I always try to find the best bang for my buck — I think it’s the smart thing to do.
Had a good feeling about AAPT meeting it’s owner — unlike another school I completed a semester in, AAPT was not only far less expensive, it had the clearly experienced staff AND management that gave me confidence this was the right choice.
Would you feel comfortable flying on a plane whose pilot looked drunk? Exactly.
AAPT staff and fellow students looked the proper part– people in the fitness community doing their thing, not like someone that didn’t belong trying to tell you how stuff works.
I completed their longest program — 6 months, weekends only. They have shorter programs with the same content, but you have to go to class more often.
Like I implied earlier, people make or break a group, company or institution.
The people I went to class with AND was taught by were exceptional people I could not speak more highly about, My teacher was Norberto — even though all AAPT teachers are talented, fantastic people, I have to give props to Norberto because he was our teacher and he was great.
After graduating, we had a job fare, and EVERY SINGLE gym at the fare extended me a job offer. We’re talking big name gyms like NYSC, blink, crunch, Bally’s, etc. The fitness community really respects grads from this school — what better validation do you need?

I always practiced sports or was inside of a gym. But, didn´t really understand how my muscles contract, how my body would transform food in energy, or how would I introduce myself as a personal trainer to the market.
