The servers and owner are extremely friendly and food is yummy! Highly recommend for a quaint dinner out with friends or Saturday night date. Fried calamari and zucchini is a must order!

I came for lunch on a weekday and were the only people in the restaurant. I was a little concerned initially, but I had no reason to be. This is a solid establishment with tasty food that is moderately priced. You do get good quality and portions. It’s a large bright restaurant and the service was superb. Dishes came out at appropriate intervals and they took away dirty plates and checked in on us regularly but not intrusively. 1. Bread: the bread was good but the dipping sauce was very good. I think it’s a tomato and olive oil based one. 2. Mushroom appetizer: this was soooo good, but I love mushrooms. These were thinly sliced nicely flavored ones. The texture is really nice. 3. Mussels: this is a huge pan that came out. The mussels were large and fresh. They were definitely not over-cooked. One of the better ones I’ve had. 4. Sirloin steak: I got mine done medium, and felt that it was fine. It was actually a bit tough despite the center being red. Not sure why. Perhaps the slab was cooked too quickly for the thickness of the steak? I can only conjecture. But it was a large piece. The veggies on the side were OK. 5. Mushroom risotto: my friend loved this, but I didn’t get to try it. 6. Ravioli: my other friend tried this and said that it was good but not amazing. 7. Tiramisu: very good! Among the better ones I’ve had. It’s pretty sweet but the cream is definitely good. I think the quality here is high for the pricing. Definitely worth a trip!

After much researching, my family and I decided to take our best friends, who are foodies and out-of-towners, to Bottega. We had a wonderful experience! From the moment we sat down, the servers were friendly and very attentive, plus they gave us some great laughs! We ordered the octopus appetizer as well as the calamari; both were cooked perfectly, very tender with a ton of flavor. The pastas were incredible; we ordered the special of the night, black ink pasta with seafood, as well as their bolognese. Their fish was fresh and cooked perfectly too; we ordered their branzino, which was delicious. The molten chocolate cake was divine and the cheese cake was very tasty. They also have a very comprehensive wine list! Bottega’s a great spot if you’re looking for somewhere lively for a big group.

All I wanted was a drink at the bar. He said the whole restaurant was closed for a private party even though there were people not in that party sitting outside. As I was walking out that party asked to sit inside at the bar and he said yes. I asked him why I couldn’t and he said«they’ve been here» even though they hadn’t even ordered drinks yet. I only wanted a drink and could have sat at the bar and would’ve been out before those other two ladies. I could have sat outside. He just kept making up excuses for turning me away and he had no reason. Why would you turn away business? I got his name, it was Anthony. The owner(I hope to God for the restaurant’s sake he isn’t) should seriously reconsider his employment since he likes to arbitrarily turn away business while blatantly contradicting himself on the absurd reasons he gave for doing so. Never again.

We always pass on our way home from Sunday service but finally had the chance to stop in. Quick service, good natured staff and fantastic food. We’re fans of the mini crab cakes. A nice green salad comes with everything. The outdoor seating was the perfect place to spend the last Sunday before we all go back to our regular work schedules!

My party of four just finished dinner at Bottega tonight(8÷24÷15) and had an excellent time. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Can’t understand some of the negative reviews seen on this App. Must reflect on the attitude of some of the reviewers. We shared the fried calamari and eggplant, the sauteed portobello mushrooms with peppers, garlic and olive oil and the squid ink pasta with crabmeat for starters and were very pleased. For entrees, I had the veal chop, and the other members of the party had the seafood pasta in white sauce, the red snapper special, and the rigatoni pasta with meat ragu. Everyone was happy. I tried the veal chop with the review of one diner in mind that what he/she received was a pounded pork chop. What I was served was a genuine veal chop one and quarter to one and a half inch thick cooked to my liking(medium) with a mushroom sauce and served over asparagus. I can only surmise that the other reviewer ordered/received the veal scaloppini instead of the veal chop. For dessert, I wanted the chocolate lava cake, but my wife wanted to share the chocolate soufflé instead. It was served with vanilla ice cream and was wuite delightful. The wine list was adequate and one can definitely find something in a moderate price range. We woukd definitely return to this restaurant again.

We visit this neighborhood spot a lot because of the consistent food and service. We typically start with the creamy burrata and heirloom tomatoes along with the crispy calamari. The bianca salad is really good. Theo orders the spaghetti with marinara and is always satisfied. I like a few dishes-Penne Integrale Alla Primavera-really fresh. Also Petto Di Pollo Al Crema Di Gorgonzola has a lot of taste. Veal Piccata is also solid. The wine list is simple and affordable. I’m always happy with the experience.

Food, drinks and service low quality. Much better Italian restaurants nearby. It started when we sat down. They only offered us bottle water. Sneaky way to have us buy a bottle. I ordered a Kettle and soda that came back to me with a lower quality vodka. When I asked for a replacement a different waiter came back and said we don’t have kettle. Couldn’t drink and they still tried to charge me for top shelf. Food was horrible. I had the caesar salad which was inedible. It tasted like they made it at 12pm and we ate at 9. For my main course I had the rigatoni bolognese. Pasta was good but the bolognese sauce wasn’t. Honestly it tasted like Chef Boyardee. All in all they don’t spend money on fresh food, try and find ways to up charge you and doesn’t match the quality of it’s competition in the area. Piece of advice: On a Saturday, night if a restaurant in nyc isn’t busy, there is something wrong. This was the case and I learned the hard way

This place has great italian food, friendly service, and very nice ambience. I went for dinner on a saturday night and didn’t have reservations. The place looked fairly full but they were able to accommodate. I wasn’t very hungry so I just ordered an entrée their salmon dish and it was perfectly cooked and amazingly juicy. I would absolutely return and try other dishes.
