Hit and miss with the dishes but décor and mood is best in winter. With some trial and error, one can most likely find their ideal chewing choices

Amazing location and very well decorated. The food was also very good as were the drinks. The staff was accommodating and very happen to answer any of our questions. Perhaps it was the time of day but our server seemed to be lacking some patients. I will give him a pass. If you are people watching or looking for a nice meal and a super hip area then check out this Mediterranean eatery!

Turkish ‘fusion’. Not very authentic, their tabouleh was just chopped up Kale,(something you would not find in Turkey for sure). A lot of their dishes just seemed confused. If it wasn’t labelled a Turkish restaurant I would be okay with it, but half the dishes are not what they say they are.

Note: this review deals only with drinks, atmosphere, staff and not food. After Gov balls last day was cancelled, we decided to make a day out of it by visiting various places in SOHO area. After having a very late brunch, and a drink at another establishment, it started to drizzle a little, so we took cover in this very welcoming spot. We sat at the bar and ordered one cocktail after another, they were all great(I preferred the berries smash whiskey one). The bartender and the staff in general were very efficient and nice. The bartender even made us some free shots. The place itself is very nostalgic of another era in time and space that most of us never got to experience. Only downside is that the drinks are pretty pricey, but we kinda knew that coming in. I’d definitely recommend this place, and hope to go there again for food this time as well.

Excellent Turkish food, must try the apricot dessert. I will definitely come back on my next New York trip. The setting is cozy and quaint, my favorite style and the perfect spot for a late meal. The service was great as well, perfect start to our trip :)

Service wasn’t that great. The table next to us who kept ordering bottles of wine was clearly getting more attention for that reason. Our waiter didn’t even bring our water until we asked twice. All my friends and I regretfully for the seared tuna. It tasted like fishy pork chop and tasteless The décor is beautiful and drinks were good. But probably will not come here again.

Fascinating lounge. Turkish austere, laid back and great Cesaria Evora playing in the background. I feel like this is what makes NYC spectacular. I will come back here again for sure !!!

Best little joint in New York so far. Popped in for a quick snack and a glass of wine and fell in love with this place. Warm and intimate but lively at the same time. Cute little bar, great snack menu, fantastic food, lovely wine, prompt and friendly service and we were lucky enough to have a live jazz quartet. go check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Food — 4(traditional middle eastern) Décor — 5 very nice and classy Atmosphere — 2 — it’s a little dulling and dark. It maybe perfect for a quiet date night. But not hanging with the girls.

Came here on a Monday evening and was seated immediately. My friend and I came here for a quick bite to eat after work, so we ordered drinks and the Mixed Meze Platter to share. The platter was delicious and the right size for a quick bite. The décor is nice and unique. I’ve walked by this place a number of times and noticed that they have live music on some evenings. I would come back here again to try brunch or dinner.

I was part of a large group on a Saturday night to celebrate a friend’s going away. The ambiance and décor are really good. And they have the best smelling bathroom ever. The mezé platter was very good, with the exception of the shredded chicken. It was flavorless. The baba ghanouj was excellent. I had the spicy beytani and it was tasty. Would have liked to have had some sort of side with it though. Overall, good place but not overly remarkable. Oh and they had a live piano player which was pretty cool!

This place is so cool! An old garage indeed, with tons of antique framed art on the walls. Ambiance a perfect 10. The service is quick and pretty good. Omelette came out undercooked. Asked to send back and the waiter asked if we would like it ‘more cooked’. Uhm, yes please :) The dip platter is nummy — that and one other dish is all you need to share between 2!

Had reservations for dinner, and it was an unique experience. Warm ambience and great service. Food was very good and the touch of the live Jazz band made it even better to remember.

Overall, my party was satisfied. The food was pretty good. No standouts but everything was tasty. The service also was likewise decent. Nothing to complain about. And the piano player was a very nice touch. Really brought the energy up a bit, without which it might be sleepy. My substantial and full valid complaint about the antique garage is the juvenile and uninspiring ripoff of a cocktail menu. Ingredients; Cuervo, Schnaaps, and Triple Sec? WTF is that. Nothing else about this place would lead one to believe they serve cheap booze. It was a tequila night for me. before coming to dinner I had a 1942 neat and a nice paloma made with Herradura. Shocked when i sit down and the cocktails are made with Cuervo. $ 15 for a drink made with liquor from an $ 10 bottle. It was positively undrinkable. I NEVER send drinks back. but I couldn’t choke this down. I was with enough of a group to sample some others before I switched to beer permanently and confirmed it wasn’t just a one off bad drink. They use a lot of cheap liquor.

I absolutely loved the uniqueness of this place! Before I proceed: why the 4⁄5? Absolutely freezing in the middle of winter! So cold! Ambiance: awesome! Live piano, brick walls, glass garage door, great chandelier and densely gathered tables giving a nice European vibe. And, the dishes are very authentic and representative of the Mediterranean cuisine. The Halloumi Cheese Salad, Aegean Sarma and Calamari dishes are all must-tries! We absolutely loved them! For main courses: Spicy Beyti and Bar Steak dishes are great for main courses. As far as desert goes, all were great options, paired with Turkish coffee! Great place to come with a large group, or a date

My friend Amy and I ate here during the holidays. I’d been here once before during Fashion week and had made a mental note to come again. This place has such a good energy I LOVE the staff my waiter was so sweet and also quite attractive, a bit of harmless flirting was exchanged, what can I say wine gives me liquid courage I sat and drank with my friend for what seemed like hours and we weren’t rushed out! At one point we went out to smoke and when we returned to the table they had taken our wine away thinking we we finished. The waiter aka my boyfriend for the night(he got more and more attractive as the dinner progressed) gave us two more glasses on the house! Wanna know another perk? The play live jazz every night, you can go on the website and find out who’s performing incase you become obsessed like me and now have a favorite.

Antique Garage reminds me of a bar/café that Hemingway would drink at in Paris(and I’m saying this as someone who has yet been to Paris). I love the gyspy den-esque feel but I don’t like how snobbish I felt the menu was. Very few options for vegetarians that seem appealing. I supposed they aim for a specific crowd but I know a ton of writers who would love to come here for the scenery if it wasn’t so expensive.

Initially walked into this place looking for an iPhone 6 charger, luckily I was able to score one at the bar. I needed to charge my phone for a bit so my friend and I had a cocktail and shared an appetizer. This place is super cute, very very adorable. I love the ambiance. It’s perfect for date night. It is a little on the pricey side. The bar itself had a few seats but there are several tables all around. The service was good, the bartender was friendly and welcoming. Would I recommend this place? Sure! I always find Mediterranean food interesting.

We ordered Italian dish. Tasty no doubt. They also have turkey dishes in menu. The waiter is quite courtesy and live jazz is great too. I think it’s another great stumble upon. All deco of restaurant is quite classy. I will come back.

Definitely pricey but it’s expected in this neighborhood. My sister, her boyfriend and I came by to grab a weekday lunch. To start, we tried the hummus and eggplant salad. It was delicious and flavorful. As an entrée, I ordered the bar steak that was a grilled hangar steak and arugula leaves with French fries and tzatziki sauce. It was perfectly grilled and seasoned. The tzatziki sauce was delicious with the steak. Food was enjoyable, service prompt and space well decorated.
