The restaurant décor is oriental and creates a welcoming feel. Good customer service, as well. However, when the food is mediocre compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.

Just a friendly reminder, if you are hungry or if you want authentic phở, this might not be your best choice. Another side note, they charged 20% tips for lunch. I do not mind paying 20%, it is just restaurant usually wouldn’t charge service fee on check for party of 3, and lunch should not be 20%. It just feels odd.

I was pretty excited when I found a place near my workplace that had phở/banh mi/boba tea. My first impression was pretty good: the banh mi was a good size, albeit pricier then normal. The service is very fast and the employees are polite. For those familiar with Nam Nam in Brooklyn, I do prefer their banh mi to this place, but ere are some recommendations: –There could be more mayo –The meat could have been a bit more flavorful –I love cilantro, and it seems like others who have reviewed the banh mi agree

I ordered a spicy seafood phở and it was the worst phở I’be ever got. The portion was very small and a weird taste. It was yuk! I couldn’t finish although I was very hungry due to the long flight to ny. I waisted my time and money. DONOTGOTHERE unless you don’t mind the taste of the food. The service was good though.

Ordered a grilled chicken bahn mi for pickup to eat at the park. Quite disappointing. There were hardly any vegetables and one sad sprig of cilantro. Too much mayo. It was just a soggy grilled chicken sandwich. Get it together!

Normally when I eat at Vietnamese restaurants, the portions are larger for half the price. This place is definitely more expensive than many other Vietnamese restaurants. The portions are much smaller here, hence not very filling and I’m speaking from the perspective of a girl! Another issue is that the menu selections are very limited. Lastly, they slapped about 18% service fee to our check! It is very tacky to demand a service fee when it should be left to the discretion of your customers! I usually tip 20% but upon seeing«service fee» on our check, it left a bad taste in our mouth and a bad experience overall. Perhaps there would be more people dining here if they could change some of these dining aspects. We finished our entire dinner and we were still the only customers in the restaurant. The reason I gave 2 stars is because the food was at least decent despite how little of it there was. Afterwards, my brother and I went to another restaurant to get more food!

No star if I can select. Very bad experience here yesterday. Only two customers at busy lunchtime. Ordered one noodle(phở), too less soup could not cover noodle and the vegetables, asked a lady, looks like manager, to add a litte soup. She refused and advised need to pay $ 4. I argued that’s the restaurant’s fault and I just need a little. She said they didn’t care and that’s their policy. Wired.

This is a below-average space serving average food for excessive prices. The $ 13 lunch Chicken Phở was ok. Served elsewhere for $ 8, it was nowhere near worth the price. Unilocal showed the menu price to be $ 8, so the price needs to be updated. Eat elsewhere.

Lovely inside, i really enjoyed the décor, Around lunch time in midtown, this place was very empty. Although the place isnt expensive, there really arent big portions from what i saw. and not many appetizers or anything of that such. Their menu is kind of small and vague with items. There also are no lunch specials here(bummer). I ended up getting the veggie bun which was alright but not worth $ 5.

Good spot to pick up lunch. A fan of the Pha soups, dumplings are delicious and so are the sandwiches. I just wish they would have a program in place where they encourage customers to return and/or re-use their own containers(like ‘Just Salad’) does, and maybe provide some small incentive for that. i. e save 50c if using your own. The plastic containers for the soup are large and it’s SUCH a waste when everyone is just throwing these away. To make it worse, they’ve now started providing the liquid for the soup in a separate plastic container to where all the meat and veg are, which I don’t get the point of at all, creating yet MORE waste and damage to the environment.

Really really really wonderful noodle soup. If you’re feeling under the weather, their noodle soups will do the trick every time. And bonus, they use rice noodles in many dishes so they are gluten free. Great for lunch on a sick day!

I’ve ordered take out from this place(both walk-in and seamless) a few times now. I will say, they are quite speedy! First off, their dumplings are delicious. The phở is traditional with little msg, but the flavors could be a stronger. However, given the limited Vietnamese options in Times Square, it hits the spot and they are always friendly. Note: when ordering the bahn mi, definitely splurge for the double meat option otherwise it’ll just be a whole lot of bread.

Not authentic at all but kind of does the trick if you have a craving and are right across the street. Really not much to say about this place — the food is overpriced but not very good nor filling. On a recent visit, I noticed that the place was redone and looks a little more upscale with their dine in seating — quality of food, however, remains unchanged.

Best phở! Flavors are so good and portions are big! I recommend sitting down to eat because each table is equipped with a bottle of Sriracha and plum sauce! The right combination of both really make the phở come together.

Looking for a reasonably priced, local, authentic, delightful restaurant near Times Square? This is it. The service is impeccably quick and pleasant, prices are great for the area, and the phở is incredible! I had the beef phở, and it came out hot and delicious. I believe the owner was waiting on me, and he was very kind and pulled out the chair for me to put my bag on. Total bill was $ 14 for phở and green tea. Very happy customer!

Convenient. Fast. Vegan options. Filling. I don’t have anything negative to say. The service was great and the veggie noodle dumpling soup was good. Not off the charts amazing but a tasty filling soup.

Strange I know I wrote a review for this place but somehow it got deleted? Why? I didn’t say anything untruthful or out of line. I eat here all the time because I work nearby and there really aren’t many other options for vietnamese food in the area. The items are overpriced for the quality and the quantity but being times square you sorta expect that. As for taste — as most of the other reviewers mentioned, it’s a bit more fusion to cater to the american tastes. For authentic — you’ll need to go to chinatown. The phở soups are different in that they use other spices and flavorings for their broth(sweeter) — not the traditional flavors of phở beef broths. The soup isn’t as hearty and they’ve been more stingy with noodle portions recently. I’ve gotten used to the flavors of their phở and don’t mind it other than the small portions. They have other selections like bahn mi — which is decent but the bread is on the thicker side. The rice bowls are pretty good — try the bbq pork with everything(onions, corn, carrots, cilantro) and hot sauce. Skip the rice congee soup — way too salty and barely any rice. They also serve a variety of snacks, desserts, and boba tea. Overall a decent spot if you’re craving vietnamese food but don’t expect traditional dishes or flavors here. Price to quality/portion size could be better.

My Review is for Delivery only this time, I haven’t been in this place yet as its a bit far and the weather isn’t really decent enough for me to talk there. The deliver was very fast, and the food was hot when delivered. Their minimum for delivery is $ 12 which is easily overcome if 2 people are ordering. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich #3 from the sandwich menu and decided to go mild on it. It was the right choice, as from what I hear they slice real jalapeños onto your sandwich if you order it hot, which is a good thing for those seeking that kick. Not for me, the mild was excellent and there was plenty of meat inside. You can see it on the photo its a huge sandwich. Their coffee is also excellent, more $ then same thing in chinatown, however what do you expect. When everyone saw my food, they ordered it the next day also and loved it.
