Bouncer rejected my boyfriend’s ID and my own without even looking at them, we’re both 22. It’s obvious that this is a bar that only wants certain types so steer clear if you’re LGBTQ or not an attractive female.

Was denied entry because the bouncer thought my ID was fake. Im 22 years old and I even presented the most valid form of identification ever; my PASSPORT. The bouncer proceeded to yell at me and tell me to «get out of his line». He didn’t even look at my passport for 2 seconds, pretty sure he didn’t see my photo and automatically assumed it was fake. I don’t know how my passport could be fake. But this is ridiculous. I’m definitely spreading the word. I don’t think people deserve to get treated like literal trash if they’ve done nothing to deserve so.

Cinco de mayo madness on a Thursday, first time coming here took 30 minutes to get two margaritas and two shots, only 3 bartenders but 2 were doing most of the work. Bathrooms didn’t really close, no locks so hold the door and pee the front was crowded the back where they opened up the floor for people to dance was cool, DJ had lots of weird mixes but its cool, people are diverse age group probably 20 – 30 I would say I didn’t see anyone that was older. The floors when we got there were slippery, later on it just became so sticky from the drinks being spilled. There was almost a fight that broke out in the middle of the floor but they handled it. For two margaritas and tequila house shots $ 20, Hawaiian blue shots $ 4(tube) definitely would have spent more if I knew I didn’t have to wait another 30 minutes for drinks. I will go back to see how it is on Fridays and Saturdays

Never one to talk BS but this bar lost my ID and my debit card, had me go there twice to get it just to tell me they lost it. So unprofessional.

Dirty. Sketchy. Got my wallet stolen. I left it out of my sight for 1 minute and it got stolen. I actually saw the guys that took it, they were just too quick for me to react. Went to talk to the bouncer that was rude to say: «it is your fault. Your wallet didn’t get stolen, you lost it, you shouldn’t have left it out of your sight». Did not feel safe at all in this bar. Will never go back.

The bartender made my friend a drink. He set it on the bar and it spilled immediately. She never touched it as I, and everyone around, saw and verified. He argued with her before begrudgingly voiding the beverage and then refused her tip saying«I don’t want your money.» I was just shocked at how rude he was. I’ve bartended and would have never responded to that situation the way he did.

Have been to this bar quite a few times over the past few years. They have excellent happy hour specials, including $ 9 pitchers of bud light. Trivia on Thursday nights is always fun. Highly recommend this fun dive in the east village!

Not a fan of dive bars. Everything from walking into the place, touching anything skeeves me out because it’s all old and dingy. No offense. However, girls night out and somewhere along the evening. We ended up here… I’m kind of glad I wasn’t sober entering this place. Otherwise I would have been so uncomfortable and uneasy… Low and behold. I had an amazing time! Surprisingly this place was jammed pack from the front throughout the entire back area. Place played some pretty good tunes. Dance floor w/the girls. No f boys allowed. Ta — da Although. There was this I guess bootlegged /boogie looking bottles only table seating that was sectioned off in the back w/a rope. Not that serious, not that or no where near exclusive, not that special. However, this bouncer just had this issue w/a girlfriend of mine. Place is packed. She was by it but nowhere were bumping into the«rope» or anything and he kept giving her a hard time. Let’s be serious here. Your job isn’t that important in a place like that. Especially if they have you sectioning a small section off. Take it down a notch. Be nice. Not a jerk because your bored w/nothing to do. Cons: — Stay away from the bootlegged section. Don’t go near the ropes. Bouncer may give you a hard time just standing 10 ft away from it. — It is so hot in there, I had to take a few items off. No ventilation. No air. I would hate to know what it’s like in there during the summer. I don’t think I want to know. Service was long. It’s a given is was a Friday evening. & restrooms where like the size of a shoe box. Gross. I would have given this place an additional star or two but no. Not when your treating someone like that especially a girlfriend of mine. Two stars!

Went here with a few friends because it was the registration location for the bar crawl on 2⁄13. The place is okay for a bar — kind of dark. The seating areas were taken with a few people standing, but it wasn’t crowded at all. Me and friends decided to take the booth in the back, but it wasn’t cleaned up. It had some liquid on the table and on the couch. We had to clean it ourselves. So, they can definitely step up their game in that area. We decided to order drinks that weren’t the specialties for the bar crawl, since we thought it was more safe to stick to what we knew. We had the Rum and Coke and Rum and Ginger Ale. It was good, but it’s your standard rum and coke and rum and ginger ale. The place is okay, but there was really nothing outstanding. I probably won’t be coming back.

I’d been told by a couple Minnesotans that this was THE place to watch MN sports, so we called ahead to make sure they were going to be playing the Wild game…“Oh yeah, absolutely!” Is what we were told. Needless to say, we showed up and they didn’t even have the channel that the game was on. But don’t worry, they still charged us for the beer they poured while they were checking to see if they could find the game. As a Minnesotan who frequents NY, I won’t be attempting to watch any games here in the future, or recommending it to any other MN sports fans.

This is one of those dark dingy bars in the East Village that you go to get cheap drinks… there seems to be a dance floor in the back but there wasn’t anyone dancing. The crowd is typical easy village. When we came in at like 10pm it was pretty empty. The front area has a few tables, and the back has booths… all were filled but then no one was standing. Nooooooooooooooooooot great…

Bar None is the bottom of Dive bars. You can definetly find fun dive bars in NYC especially nearby union square. And then theres Bar None… We came during Happy Hour, asked what drinks were on the HH. The bartender was probably new, she had to ask the manager. Manager came out, and told us and then left us the new bartender again. I asked for a Vodka soda, and she asked me how to make that. I have no problem with new trainees or employees, but don’t leave your NEW employee guarding the bar herself! Music was old hip hop and rnb. The back is just a big empty space, I think they intend that area for a ‘dance’ area

This is a continuation from earlier at the Japanese restaurant not too far away. So now, some people drop off and say their goodbyes but the warriors are left to their own devices… so here we stand or fall. Let’s just say, this is a classic dive bar. All the cheap shots and beer you need to gather a young crowd(Wait, but what am I doing here? Oh yeah, warrior!) the crowd was mostly young, mostly drunk, and mostly dancing. Our server was really nice, I should have asked her name but was too busy ordering shots, anyway, she was great. I’ll just call her fireball. The music was good and loud. Of course I’m hanging with the coolest crowd of all, and talk about dance, they were awesome! Honestly, it was a lot of fun. We were in the back room which is a separate experience from the front all together. Anyway, the point is: fun bar, good dancing, cheap shots, nice staff. There, I made my point.

Bartenders are great! Liisa and James are my favorite, go visit them. My coworkers and I wanted to go out, so we did two nights in a row and let’s just say they totally welcomed me to NY! The 2 nights I came here– were crowded, so I’m assuming it’s a hip place. In the back of the establishment, is karaōke and the dance floor. I danced my butt off– especially when they played west coast tunes(I had to represent my native state). Drinks are reasonably priced, staff are friendly, bathrooms are decently clean. Over all great place. Recommend completely.

This is the definition of a dive bar. They have awesome various specials throughout the week. I went on a Friday, and the specials there were $ 4 well drinks(until 8!) and they had $ 9 pitchers of bud light until 10! An awesome find for somewhere near Union Square. Service is pretty good, the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to check out the back area, because they were having a speed dating area, but there is a lot of space in the front to sit, talk and mingle. Definitely a great place to check out, and pregame for a later party. Would come back.

Came here with my dining companions for a cpl drinks one Sunday after a dim sum outing in Chinatown. The chalkboard deals were pretty good. The have all day happy hour and offered $ 4 house drinks, $ 12 beer pitchers and featured alcohols for some decent priced shots. We sat at the bar and took turns paying for rounds. We got into a discussion of The Walking Dead and the bartender chimed in. I have to say that I respected his storyline theories and love the fact that he joined into the convo like he was one of the gang. He even hooked us up with a round after my friend’s fiancé reminded him to pay his meter. Pretty cool guy. We sat for longer than expected and had a good time. The bill was next to nothing so, of course, we tipped well to correspond with the service. Definitely penning Bar None as a downtown hit em up spot…

Great Ohio State bar in NYC. But after 10pm, the game sound goes off because it turns into a nightclub. Bats like this should really make their mind what they want to be

Visited with a friend bc I saw it was an inexpensive bar in the area I was in. I got an angry orchard on draft– very cold-(I make a comment on this Bc I’ve been to bars where there draft beers are room temp). It was decorated for halloween and there was a football game playing. I’m not a football fan so it wasn’t my vibe persay. But I’m sure this is a great bar to be at during bar crawls, I saw they did trivia nights which I might come back and do one day. I’ll be back here when baseball season starts again — looks like a fun bar to go to!

We came here because my boyfriend is a Saint’s fan. The BACK of the bar is a Saints bar, but the front is a Vikings bar(why???). There are no seats in the Saints section so most people just stood. There is a projection TV and the image was all fuzzy and choppy. I spent most of my time in the front watching the Patriots game and sitting. Waitress was slow to come around to the back so I would suggest ordering a lot the first round. Very young crowd. Some guy was trying to skateboard, drunk, indoors. And almost fell in my lap. I’m definitely getting old because it annoyed me almost as much as Jimmy Garoppolo did.
