Where else in the world can you buy a posable Jesus action figure, a Goonies t-​shirt (with the name Chunk emblazoned on the back), «car-​scented» mullet hairspray, etch-​a-​sketch, NYC tote bags, and clocks festooned with monkeys???
I’m fairly sure this one of the coolest stores in NYC for random oddities — which, may I say, is one of the things that makes this city so wonderful. It’s a great place to stop into if you want a) to buy gifts for yourself or someone else, or b) to spend a solid 20 minutes laughing.

Stumbled upon this shop on a recent trip to New York. Cute hipster clothing, funny men’s and women’s t-​shirts, and tons of awesome gifts. Not too pricey. I left with a cute cotton button-​up blouse for about $ 40-​very unique with fun pockets in front. T-​shirts ranged from $ 25 to $ 70. Loved the woman running the shop. She was also happy to recommend a restaurant for lunch. Try the sandwich shop across the street-​cheap and yummy.

Alphabets is a cute little shop filled with quirky toys, a small selection of cheeky women’s apparel, books, stationery, and a fantastic selection of hilarious greeting cards in the back. Worth a visit if you need a humorous gift.

Is it really possible to get 40% of your holiday shopping done within a 180 sq. ft. shop?
After emerging from this store, my credit card says yes, yes it is. It might cost you a pretty penny (cutesy/​hipster tees for $ 30, tote bags with a bird on it flipping the bird for $ 45, plus a whole plethora of random kitschy gadgets and doohickeys), but damn son… sometimes it just feels good to get things DONE.

I love buying things for people, and this place never fails me, whether i’m looking for something kitschy funny or a «real» gift. They have a nice selection of shirts, pajamas, bags and accessories and funny cards and gag gifts to complement them. Trendy t-​shirt or farting keychain, you will find it here!

Great store to buy gifts. T-​shirts are like Paul Frank’s. They sell lots of neat gadgets. Cards are not worth the price they charge. Everyone should make their own cards anyway.

Another one of those stores that is great to drop in on if you’re bored just to look around or if you are at a loss to buy a little gift for someone. From toys to great clever greeting cards and t-​shirts there is always something to catch your fancy.
