Applebee’s

First time going to Applebee’s and will never go back to this one, or any other one. Food was sloppy, found a hair in my burger and overall bad dinning experience for myself and everyone at the table. To much effort was put into the décor of the restaurant, rather than on the food and staff.

Worst service!!! Bartenders are a joke… Waiters look lost. took twenty five mins to get a beer. on a non busy day what a freaking joke! Never again!

Given this place quite a few tries, and now I’m finished. Service is poor because they are always understaffed, and management has does nothing to solve the problem. Food is edible, but not great by any means. This place is aesthetically pleasing, but that’s all is has going for it. I’ll run over to Harley’s on my way home from the mall instead.

So the applebees is awesome great host and waiters however I’ve been there in 3 separate occasions in the parking just to test it out. Literally the undocumented parking servers will not let you out of the parking unless you pay them a $ 15 charge or give them $ 5 literally all 3 times I’ve waited fought they call «upper management» and as soon as I give em $ 5 they open the gate

I possibly got food poisoning from their chips n salsa.
I say possibly because that’s all I had unless you count the Thai shrimp salad with wilted cabbage and 5 baby shrimp for 15.95 that’s the biggest joke. But no seriously I think I got food poisoning. Enter at your own risk. Oh and also I’ve never seen more people get up and walk out due to bad service, I wouldn’t call it bad just a lack of soul.

From the moment we walked across the threshold, we encountered, an insolent host, dirty glasses and cutlery, undercooked food and a hair in one dish at which the manager was requested. Unfortunately, his response indicated that he was use to such situations that he could not be bothered and his only response was «Okay, so want another order?» Really!!! We swiped our payment and quickly exited. GO THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

It’s Applebee’s so sometimes it’s hit or miss, After a day of shopping went here for lunch… Food was good service sucked… We was sitting at our table for about 15 minutes before our server came over. Mind you it wasn’t that busy. When she came over, She never introduced herself. I had to look at her name tag to figure it out. I’m not gonna mention her name, Then I saw the manger I asked him if he was the manger he said yes, No introduction I had to ask him his name. What would you expect when the the servers don’t introduce themselves. They’re following the lead of management.
After we was finish eating the dirty dishes just sat on the table for about ten minutes before they were removed. Would I be going to this particular Applebee’s again probably not.

My girlfriend decided we wanted to dine here for my birthday celebration so please excuse my frustration. Upon arriving here it took 3 – 4 mins to be seated with open tables because the host was in the back gossiping. When being seated we were first seated at a disgusting uncleaned table with menu’s and food all over the seat and floor. After complaining to host (who’s idea was for us to be seated and wait for it to be clean even though there were open tables) we were seated across from it. We then waited 18 minutes before a server finally decided to appear at our table (while we were walking around asking for a waiter or manager to complain about this issue.) She said there was a credit card issue with another customer but even so never told us this for the entire 18 minutes we were waiting at the table. While taking our order we were then told after it was put in that there were no more wonton tacos (this should of been told first). After that the server then reappeared with silverware and plates. Our forks were dirty as if never washed. We asked for the manager who came promptly and we told him all of our complaints. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and horrid service he only suggested to give us plastic utensils to eat after saying «what do you want me to do?» Our food then came out cold and disgusting and were extremely fed up. We decided to just pay for our meal, pack it up and leave and give it to a homeless person but the overall experience was horrible. This place is dirty and complaining to the manager won’t do a thing. I’m sending an email to the health department as soon as this review is done because I have never received such horrible service with a disgusting, filthy, careless atmosphere.

Si tienes un novio o una novia, Applebee’s es el lugar mejor para una cita romántica. Este Applebee’s está en el este de Manhattan. Puedes tomar los trenes de 4,5 o 6 a llegar ahí. Pero, debes caminar en el barrio también. El barrio cerca del restaurante es muy pequeño pero hay un centro comercial en el barrio. Además sirve la comida americana de dieciocho a treinta y dos dólores. Está abierto todos los días de 10:00 de la mañana a 1:00 de la mañana. Adicionalmente, el ambiente es muy romántico, casual, iluminado y bonito. El servicio es muy atento, cómico y amable. Pero, el servicio es muy lento.
Normalmente, la comida de Applebee’s es muy exquisita especialmente su ensalada Caesar. En este Applebee’s me encanta la ensalada de camarón porque está fresca y riquísima. Cómela. Sin embargo, en este Applebee’s no me gusta la ensalada de Caesar porque tiene demasiado aderezo Caesar. No la pidas. Tampoco, no debes probar las verduras. Están muy blandas y horribles. El salmón con papas es muy saludable. Pídelo. Pero, las papas no están sabrosas y no están perfectas. Por lo tanto, ve al Applebee’s si quieres esperar para un tiempo largo a comer tu comida. Sin embargo, ven aquí asimismo si quieres comer comida buenísima que sirve en porciones grandes.

This place is way too big for its own good. Always guaranteed a table in the dining area, it’s the bar area that fills up quickly. And why wouldn’t it? The happy hour is BOMB.
Half-​priced appetizers and cheap drinks? I’m in! Definitely give the «cranium sized» Long Island Iced Tea a try… it’s only $ 6! All of the apps are solid choices. The quesadilla, boneless wings, and spin dip are at the top of the list. The mini tacos were just meh.
The service is decent considering its a one person show behind a fairly long bar. Sports games are played on the various TV’s and you can request a wireless speaker contraption to be placed where you’re sitting if you’d like to actually hear the play by play. The music is always blasting and the song selection definitely covers a wide range of tastes.
My boyfriend and I always incorporate this into our shopping trek to Marshals and Target next door. I mean, you definitely shouldn’t go shopping when you’re hungry and a little cocktail always makes it more fun!

Better than the one on West125th. Still don’t like Apple bee’s food though.

The place looks very good. Very nice atmosphere over there. The food is delicious. Until you wait for the food, they give you free appettizers. I don’t like the thing that you have to wait too much until they bring you the food, but is worth it. All the food is delicious!

It was à little bit expensive at first but we did have a good time. I really appreciate the burger I had and all my friends too. We spent à good time before going to target xD

kay yall. I really make an effort to try and give waiters and waitresses the benefit of the doubt because I know food service is an extremely touchy profession. A mistake or two is fine given the place is packed or something, but it’s definitely not acceptable if there is barely anyone in the restaurant and the errors are stupid. Being a chain restaurant is no excuse for shitty service either.
Today I went to the aforementioned Applebees. I decided it would have been nice because I have time to kill before I have to walk my friend’s dog again. During the week I go to Harlem to walk this dog of a lady I met doing security for her apartment building. I also look after another person’s cats.
Anyway, I go to Applebees and I order a soup. I told my waitress I wasn’t quite ready to order my entrée yet, and to give me a moment. A MOMENT IS NOT 30 MINUTES! I literally looked around for my waitress and had to flag down the manager! I was really trying to avoid talking to the manager, because I’m not that cold. Other employees were actually TAKING CARE OF THEIR TABLES, so I wasn’t going to bother THEM. When I’m finally ASKED to place my order, everything was cool. So I thought.
I get my food and everything. It was good, which was nice. I was going to take the rest home, because those of you that know me, know I barely am ever able to finish anything. I’d have to be starving for 3 days to eat something in one sitting. I ended up going to the bathroom, and when I got back, my food was gone! I was gone for like 5 minutes!!! I still had most of my deliciously bloody steak left. I felt myself die on the inside.
They remade my steak. It was smaller than the one I originally received. It was also WELL. WELL! My first one was practically still alive, for Pete’s sake. How could a redo be messed up? Wait. I know: the waitress that put in the order for the redo didn’t know my order was originally rare, because she wasn’t the one that took my order. HER MANAGER WAS, and of course, you all know, he took my order BECAUSE SHE WAITED A HALF AN HOUR TO ASK ME IF I WAS READY TO ORDER!
At this point I was just ready to fucking go. The manager tried to give me a dessert, remake the food, whatever. I was not having it. He comped me half of the bill. But it doesn’t even matter because I’m still hungry. Worst experience at a restaurant to date.
TL;DR DO NOT GO TO THIS APPLEBEES!!!

I love applebee’s green beans, drinks, food etc etc. the food is good here but the service sucks. i sat at the bar for the special, it’s late night on a Tuesday, barely any customers and I was ignored by the bartender for another water n to pay the bill

First of all I am a regular Applebee customer. It is usually a safe bet when you get to a new place. In this case I love the approach they have taken with the building to make it sustainable including the big wall garden that fills one of the walls in the seating area. That being said the food quality was not as good as I have come to expect from the chain. It was overcooked and generally fell flat. Hopefully it was a one time problem. On the other hand they did hold on to my wallet and credit card when I walked out without both. 5 stars for sustainability and service and 2 for food equals 3 stars this time.

Came here this weekend and everything was great so we decided to come back to this location the second time. I had the steak the first time and ordered an medium and the steak was perfect. The second time we came back and ordered a medium steak again, the food came out and the steak was medium well with a really burnt bottom so we told the waitress only to have the manager and the waitress to argue back saying it was a medium steak. I’ve always had a medium steak for years and never have I had such a burnt «medium». Clearly they don’t know their meat and to have the manager to try to convince me that it was what I ordered was beyond distasteful and very unprofessional especially for a manager. Applebee’s need to step up their game especially their staff and management.

This Applebee’s is the go to lunch after shopping. I like the new menu especially the Maple Bacon Chicken Piadini! The chicken was so moist and tender. The sweet potato fries hit the spot. I will get this dish again.
My daughter had the fish and chips. She loved the cole slaw on the side. When she says she would order that again I know it was good!
We had the nicest server Amanda D. She remembers us from the last visit. She even remembered my last order. They are good about my allergies and the food prepared just right.
The location is convenient, clean, and a welcome happy atmosphere. They open early at 11 AM.
We will definitely keep this as our go to lunch place when shopping at East 117 Street!

My experience was above average. I would go again for happy hour and apps. Food is okay if u looking for a decent meal with good portions and for the price is cool. The service could get worked on but it all depends who is on the shift. The bar back seemed uninterested and quick to pickup the plate.

This place is falling off me and my wife order and ask for lemons in or water and it took 30min just to get lemons and we was the only one’s in the restaurant not only that but it took another 30 min to get our food and of course my plate was missing. 20 min after that when everyone finish eating come to find out the waitress never place my order after the fact that she read it back to us when we order and wrote it down so how can u make a mistake like that so i decide not to eat here. So i went harleys

You ever have one of those moments where you wish you would have read the reviews prior? Yep thats where I went wrong.
This location is DISGUSTING. I am not just saying that because it left me with a sour taste in my mouth but the table they sat us at had a long curly brown hair stuck in something on the table! (I took a pic and uploaded it)
We arrived to this location about two hours before they closed so the restaurant wasn’t busy at all but for some reason we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. We asked for a booth, got a table instead. No big deal but literally only 4 tables in the restaurant were being used.
Our waitress finally came to the table after we were seated for 10 minutes asking what do you want to order. Felt as if she were rushing us. My party order a 3 beers. We received those again 10 minutes after we ordered them. Once the waitress came back to the table we were ready to order our food. There were 3 people in my party so we ordered the 2 for $ 20. It consisted of a spinach artichoke dip and 2 chicken wraps. The spinach dip took about 30 minutes to prepare, saying that they were baking fresh chips. Ok that’s fine if they ran out of chips and had to make more. We had the dip for about 5 minutes when our wraps came out, cheese not melted of course. Finally came the time to reorder beer, well you know where I’m going with this.
Moral of the story, READ REVIEWS BEFORE DINING ANYWHERE!
