Bowllin’

There’s a lot of awesome happening here: healthy brown rice bowls, lots of food for your money, super tasty, super clean, really nice staff, and generally a great vibe. Definitely an awesome addition to the NYU/​Union Square restaurant scene.

I went on a cold Friday night. I got a bulgogi rice bowl with kimchi fried rice. It came with fried egg, vegetables, and seaweed. It was really good! It felt like Korean comfort food. There are also sandwich options. I’ll definitely come back because this food is good. Not sure what else to write, really, just that this place is really solid.

Tender and fresh fish. Bulgogi also tender and yammy. I love it! Interior is cool and fancy. I would like to come more often. :-)

Came with a friend in search for quick food before our concert at Webster Hall so we went to Unilocal in hopes of finding that. My friend also needs to adhere to a gluten free diet so we decided Korean rice bowls were a great option! He got a bulgogi rice bowl that had quite a lot of things and only took a few minutes to make. I ordered a large mandoo soup which had 6 dumplings, loaded with veggies like kale, squash, and seaweed. My soup did take a bit longer (he told me it’d take about 8 minutes when I ordered) but it was piping hot and delicious. We left pretty happy and ready for our concert. It’s a nice, small place and it’s not limited to just rice bowls — there’s sandwiches and dumplings as well!
It’s a bit pricier than your typical «fast food» but it is good quality and I truly enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a good, hearty, quick option, Bowllin’s got it.

Very generous food and meat portion for the price. Nice ambience and friendly service. Flavor of food is okay, not the best Korean food but definitely fine for a quick lunch.

$ 13.07 for a tasty but overpriced, non-​filling fish rice bowl with tasty hot sauce on the side. Nice drink selection at this QSR, and beware the counter near the door is in no way tied down, so don’t lean on it. Friendly staffers let us know there were no promos for the ‘grand opening’ and no NYU discount (yet). No menus available on the web (they have an IG but don’t deem it worthy of posting apparently), and no site as of this review.

Tried it with friends for the first time. I ordered spicy pork bowl and my friends ordered basa fish bowls. The pork was tender, juicy, and flavorful. I also liked the chewy, nutty brown rice. They were very generous with the meat portion.
Good place to grab a quick meal.

It’s a great place for Lunch and Dinner. Simply delicious with great price!
I tried beef (bulgogi) and pork (jeyuek) both are like my mom’s food.
Place is also well coordinated with small tables and bar seating at Window with cozy ambiance. Worth to check out for NYU students and office around it.

Super delish and not too expensive! Also, they have an AWESOME punch card! 10^th meal is free. That is about a $ 15 value for free! Not bad in my opinion, especially if most of the food around Greenwich Village is in the $ 10-​$ 15 dollar range.
Punch card aside, the food is delicious and they give a ton of meat. You definitely get your money’s worth.

SO YUM! I had the Kimchi Fried Rice with bulgogi and I am in love. Once they are on Seamless a groove from their kitchen to my desk will be made.

Finally good Korean food around the area! I love their rice bowl. Definitely will be back to try their other menu items.

New Korean joint opened up on Waverly! Good Korean «home made» dishes made from scratch according to the owner, and it surely taste good too. Got spicy pork (Jaeyook) sandwich, they do magic putting mozzarella cheese on it and aw my. drools*just thinking about it. They also lets you try sauces which is nice. My friend got a rice bowl with bulgogi (beef) — they should call it quinoa rice bowl. nice texture that upgrades its level to the different ground. I heard a customer liking Bass so much I’m going to try Bass next time.
Clean and nice inside — fast, friendly servers. I understand it is just opened up so with our love and support I have no doubt this place will turn into a spot to go to.because. it will have draft beer soon! so excited for this coming!
FYI, Street parking is available on both sides of waverly street after 6PM

Food is decent but service is poor. I came at 1:30 on a weekday and there were two other customers in the store so it definitely wasn’t packed but I ordered a kimchi rice bowl and waited over 20 minutes for my food! When I asked the staff if they knew how long I would have to wait, they just walked into the kitchen and came out without answering my question (and then brought the food out 5 minutes later). This place is new and has a lot of potential but is lacking in both efficiency and communication to its customers.

Yay new store next to Kungfu! I got the salad with spicy sauce and bugulki and it taste simple! The service was really nice they saw me sitting and having trouble eating spicy sauce so gave me 2 other ones :) really nice of them!

This place is really quick, really efficient and most importantly delicious! I came here on Saturday and ordered the salad with beef and spicy sauce and found the bulgogi (beef) perfectly seasoned, it was very tender and paired well with the fresh, crisp greens in the salad. I also had corn soup and it was so soothing and warm and most importantly, the perfect complement to a chilly fall day.

Randomly walked in to try it out. Was fast & delicious. Rice bowls are filling and completely hit the spot & the corn chowder was awesome. Wish I tried the sandwiches.
