Drink selection is nice and the food was good. It is pricey but you expect that with it being on the park. The reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the waiter was incredibly rude about us only ordering drinks and appetizers. Not classy.

This is my favorite restaurant and bar in New York City. It’s a great location, fancy foods, and fabulous atmosphere. I came here for dinner with my family before the wedding and having dessert with my husband on the other day. Both were great! I thought it’s a little too dark for dining area, but fine. Food was pricy, but great presentation and taste. I fell in love with creamy cheese cake! It was after dinner and I wanted to have a dessert because the restaurant I went didn’t have any attractive desserts, so I came here to have a dessert and cup of coffee with my husband. It was totally fabulous experience. I never dine outside terrace, but looks very nice! I should come back for lunch or brunch when it’s sunny day.

Went with a few classmates and a professor as a celebratory dinner and it was very delightful and satisfying. We all ordered various entrees, but I ordered the charred pork chops. First, hats off to the waitress who literally knew all the little details about each entrée as we bombarded her with questions in order to finalize our order. When our orders arrived, each one of us was very happy with our decisions thanks to the help of the waitress. My charred pork chops was well-seasoned and cooked to the heat of my liking. I ordered the cheesecake for dessert and it was very light and tasty. Price is quite up there, but not a surprise as it is right in Midtown. We had outdoor seating and it definitely brought in great vibes. Only complaint would be slow service, but there was only 2 waitresses working outdoors so maybe that explains why. Hopefully that’s not a consistent occurrence, but I’ll know when I return there again!

If you like to enjoy the outdoors and watch people this is a great lunch or dinner spot. They have a restaurant and a café menu. We like to sit outside in the casual café and bar area on a sunny day like today. Food and drink options are limited and average. Go for the atmosphere.

I had been meaning to go to this place forever. I finally made a reservation to celebrate my graduation with my family. The place is lovely, the service is good and the food is AMAZING. I had the home made pasta with spicy shrimp and bolognese and it was mind blowing. My sister had the salmon and it was interesting too. The dessert was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. We had the chocolate tart with ice cream and the apple pie. Amazing. The downside: What’s up with the furniture? We sat in a round table for six, which was clearly one of those cheap rental tables for parties meant for four people but if you unfold them they become larger. The folding parts were uneven and we had our meals struggling not to splash the food in our clothes while trying to cut them. The server changed us to another table but it was no better. For such a nice place, I would expect decent tables. That is the only reason why I am not giving this place a better review. If you go there, go in groups no bigger than 4 so you don;t have to deal with the crappy tables.

My husband surprised me and made dinner reservations before a show… we went on a Monday night so it wasn’t crowded. They sat us in beautiful window seats. View of the park was beautiful. Décor was amazing inside and out. Soooo romantic!!! Food from appetizer to main course was amazing. We skipped the bread before and desert after but they all looked delish. Plan on going here again and again!!!

This is a beautiful restaurant after some time at the park. Came here for a post Bryant-park engagement brunch and it was lovely. The space itself is really pretty and makes any occasion feel kind of special. The brunch was delicious! I got the eggs benedict which were great. Really a great place for occasions/celebrations. Also good for large groups because they have a lot of big tables.

Wish we could have sat outside because the weather was beautiful, but other than that tbe food and service was speedy and delicious! The waitress was understanding of my bodybuilding diet and made sure my chicken came plain with no sauce and was willing to substitute certain vegetables. The environment was spotless and the staff was very friendly

Absolutely LOVED this place. The set up is so beautiful(inside and out), service was impeccable, and the food– amazing! We went for a business lunch. I had the crab cakes and a Kale salad– both were very impressive, and small which is what I wanted. My colleague enjoyed the tomato soup and Cesar Salad with salmon. Definintly will be back!

Came here for a company lunch before Christmas. Sat in the holiday room aka the tent. Service was okay. Waiter was nice, but kept forgetting the drink orders. Cocktails-Nothing extra special. Waiter did confuse the drinks and brought us cocktails we did not order. I didn’t think they were worth the $ 15 price tag. Wild Hibiscus flower — Sparkling wine with hibiscus flower and syrup. Anyone who prefers mimosas will like this. It was sweet tasting. I switched drinks with my coworker who didn’t like her tart champagne. Ginger snap — It was very strong and had a sharp ginger taste. I was expecting a more subtle ginger flavor. Coworkers ordered an international and summer affair and were content with it. Appetizers-some of them were large enough to be a meal. Jumbo lump blue crab and shrimp cocktail $ 19.50-Large shrimps and 3 shooter glasses of crab. It was decent. Cocktail sauce complimented the seafood well. There was a good amount of crab meat. Spicy Thai coconut seafood noodle soup with scallops, salmon, shrimp, crab meat and noodles $ 17.50 — If you’re trying to decide between appetizers, stop looking and order this. The bowl of soup was fully loaded with all of the aforementioned ingredients! Soup was savory and sweet, but not too overwhelming at the same time. There was so much seafood! The chef did not skimp on anything! If I ordered this for myself, I would have finished the entire bowl of soup! Crispy Calamari $ 13.50 — Exactly what you would expect. It came with a bit of avocado salad. Wasn’t overcooked and was a decent portion size for sharing. Daily selection of raw oysters $ 16.50/half dozen-Blue point oysters– Blue points are on the sweeter and less brimy side of the taste palate. It was pretty pricy for half a dozen as you can get them for about $ 1.25/pc in other places. Jumbo lump crab cake $ 13.50-cooked decently, not overly fried. One large piece. It was full of crab meat and came with an arugula salad. Entrees were all decently presented and delicious. Hand roll pasta with spicy shrimp bolognese and English peas $ 25– I went through a bunch of reviews and many people stated that they really enjoyed the bolognese. I thought it was delicious, but nothing really special. The pasta was good and al dente. There was a good enough kick to the sauce and plenty of shrimp in the dish. Portion size was slightly larger then what you would expect. Bryant Park Sea Grill $ 38.50 — Several of my coworker ordered this dish. If you’re hesitant about the price, order something else because that’s what you’ll be thinking about during each bite. This dish consisted of a lobster tail, large diver scallops, large shrimps, and saffron rice. For the amount of seafood in the dish, it is worth the price. There were at least 3 large seared scallops. Each ingredient was cooked perfectly. The lobster tail was split in half for ease of eating. The shrimp was large and the rice tasted buttery soft.(I ate off my my coworkers plates). Grilled Atlantic Salmon $ 28.50– Good, you can’t really mess up salmon. Decent portion size and it came with cute tiny potatoes! Pan Roasted codfish with black ink risotto $ 28.50– I tasted a bit of my coworkers risotto and thought it was good. If you like squid ink pasta, you’ll like the risotto. Desserts– I can never pass on desserts! I was seriously full from the appetizers and entrees but was able to taste a couple of the desserts. I thought the presentation was great, but I will prefer to skip dessert next time I dine at Bryant Park. NY Cheesecake with ice cream $ 10.50– It was a deconstructed cheesecake. I didn’t really like it. Chocolate Peanut Butter S’more $ 10.50– I didn’t really care for the peanut butter mouse. The honey graham cracker ice scream was tasty. Autumn festival $ 10– The applesauce spice cake was okay, but not something I would eat. I like the poached pears, they weren’t too sweet. Pumpkin mousse wasn’t memorable. Warm Chocolate tart with vanilla ice cream $ 11– I can never turn down chocolate cake. It was warm and chocolaty and with ice cream it was perfect. Deep dish apple pie $ 10.50-I just looked at the description and it states cheddar vanilla ice cream. I don’t remember a cheese taste to the ice cream. The pie was good, but I’d rather get a slice of apple pie from a bakery. Overall all of the dishes were well received by everyone on my group. Personally I do think that it was a little pricy, but then again the restaurant is located in the heart of midtown.

Came here on a Tuesday night with some friends and thought everthing was just ok. Our server was very nice and attentive. To start we ordered the burata and calamari. The calamari was not very crispy at all and tasted a little too fishy(and i love fish…). For my main I ordered the salmon which was a little overdone but pretty large portion. I did love the spaghetti squash with maple syrup that came with the salmon, super delicious !!! My friends ordered the shrimp pasta and the sea bass both said theirs was good. I just wouldnt be rushing back since there are so many other amazing restaurants in the area.

I came here one weekday for lunch, with reservations which was made shortly before arriving so I’m happy we made it in. It’s a beautiful restaurant in Byrant Park with an indoor building attracted to a page outdoor tent. It’s a nice place to dine at although its a pricy. The food was delicious, I ate it all. I had the steak frites and my friend had the Kobb salad. The drinks were good but it came in such tiny little glasses. Really? $ 13 for such small glasses of wine — so I had to get 3 glasses. Although the food and drinks was great, the customer service was terrible. We had to flag down the waiter so many times and he was slow. The dining room wasn’t packed and there were a few waiters around. That’s the reason why I’ll be giving them 3 stars.

I dined here with coworkers for our holiday lunch and overall it was a nice experience. It’s definitely a nice place to dine as the setting is perfect and the décor is lovely. I gave it 3 stars, however, because the food wasn’t as good as I was anticipating. I looked at the menu beforehand and was torn as everything sounded amazing. I decided to go with the lobster roll. It was okay. For the price I was expecting for the roll to be overflowing with lobster but there were definitely some bites where I had my roll than lobster. Then I remembered where we were and that, because of the location, you’re not going to get that much for your money. Also, they served the lobster roll with salad but no dressing and they left out the avocado(which was why decided to go for the salad in the first place). Anyway, I asked the waiter for some dressing and the avocado that was supposed to be in my salad and it was great after that. Actually, the salad became my favorite part and salvaged the rest of the meal. We had a really big group so I’m going to blame it on that. Either way, the service was good and it was a pleasant experience overall. I would go back and probably have the monkfish next time(that looked really good).

My firm does an annual holiday party here where we take over the restaurant. They do a really nice job. A standout last night was the skirtsteak. Also tried the sea bass and butternut squash ravioli… both also good. I enjoyed the passed apps as well(tuna tartare, little goat cheese stuffed dates, little sesame chicken bites, little lobster rolls(which tasted good but could have had a bitter presentation… they were little rolls Cut in half like you would cut a hamburger and laying there. Maybe stand up like little tacos next time?)). All passed apps were all perfectly bite sized which I appreciate at a work event! The place was decorated for the holidays and looked very festive. Also there is a Holiday market with stalls outside so the whole area has a nice bustle. Great location if you are entertaining commuters because it is a stones throw from grand central station.

«Mediterranean breakfast» I had this for brunch this Saturday, and they served two plates(one with mushroom frittata and another with slices of tomato, avocado, and other vegetable) and two-tier silver plates with bunch of food: ricotta cheese, cream cheese, strawberry jam, feta cheese, olives, yogurt and toasted bread. I asked our waitress, «Is this all for me? Is this so called Mediterranean breakfast?» Total four plates were served for me, and I couldn’t finish even half of them. It was just little bit of everything. Mediocre. Seriously, what is a real, authentic Mediterranean breakfast? Maybe I should ask one of my Greek co-workers tomorrow…

Bryant Park Grill was the perfect place to celebrate our first night in NYC. You can take amazing pictures in every corner, and keep yourself busy analizing that the concurrence attends for special ocassions(business, romantic dinners, birthdays, happy moments, etc). We were lucky enough to be seated by the window with the captivating view of the park and it’s surroundings. I’m going to remember that scene 4ever. We started our meal with a glass of perfectly chilled alvarinho, accompanied with the best salad I have memory of degustate. Those figs and dressing were sick. A perfect armony for your senses. I couldn’t stop eating the pasta with shrimps that the waiter adviced us to order. I felted like hugging him(ok maybe the mezcal we had before helped). I recommend it 100% The monk fish was crispy, kind of chinese battered style, but delicious as well. I hope I can go back to celebrate something else :)

We had a very wonderful waitress here who made sure we were well taken care of, I wish I could remember her name but she is the redhead who looks like Claire Danes and is an interesting person. Kudos! My BF got the eggs and lox soufflé style with asparagus. Our little one had kid’s chix fingers and fries(perfect for her!) and I had the kale salad appetizer which was tasty but too small for a meal(I erroneously ordered it as a meal… don’t do that). The environment was sooo nice, we ate outside watching the suits mix with the crazies in the park, it was a warm breezy day, great service and lovely indoors as well. The lunches being ordered all around us boasted of beautiful looking shellfish as well and next time, that is what I shall order. I like this spot. We would have preferred Sunday brunch(they have Shakshuka on the Sunday menu!) but we went on Monday. Loved the environment and staff. food was not bad at all.
