Love these fabulous ladies! I was welcome at the front desk by owner Borja & immediately offered a glass of wine! Safe to say she had me at hello! These ladies are all extremely talented, I asked stylist Danka for a fun, bright color & now I have awesome blue hair! Accompany with a edgy, layered cut by Borja.
5 stars all around!!!

Girls, trust Borja AND her lovely sister Danka. They are the BEST colorists in New York City. My hair never looked so good walking out of a NYC salon. They are such lovely people as well. Conveniently located in Mid town Manhattan, and are next to a parking garage. Could not be easier.

I haven’t gotten my highlights done here (though I plan on going in a couple weeks) I wanted to post a review that may be helpful for brides to be! I recently did a bridal up-​do trial with Daniela and I was just so happy with the results. I came in with some photos for inspiration and through talking with her she totally nailed exactly what I was looking for! She is so sweet and patient, just the type of person you would want to do your hair on such a special day.
Additionally, I loved the atmosphere of this salon, it’s on the second floor away from all the noisy sidewalk traffic. All the women that work there are so welcoming and friendly. Borja will definitely be a place I come after, even after the wedding!

Borja has been highlighting my hair for more than 10 years and she never misses. Other colorists I’ve been to (including plenty of expensive ones) understand highlighting technique well enough but no one can touch her work. My base color is muddy light brown, but when she’s done, it’s a buttery blond. I would put her up against any colorist anywhere. She’s simply the best.

So I read aabout Robin Narvaez… and came here with a friend to fix our eyebrows at a hefty price of $ 60 each. I was willing to spend the dough but was alarmed to hear Robin tell me I’d need 3 treatments before she could shape my eyebrows properly. Suddenly an eyebrow treatment at a cost of $ 200+ (with tip) set off the «over the budget» buzzer in my head. I ended up never making it to my 2nd appointment so sadly, Robin’s wonders didn’t take off on me. That was one pricey eyebrow session for «nothing» I guess…

Not sure why there is only one review for Borja (and it’s not for hair) — maybe because her clients like the fact that you can do last-​minute appointments with her more easily than for other salons and because most people here have been going to her for a while. Borja does baliage with these fruity wonderful smelling dyes and is awesome with dark hair (brown and black) — she’ll do exactly what you want, highlights grow out nice and naturally so you can get away without frequent touch-​ups. I haven’t been able to find anyone like her since leaving New York, and I have searched and searched!

I’ll tell you a secret because I don’t live in NYC and have to worry about booking regular appointments with her – Robin Narvaez is an eyebrow GURU. She is simply amazing. She will convince you to never let someone trim your eyebrows again. She only plucks and the results are incredible. In sum, I can’t speak for the hair services, but eyebrows at Borja can’t be beat.
