My experience here was horrible, absolutely a waste of money and time.
I came here for a full makeup and eyelash application session. I told the makeup artist it was for a daytime photo shoot session with my baby so I wanted a natural look. Whatever happened afterwards was beyond my imagination. It went wrong in every single way to the point that when she finished I totally looked like a monkey or a clown in the circus:
— my eyebrows were drawn twice as long as mine to the point that they ended at the side of my eyes curving down ridiculously
— instead of natural looking eyeshadow, she put a big chunk of purple-​ish eyeshadow at the corners of my eyes, that weren’t blended into my eyelids area so they looked like two big purple dots above my eyes
— she put on half-​inch long faux eyelashes which made me look ridiculous without asking if the length worked and tried to tell me I looked fine. I asked for shorter ones but she claimed they didn’t have them (only at the end when it was too late did she realize they did). So I decided not to have the eyelashes at all (which costs $ ¹⁵⁄₂₂ something full price?). Then she wouldn’t even clean off the leftover black/​grey glue and was going to just leave the majority of it on my eyelids. I had to politely point out to her that my eyelids looked messy and if there is anything she can do to fix it. After I scratched off the glue myself my eyeshadow was all messed up and I had to ask her to fix it because she clearly wasn’t going to do anything unless I spoke up.
–she put on lots of foundation and the brushes left hairs on my face. I pointed this out multiple times because she wasn’t paying attention and was just leaving the brush hairs stuck there.
–she claimed she put mascara on, but hadn’t done my right one! After I asked she did it but it was full of clumps and looked horrible.
–at the end, she still couldn’t do my eyebrows right and asked if I just wanted to do them myself. At this point my poor husband had been driving around for an extra 30 minutes with our screaming 4 month old in the car because I was done so much later than I was supposed to be, so I just left.
I was so traumatized that I went to a nice place at Le Parker Meridien but got a ghetto look that fits me right in the Bronx. I went home and did the eyebrows myself, fixed my eyeshadows and put on mascara and blush.
In summary, maybe it was just my makeup person, but would you want to take the chance of getting her?

I was there yesterday evening getting my hair blown out at the drybar and noticed this place across the hall. What better way to dress up for an evening out in New York City with my boyfriend so we decided to head over and get my make up and our eyebrows shaped. The two women working were super friendly from the moment we walked through the door! Unlike the drybar everyone seemed miserable. From our eyebrows to my make up everything was on point and I felt amazing walking out looking fabulous. I am giving 5 stars for the customer service they really made us feel like customers and welcoming. The make up was beautifully done and she listened to me on how I like to look and even showed me little tips on make up. They really made my boyfriend feel welcomed while he waited for me. Thank you for an enjoyable time! I recommend going here and would come back next time I’m in town for date night again! Thank you again.

I got my makeup done by Paige, who is not only a brilliant artist but has a great sense of humor and is very sweet. She showed me tips for eyeliner, mascara, contouring and blushing, and knew the best look for my face shape and skin tone. She moisturized very well and was sure to ask what I wanted, while offering her expert advice. I would highly recommend her!

I stayed at Le Parker Meridien this past weekend and received a complimentary eyelash application coupon with my key card (can they do this at every hotel??). I made a same-​day appointment for a full face and eyelash application.
My makeup artist, I believe her name was Ariana, was so friendly and knowledgeable. This was my first time having my makeup professionally done and I’m so glad she did it! She really took the time to explain the process and work with me to get exactly what I wanted. The full face application was $ 54 and I received 20% for checking in on Unilocal!
The salon itself was adorable and modern. I wish I could get ready there every morning!
I’m so sad that they don’t have a place like this in Cleveland :(

This place is absolutely adorable— customer service is outstanding, cute décor, mimosas upon arrival, and a professional lookbook with a variety of makeup options to choose from. I absolutely loved my artist– was fun to talk to, experienced, and I received so many compliments from my makeup that night and the next day. Blushington really is a breath of fresh air…

i was here about a month or two for my eyebrow wax
seems like new place so i decided to give it a try and help their business .
i walked in, there was couple of people at the place, said hi to me without any smily face.
the girl at the desk (african american) did not care at all why im here for.
she was kept looking at the computer.
so i had to looked for myself to ask how much is for eyebrow wax.
i found one, she was cleaning her station. i asked about the price.
she said $ 15.
we walked up to the desk and she told the desk girl that i wanted eyebrow way.
she handed to me a paper with 1 000 000 of question. fine
soon after i field that out, this girl (with tons of make up on her face)
came up to me. i set her station. she asked me how i want. i said just clean them up.
she used about 6 wood sticks to clean them. ok. thats cool.
i trusted her. so i got up as soon as i was done.
went to the desk to pay, she said its $ 30 and plus tax. dont remember exact number.
told her oh i have told its $ 15? she said no thats for tweezing. (of course no facial express this girl)
ok fine. i paid, i dont know what was going on there but they took FOREVER to give my changes. so i decided to walk around see the products.
soon i looked myself closer, i noticed that there is a hair everywhere around my eyebrow .
it didnt seem cleaned up AT ALL. so i went back to the girl who did my eyebrow, told her
if she can just tweeze the THICK one. (from the eyebrow she just CLEANED… omg.)
she just tweezed only that hair and did not seem to care others .
i just didnt want to deal with it. she should have known better what she was doing.
you want to waste of your time and money, this is the perfect place for you.
im just going to back to my asian lady around the conner by my house.
she dose wax for $ 10
guess what, she even dose tweeze if she needed or i wanted (bc she is not lazy or she is passionate about her job) without any extra.
all that im done in 5 min.
i have no clue about this place but good luck

I recently had an engagement party to attend so my mother, sister and I went here to have our makeup done and all three of us has wonderful sessions. There is a lookbook for you to pick out your preferred style, but I was able to tweak it with my makeup artists and make adjustments based on my preferences and the color of my dress. They will give you as much or as little make up as you want which I really like. We all ended up with very different looks and amounts of makeup, but were all happy with what we received.
My makeup artist was Neah and she did a great job of picking out colors that worked really well for me, which is something I always struggle with. I didn’t know they sold products there until I went to take a picture of some of them so I could order them online and she told me she’d «grab it from the back». I clearly didn’t read the fine print on the website that said they offered this service, so this was a double bonus for me, because I was able to use the products immediately and touch up my lipstick throughout the evening. The product prices were similar to other makeup stores.
My makeup lasted all evening and into the next day, which was amazing. I would recommend this to others and will be going back for my own wedding in the next few months.
