They were always on time, clean, professional and were very well supervised. They painted and power washed my back yard. They redid the concrete steps and other inside repairs. Very reasonable and reliable. Highly recommended

STAYAWAYFROMTHISGUY. He steals deposits and then threatens you that he is going to have his lawyer after you and will have you arrested for harassment. He ignores phone calls text messages and emails after he gets your deposit. Im going to small claims court which I am sure will prove fruitless because this guy has no money. He is using deposits to pay his rent. I am out $ 1400. DONTUSEHIM. This is a bogus business and he has no insurance even though he alleges he does. He is the kind of guy who has the system down to a science and knows you have no recourse because he has nothing.

This is my first ever Unilocal review. I’ve had such an awful experience that I feel like I should share in hopes of saving someone else from a situation like this. We hired Peter Spinelli of All Building Contracting in April 2013… it’s nearing the end of July and we are still not finished. The project was a retail store with custom cabinets, one small office, custom countertops and overall painting and finishing of cabinets. Peter Spinelli has no idea what he is doing, probably because he never really showed up. He lies more times than my eyes blink in one day. He had ONE worker the entire time but lied to us that he had a whole crew of guys. We needed the job done fast and our preferred contractor wasn’t available(guess who’s available now to come fix everything that Peter couldn’t do or messed up). He overcharged for«workorders» that were oversights on his part, he overcharged for the electricity who was required to be licensed(he knew as much as I did about electricity), he blamed everyone and anyone for everything that went wrong. He dreamed up conversations he had with our landlord, with the glass installation company and the carpenter. He lies about every single thing to make up for his extreme lack of expertise. The guy can basically cut a piece of wood and slap paint on it then say, «what? it’s gonna look great when we are done?» He’s nasty and his ego will make you vomit. It all went bad when I received an email on a Sunday night at 4pm demanding that I transfer $ 1500 extra, above what the contract and materials cost, to his bank account by Monday morning or the job just isn’t going to end«happy». He’s flat broke, can’t manage funds, and treats everyone like they are morons. We’ve finally fired Peter Spinelli and will surely be seeking legal action against him, in an attempt to recover our funds as well as make sure this guy loses his license because he isn’t qualified to have one. Lastly, he sends awkward and odd emails which are almost unreadable and truly makes up things that never happened. We were crunched for time but ITWASNOTWORTHIT. My advice to anyone out there considering this guy, even if you need it started yesterday, get someone else, anyone else at all.

I should have had this lunatic arrested. This had to be the singularly worst contractor experience I’ve ever had. I needed to renovate my kitchen quickly. And since none of my recommended-contractors were available, I pulled this guy off of Craig’s List, Biggest mistake ever. He lies as easily as I breathe. He claimed to apply for permits that A) I actually didn’t need and B) He took outrageous fees for and C) He never bothered to apply for, until I discovered it. He invented conversations with our architect. He invented conversations with my building super and with vendors. And he refused to show us cabinet samples, telling us to «imagine» them, instead. He disappeared for 7 weeks, claiming that he couldn’t do any more work without a proper permit, even though his one lone employee had been on our site for months already. Then he admitted that he couldn’t afford to pay the lone workman any longer because — get this — he went over budget on our project. He lies about everything. He has no expertise; apparently he used to renovate restaurants 20 years ago. But now he’s just flat broke. He bilked us for phony«added work orders» until we caught onto him. We fired him after four months. Four horrible months. After which, he sent incoherent, bizarre emails to everyone involved in my project. Then he tried to have the utility company turn off my gas. Consider yourself warned.

This business advertises on Craig’s List. Do yourself a favor; find a contractor with a good recommendation — ask around. Don’t settle for this company. You will regret it in spades. If I provided a list of purely evil business practices that this proprietor engages in, he’ll likely employ a bevy of lawyers against me and my girlfriend. So consider yourself warned. He is the contractor from hell.
