Very annoyed, $ 13 for the tiniest portion, I had to go and buy something after. It was tasty, but I feel so ripped off.

Amazing ! Nice service and best pork buns in town. In chinatown, this place is truly a sweet diamond in the rough.

Loved the place! I had very low expectation as I stopped with my two kids while visiting chinatown but was very surprised in every way. Tiny restaurant, with delicious food, lovely staff and very well priced. I ordered the spicy orange chicken for me and the vegetable lo mein for the kids. My orange chicken was mildly spiced as I asked for it to be and the kids lo mein was delicious too. The staff interacted with my children, taught them some chinese words and were very attentive.

Really really really good and really really cheap. Would definitely recommend. Had the braised beef noodles and braised pork ribs. Also steamed pork buns. Huge servings, and amazing service by the staff.

I was stuck between 3 stars and 4 stars so I decided to round up. First, service is pretty lackluster. We came in around 1.5 hours before closing time and there was only 3 other tables occupied with 1 paying their bill. We were given menus and basically left there for the next 15 minutes. No water, no tea, no one came by to ask if we were ready to order. Womp. Their food is pretty good — a bit pricey for Chinatown but it’s technically in Little Italy? The pan-fried dumplings were super juicy on the inside, which I love. The tomato paste + meat sauce«spaghetti» hit the spot on a rainy day. We finished up with the black sesame balls, which were really good. I think the sesame balls were the reason I rounded up! They do a lunch special and a per person combo for dinner. They also do stamp cards for lunch — buy 12 and get the 13th free?

This place was awesome!!! Décor was nice NOT a dive but not a super fancy restaurant either. As a Chinese American I love Chinese food and frequent Chinese restaurants in all the Chinatowns in NYC. I had the lamb kabob, which was succulent and full of meat. It was better than the BBQ kabobs you get off the streets in Flushing. The only disappointment was that it only came with 2 skewers. Next I tried the Chili Dumplings and Fried Dumplings. The skin was fresh, the meat, even fresher. I was quite surprised with the quality and was pleasantly surprised. These Northerners knew how to make dumplings although the spicy dumplings could have been a tad more spicier!!! Next I had spare ribs. They came out all cutely wrapped in tin foil. These were also succulent and quite tasty. It came with 8 or so. Lastly was the pork fried rice. Pork tasted fresh and the rice had the perfect sautéed fried rice taste. Wasn’t disappointed, I will definitely be coming back here and I’m sure this place will the favorite of many!!!

Very authentic Beijing food, more so than other places I’ve tried in Manhattan and thus different from your typical Chinese food(in a good way). Cheap too. Recommend the pork buns, pan fried dumplings, lamb kebobs, and kung pao chicken. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, made it that much better.

Came here at approximately Wednesday at lunch, a little after the lunchtime surge had died down. This place has a lot of things on the menu that are really authentic. I know the word«authentic» gets thrown around a lot, but the place is fairly good in it’s portrayal of a lot of Beijing foods. The Kung pao chicken, the dumplings and the vegetables are all fairly good, and reflective of authenticity. I would generally say that the food here is only worth three stars, but this place’s redeeming feature is definitely the lunch special– if you drop by here between 11 and 3 during lunch, you can get a lunch box to go(or to stay, if you want to pay tip) for only $ 5.00 dollars. The food is honestly decent, as are the servers. Overall, a breath of fresh air in the otherwise overpriced little italy

I had my reservations about this place, given the location and the ambience. But the boyfriend wanted to try, so let’s go There is seating inside and outside but we opted for inside seating. We were looking mainly for appetizers; we got Cold noodles with chili sauce Pancake roll with spicy shredded beef Pan fried pork buns The cold noodles were a little bland and I feel like it was lacking a lot of flavors that generally comes when ordering cold noodles. The portion was decent and we shared it with no issue. I did end up adding some of that vinegar to my noodles and it tasted better lol The pancake role was a little disappointing, the pancake itself was great very flaky and crunchy. However I was surprised with the filling, it was more like a beef and bell pepper dish and they had rolled it up and called it a new dish. Don’t get me wrong! It was piping hot and delicious nonetheless but I had a different expectation when it came to SPICY shredded beef, not something like an entrée. I also got a big bite of ginger in my cut for the first bite :(. This dish though, you might not wanna share. The pan fried buns were probably the best item out of the three. It came hot and steamy, a tad bit oily. There is fatty soup inside the bun and the pork filling itself was tender and flavorful. Mixed with the vinegar and you’re all set! I won’t come back because I feel like I could get something similar elsewhere and cheaper but definitely changed my earlier prospective of the place.

3.5 Stars The food tastes pretty good, though it’s veering towards the heavier side. There’s also a bit of grease.

Have ordered the same lunch special twice Spicy lotus root with black bean sauce The price is less than $ 5 and you get an egg drop soup They do not offer brown rice ordered egg rolls — were super greasy and would not order again The lotus dish is superb and I would give it 4 or 5 stars Waiters are attentive and service is fast reduced to 3 stars only because of the lack of brown rice option, the insipid egg drop soup and greasy spring rolls

I’m really grateful this place opened in Chinatown. After eating almost every single Chinese restaurant in Chinatown, this place is refreshing. The place is clean. Unlike most Chinese restaurant, the seating is spacious. The high ceiling definitely helped. We ordered mix of kabob, pancakes, dumplings, friend chicken. The food is average to good. We had a large group close to 10 people, took almost half of the place. Service was decent. It’s still in Chinatown, so don’t expect the servers speak perfect English.

Don’t waste your time on any other restaurant in china town! This place is amazing and so affordable. The lunch specials here are so cheap and delicious. For lunch $ 5 will get you a protein(chicken, meat), side rice and side soup. The place is packed during lunch but the service is fast and accurate. The bathrooms are tiny but clean which is a huge plus for me. If you’re in the area give it a try!

Nice location directly in little Italy and opportunity to sit outside. Very cheap and delicious food, we had the pan fried dumplings and chicken skewers as appetizers(both very oily, but what to you expect when ordering something fried) and fried rice with veggie and egg and peanut shrimp(spicy!) as main dish — the main dishes go very well together when sharing. The overall bill was 30 $ and something, so cheap! Definitely worth a visit, we’ll come again.

Awesome authentic Beijing food. The lamb skewers were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Not dry. The pork rib noodle was full of flavor and just the right size. The pancake roll with spicy beef was flaky and right amount of sauce. The Beijing Style dry noodle was different than most I had. One can taste the cumin in there, just like in Beijing. This is a great find in the heart of little Italy. Service is very pleasant and helpful. Thank you!

Good food, good atmosphere, good service. I don’t know maybe it’s me but it wasn’t worth $ 30. Do Try it though.
