confirm«milk ». The menu is limited but that’s fine as it is a restaurant with a specific name sake items. I’m allergic to mushrooms & was very clear with the waiter, he acknowledge my allergie. When my food arrived there was one sole mushroom on the side of the plate.(Good thing I saw it before I had to pull out the Epie Pen) When I mentioned it to the waiter he began to argue with me. The chef was called, he looked at it & said it was a mushroom. Apologies & took the plate. 15 min another plate arrived(after my companions had eaten) no apologize from the waiter. When the bill arrived it was full price we were not comped plate that had to go back. Beware if you have allergies Overall. There are a lot of good restaurants in NYC. I can eat elsewhere.

There is no better fettuccini in the world. As a matter of fact there is no other fettuccini that even comes remotely close! Not by a long shot! Amazing every time! Always a highlight of my NYC trips!

I came here with a bunch of vegetarians which probably skews my whole perspective on this restaurant. We rented the private room in the back. It was cozy and the service was really attentive though may I say lazy(e.g., waiter ran out of flat bottled water so he asked me if I would like sparkling instead when he got to me and I had to be like, no, go get more flat. .. seriously). But again, I came here with vegetarians on a prix-fixe menu and being a carnivore at heart, I really only enjoyed the bread and dessert. The appetizer was forgettable. The entrée in particular was the primavera pasta and I actually found it inedible and akin to bad airplane food. The head waiter provided great service. Like they messed up one entrée in our party and they brought out her correct entrée shortly thereafter, some risotto dish she could eat. And the desserts were marvelous. Like decadent, beautifully presented and utterly satisfying. I had the flour less chocolate cake with cherries and real whip cream which made me quite happy. Others in our group finished off their tiramisu and apple tart with equal gusto. But you don’t go to an Italian restaurant just for dessert. I suspect some of their non-vegetarian entrees may be decent here, but my personal experience was more akin to two stars and only saved by the great dessert.

We had a groupon. $ 54.00 for $ 108.00 worth of food! Each app= $ 20.00 or less each entrée= $ 34.00 or less. First, we were in the front of the restaurant-I think then wanted to fill up the front to attract customers but it was too hot for us. We asked the hostess if we could move to the back and she was very kind and sat us in the back room. We presented the groupon to our waiter who was very nice and asked us for our drink order. We ordered a bottle of wine, and to start ordered the eggplant dish and the seared tuna dish(both pictured below). I enjoyed the eggplant and not so much the tuna, to me it tasted a bit too smoked and Derek enjoyed the tuna but not the eggplant so it was a win win! We then ordered the pasta special which was homemade pasta, Alfredo sauce and truffle oil along with the ossobucco. The waiter very kindly split the pasta onto our plates since we were sharing both and the lamb was placed in the center of our table. Let’s just say we both devoured the pasta so quickly that we couldn’t even try the lamb! We took that home for lunch the next day. We had a great waiter and a nice time. The only thing that was a bit off putting were all the caricatures on the walls and in the bathrooms. It made it seem like the restaurant was very old, which it is but it felt like a time warp on a sense. Yay or nay? YAY! This is a great date spot, not too crowded at dinner time and very attentive staff.

Adored Alfredo 100! Who would know that behind such a silly name is an amazing restaurant!!! Bread basket, the focaccia was amazing, the baguette quite bad(ya need to just put focaccia or change your baguette person…) For appetizers, we had the crab cakes– amazing, light and crispy, fluffy and very meaty; we also had the calamari and squid salad– to die for! So much sea food on your plate and the texture was perfect, no chewiness, it was perfectly marinated(?) and grilled, melted at each bites. Probably best calamari I’ve had! These 2 dishes were pretty filling already! Our main courses consisted of the beef with potato gratin and asparagus. Same theme in the softness of the meat! Perfectly medium and melting in your mouth. Quite a fantastic piece of meat! I had the monkfish. O.em.G! First time I’ve had monkfish, and boy this was something! The piece was thick, oh so tender, perfectly cooked yet juicy, subtly seasoned– it was perfection. Dessert was an Italian crème brûlée which is cold on top and is made with a more citrus tone. Amazing. Just down right amazing. I almost took one to go. One of the best meal I’ve had in a while! Definitely check it out! I would give it a 6 stars if I could! Amazing food–

I’m glad we went with a Groupon; that way, we cut our losses from the heavily overpriced menu and mediocre food. The first giveaway was the cold, catering quality bread. Based on that alone, it is laughable that Alfredo claims to be «New York’s Most Respected Italian Restaurant.» Perhaps that was true in the 1920s. Now that is just hype. Thanks to the bread, which typically reflects a restaurant’s class, we decided to not to pay any extra beyond the prepaid Groupon. But few items on the menu were priced below the allowed coupon limit of $ 20 for an appetizer and $ 30 for an entrée. The $ 18 calamari was inferior to what many lower-priced Italian restaurants(with a comparable ambience) in midtown Manhattan offer. The $ 15 pizza was nothing but melted cheese on a baked pancake. Great way for a caterer to feed the masses. Bad dining at such prices. Many wonderful restaurants charge a lot less than $ 46 for a whole branzino so we didn’t even bother. One waiter had to take care of the entire front section of the restaurant(around 11 pm), so we took in the romantic view of the parking lot across the street while waiting to be served. No wonder Alfredo has to offer coupons to bring in diners, even as it claims a superior reputation. With so many reasonably priced, good restaurants nearby, we have no reason to return.

Few places in the city has mastered the art and science of fine, memorable dining. Alfredo 100 is nestled in the same spot as the well known Bice Restaurant for those who know this area and frequent this class of Italian dinning. Great for dinning alone, with a few friends or with a large group. Lots of zesty dishes, some classics, some signature and of course it doesn’t hurt that this family invented the world famous Alfredo sauce. Indoor and outdoor dining options available, parking lot next door and street parking available after 7pm. Stop in to experience the Classy service. You’ll be back.

Solid midtown spot. Selling point is the open doors during the spring/summertime that give the front of the place an al fresco feel. Start with the baked eggplant with mozzarella and follow that with the veal chop and you have yourself a great meal.

Came here on a Saturday night. had a living social deal. place was amazing as well as the waitstaff. @100 Starters: Me n wifey had the calamari and beef carpacio. Licked the plates clean Second I: Pasta ravioli and penne ala vodka topped with grated cheese… food melts in your mouth. served at the right time and pleasantly cooked Main course: Wifey got the filet(which I basically ate) and I got the chicken marshal topped w portabella mushrooms and vegetables… BOTH cooked to perfection and a great presentation… And last, but not least.(with an already protruding belly and fully satisfied toast buds) out comes the DESSERT: Molten lava cake which was hands down ORGASMIC And Choco/vanilla ice cream which hit all the gustatory and proprioceptors of me n wifeys taste buds. All in all. Place was great. .got a great deal. Whole thing cost around $ 140.voucher, tax n tip… totally worth it. One side note: I wouldve appreciated the waiter or restaurant not putting an automatic 20percent tip on the bill… I would’ve done that anyway due to the quality of the service and overall awesomeness of the cuisine. check this place out ppl… Neither your or ur taste buds will regret it!
