I came back for lunch and had the malaysian beef. The food wasn’t bad and pleasantly good. The beef was tender and the curry was great. Free Thai Ice tea with check in. I might have to come back to this place since all the places here are closing up.

We ordered lunch for the office at 12:05 the food came at 1:20 this would not have been bad if the food was edible. The chicken was burnt and fatty the lo mein noodles were over cooked and the meat and vegetables were under cooked(not a good combination). The lunch meals came with soup I cant review the soup because it never came. We wound up going to a corner hot dog cart and got pretzels and kinishes these I give 5 stars. To sum things up I would not feed this to my dog if he was starving!

In such a competitive area this place is usually overlooked. But it is a small gem in the area that people should give a try. Their dumplings are filling, the miss soup heart warming and all day happy hour you honestly cannot go wrong with that. The waitress was very kindly and attentive. Great customer service and will be back soon.

Be aware, this store faked the tip I wrote on the receipt. Which I considered it as fraud. Service is ok, food is horrible as in my previous post. But to me they faking my tip amount is even more serious, I wish I could leave negative star rating.

First time here and was not disappointed. The Beef Pad Thai was delicious! Good service and very reasonable prices. Will definitely return!

Quality northern china style cuisine in midtown! Ibhad the cumin lamb pulled noodle and meat sauce nooodles and they wwre rreally authentic. I also love the fact that they give you the spicy oil on the side in case you cant handle it! Great to know theres such an authentic gem in the garment district! Oh yeah theyre also on seamless ;)

I order a NS3 noodle soup, has the traditional sliced braised pork. it was delicious! I mean the take out packaging need some work, cus half of my soup was gone by the time i made it back to the office. Invest in card boards is a great idea for asian food since there are a lot of soup involve. The flavor was good. I would love to eat there but that LIGHT inside’s got to go… you can really see well at all. Whoever came with the design idea needs help seriously! but I can tell by the flavor, ppl who enjoys traditional Chinese would appreciate this place. The thick noodle is really chewy, i think it’s made in-house but i think yall should try it yourself. Next time I would love to try the #5 Steamed Bun sandwich. That pork is pretty good.

After ordering lunch from here for more than 3 times and each time I picked something different from the menu, I think I can finally give it a fair review, which is «please take your money and go somewhere else.» Period. I really want to love this place because they have so much things I like which are hard to find at that area, things like phở, 麻辣燙(kind like spicy hot pot but in 1 ppl portion) and 水煮魚(fish filet cooked in spicy broth). However, I was disappointed every time. Nothing tastes good, the food was just bland and hard to swallow. The phở is a joke, it doesn’t look like phở, it doesn’t taste like phở either, it is a huge disappointment. I really hope they can improve the taste of food, otherwise I doubt they will be able to survive in this highly competitive area.

The place is clean and the people who work there are very attentive and nice. Food wise I ordered the Viet Phở noodles and was happy that they offered a free Thai Ice tea deal. The Ice tea was very sweet and tasted of a powdered variety. The Phở was bland — The soup was watery and all the sliced beef was fully cooked already. I had to add in a lot of hot sauce and hoisin sauce to cover up the blandness. However, even with much added spice and sweetness, it still couldn’t save it because there wasn’t enough savoriness in the soup to tie all the flavor together. I wish they spend more love and care into their cooking as they do with their service. It could really be something more.

Only want to give half star, potato has a bad black dot, around 1 cm, egg overcooked and the eggshell stay inside!

Based on one visit, I can’t go more than three stars — which may be a stretch. Place is neat and clean. Better than a take-out joint. Server at lunch was nice enough. Prices are cheap. A big plus is that they have a decent selection of bottled beer at $ 3.50. Food quality was a mixed bag. The hot and sour soup was good, on the spicy side but OK for me. The General Tso chicken was a big disappointment. Heavy batter, absolutely hammered in the fryer, pieces are all small so everything was over-cooked.

This place is really good! The owners are very nice and very attentive and the food is delicious. I had the Mango Chicken and it actually had grilled mangos which added to the flavor!! we also got the Free Thai Tea since we checked in and omg! That tea is delicious!!! This place is awesome!

I came here for lunch today after the only craving for pad Thai and I was so disappointed. For $ 11 I got the chicken pad Thai and since I checked in, I received the free iced tea. I’m almost positive it was was just a melted creamsicle in a cup. It was way too sweet, a few sips and I was done. The pad Thai tasted more like typical Americanized Chinese than actual Thai food. The chicken was dry and barely had any flavor, a few scallions were thrown in but no sign of peanut, garlic or lime. Excellent customer service, but the place was almost completely empty when I came in so I should of taken that as a sign. Most likely won’t be returning anytime soon.

This place is a true bargain. The Pad Thai is very fresh and wonderful, but bit overcooked. The har gows were wonderful. I need to try some other dishes to get a true experience.

Used a Unilocal coupon here and got the chicken satay, spring rolls, and iced coffee. The iced coffee was really sweet(just the way I like it!) and the spring rolls were good, but the chicken satay was not that great… They smelled awesome and the peanut sauce was yummy but the chicken was dry and not flavorful. Service was great though. I’d be willing to give this place another shot if I’m ever in the area and craving Asian food.

$ 9 for red curry chicken lunch special takeout. ‘Twas okay. Just enough spice. Counter lady could be a little more friendly.

The Banh Mi was solid, but not mind blowing. It’s worth checking out if you work in the area. I would try it again. I got a weird vibe from the place, but it had an «A» health grade. «Asian Time Eatery» is a divey restaurant with decent food.

Fantastic new Asian restaurant! interior is modest, clean. Food was seriously good. I had the special Bahn Mi sandwich, pork, pickled veggies, fresh herbs, good dressing, fresh crispy french bread, two huge half with succulent strips of tender pork for $ 6.50? Awesome. I also had the Chinese coconut cream bun, but to be honest, it’s still in my bag, looked great though, as good as you’d find in Chinatown bakeries, and it looks like they do a good deal of baking on premesis. I plan to return, that sandwich was a stand out. The only drawback was, drinks were prohibitively expensive, small Poland spring for $ 1.60, can soda same price? All over the neighborhood those two drinks are $ 1. I guess this is why you get an awesome Bahn Mi for $ 6.50

This is a lunch time spot for everyone in the area. Its a new establishment and has a nice area to soy and enjoy your meal. This is pretty much a grab and go place, but the seating is nice and relatively comfortable. The restaurant is set up like any other Chinese take out place, but they serve beer and have nice big TV screens with their menu. I had the red chicken curry, which was very flavorful but in my opinion just a bit, not enough. Maybe ordering extra rice would have done the trick. My companions had the lemon grass chicken and grilled pork chop lunch specials and they looked more heartier with even more rice and meat. Flavor was good, just like I said, wish I had more food.
