I was a new student of the territory of design, and I had never taken any official art classes before I came to Ashcan Studio. After three months working in the studio with all the help that I could get, I got accepted to School of Visual Art. I think if it weren’t for the professional teachers here, I wouldn’t be ready to go to an art school in such a short time. I highly recommend Ashcan Studio for students who want to go to art schools in NYC! It is REALLY helpful!!!

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY
I was desperately looking to get help with my portfolio for FIT and Ashcan was the perfect place for it. I had no drawing or sewing skills prior to coming here but after taking a few classes I’ve improved drastically in both of these areas. They helped me through each step of the way and made sure my portfolio was finished on time. I can honestly say that coming to Ashcan was probably the best decision I made in life!
