Sutton Foster… amazing amazing amazing and stunning. She stole the whole show it was funny, the music was great. The sets and costumes and music was great. It was a very funny show and I highly recommended this show to anyone who loves a funny and good time on broadway!

Was so thankful for $ 22 hiptix tickets to allow me to see a broadway show again. I had missed the wondeful voices, amazing sets, and dancing.
I actually saw the show with the main character being played by an understudy and thought she did a wonderful job. I wasn’t disappointed at all as I didn’t come to see the show for a particular actor or actress.
The show was well done. I don’t think there was a bad seat in the house. Everything had a great view of the stage.
I feel that the show was more for an older generation. Some of the humor was a bit corny for my taste. However, for $ 22, I was thrilled to see it!

wow, loooooved every minute of this production. was utterly impressed with the shear talent exhibited by the cast, especially joel gray and the multi-​talented stephanie block. one of my favorite musicals… set design, costumes — all first class and pacing was perfect, never found myself drifting… and that happens to me quite often!
btw, got tix last minute cuz i couldn’t get tix for book of mormon… went to the ticket office minutes before the curtains opened and got rush tix for $ 30… what a steal!

I was heartbroken to not see Sutton Foster! That was the whole reason I wanted to see this show. In my opinion, I don’t enjoy when actors prod the audience for more laughs, more applause, etc. I could have left after the First Act, «Anything Goes», dance number.

Provocative & Hilarious!
Saw Anything Goes on Valentines Day and my boyfriend and I were delighted with the performance. Sutton Foster was stunning.

Good humored, energetic, tongue-​in-​cheek romp on the high seas. Great old-​school musical numbers, talented cast, especially ms. Foster who steals the show!

not a good show. Both –me and my boyfriend were very dissapointed. Tickets were expensive $ 100 each and we were expected to have great seats. The seats were ok, but they were not the best. They were on a very distant side of the orchestra. I was looking forward for the show performance, but from the first minutes — i realized that the play was not good, the voices were not good, the main characters playing in a show — were not performing well at all. The movements on a stage were heavy, repetative and not very impressive at all. I was recommended to see this how by m kids and my friends — however, I left this show very unhappy, feeling like I didnt’ get something I was supposed to.

Now one of my top five favorite Broadway shows ever! Amazingly talented cast. Some of the best songs and choreography and absolutely hysterical. And to top it all off, there are about 22 stalls in the ladies room. The line for the ladies’ room was shorter than for the mens’ room! Overall, a must have experience!

We paid $ 106 each on Telecharge for excellent seats: center mezzanine row JJ, Seats 111 – 112. This is the last row of mezzanine and if I was inclined, I could have stood up and stretched during the show. I forget the breakdown but if I had gotten these tickets at the box office, it probably would have been $ 15 cheaper per ticket but that wasn’t convenient for me so we just went for it. It’s only money. Right? Nevertheless, neither one of us were annoyed at this very pricey seat because the SHOW IS THAT GOOD. And to have concrete plans a few weeks in advance rather than diddling around waiting for a better price was worth the premium we paid since my friend came in from Boston. The music, lyrics, and dialog are wonderful and funny. The tap dancing, amazing. A huge thrill and we both loved it. I had seen the show the last time (in the ‘80s??) and listened to the soundtrack quite a lot because I just love the music.
Book of Mormon is at the top of my list followed by Priscilla. Last time my friend came in, we saw Million Dollar Quartet (loved it) and Fab Faux at Radio City that night (fantastic). Two girls were sitting next to me, both around 20 years old, and they were tapping and cheering. That was great fun for me and such a breath of fresh air when you look around at a theater filled with people and most people are sitting there like wooden boards. What is up with that!!!

What a great time! The score — vaguely familiar to most of us — is fun and performed with such energy and talent that the time flies by. And despite its almost burlesque, campy flavor, the dancing and singing are thrilling. You’re left wanting more.
The whole cast is terrific but Sutton Foster is truly a force of nature.

I got rush tickets to see the show with my family. It is a great family show. I was funny and entertaining and the Sutton Foster was just amazing. The tap dancing was great, it made you want to get on your feet and dance with them. If you are into dance and want a good laugh, this is a great show to see. If you have time to wait in line in the morning, you can get general rush tickets for $ 30 and seats they give are great. Even if you are in the back the theater you will have no prob seeing, the theater is quit small which is great!

Got rush tickets for $ 30 for a Sunday matinée. Theater didn’t sell out that day so everyone got to move up so I ended up with great seats for a low price.
It was a very good show. Funny and entertaining. The cast was great and the songs were good as well. I would definitely recommend it.

I’m a lover of musical theater, and the Roundabout Theatre’s rendition of «Anything Goes» was simply lovely (or shall I say de-​lovely). The set design is creative, the acting is top-​notch, and the choreography is phenomenal. The plot is silly and unrealistic, but hey, that’s what I came in expecting.
The only major disappointments: Sutton Foster was out with tonsilitis (she was THE reason I went to see the show) and Joel Grey was out for unannounced reasons. Boo, boo, boo.
I want to piggyback on Kyle V.‘s recommendation — sign up for HipTix. My $ 22 seat was far more worth it than the $ 100 seat next to me.

Toe-​tappin’, old-​school-​dancin’, sing-​song-​sangin’, and altogether fabulosous! (I can’t believe I didn’t review this yet!!) Anything Goes is one thing you should GO[es] and see if you see ANYTHING on Broadway.
I’ve been lucky enough to see almost a dozen shows over the course of the last year and this one was head and shoulders above the rest. The dancing was meticulous, while being energetic and engaging — it’s a truly amazing thing to see so many tap dancers so completely and perfectly in sync! The singing and songs were on pitch and melodious, while remaining cute and witty. And the acting — holy crap, Sutton Foster! I’d heard she was awesome, but I’m somewhat jaded when it comes to musical theater so I was looking forward to her performance but I kinda thought she’d be just another Broadway actress. She was mesmerizing! She is so completely amazing and wonderfully talented. She truly brings the elite star power — and is a true triple threat — that makes this show even better.
For those who are already familiar with the show, the Broadway rendition is still completely worth seeing. In fact, it’s worth making a trip to NYC with the sole purpose of seeing the show. I loved it.

What an uplifting and amazing show! Saw Tari Kelly (unerstudy Sutton Foster) and she was fantastic — so much energy and that voice! The tap dancing was fantabulous! I could probably see that show every night for a week. Loved the Theatre — very intimate space and the set was magnificent! The entire cast was a joy to watch them dance and sing! Came in from Seattle to see the show and leave feeling very satisified!

Oh my goodness this was a great show. It was funny witty and te dancing I just superb. No wonder they wonthe Tony for best revival. Cole Porter you are sooo talented.

for $ 22 if you are under 35 or go try general rush early in the morning. This musical has a lot of old folks coming to watch it. So in the intermission run run run to the restroom or else there is a massive line. Old men take their time.
The cheap tickets are great since it is a small threatre go watch it with Miss Porter, she is stunning.

Wonderful evening at the theatre! Sutton Foster was simply amazing! My 17 year old son has a new appreciation for the classics in Musical Theatre!

I’m a musical nut. And a great fan of Cole Porter. This is easily one of the best revival musical shows I have seen in the last ten yrs! Full of talented broadway legends (Joel Grey etc). From the opening seen on a cruise ship I was mezmorized by all of the lovely sinjng and dance numbers. Every performer gives 100% to this production and it shows. Don’t miss a chance to see this wonderful show,

This one of the newest musicals that I would only recommend for my grandparents. The show isn’t it bad, but it’s a bit dated and classic. It has some glamor to it and a great cast. Music wise, these actors are very talented and can sing. I just wish it has something for reliable to a younger crow. Love the ending of first half; Sutton Foster really works her but off on that tap number. Overall is nice, but for a more mature audience. Nothing like the Book for Mormon or Priscilla.
