Buchbinder Ellen MD

Dr Buchbinder is an incredibly thorough, caring doctor who is at the top of her game, as well as a lovely person who really engages with patients and their lives. I trust her diagnostic skills implicitly and she has helped my kids and me through very difficult allergic times! And she will always find a time to see you when you need her. I recommend her without reservation to anyone seeking a great allergist.

Dr. Buchbinder is an expert in her field and really cares about her patients. I have been to many allergists in the NYC area and saw doctors who treated me as a number. Dr. Buchbinder on the other hand personally followed up with me and contacted my current allergist to get the full story. I would recommend her to anyone who is suffering from allergies.

I have been to countless respiratory specialists/​allergists (nerd alert!) and none have even come close to Dr. Buchbinder. She is genuinely concerned for her patients, and really spends time with you– and most importantly solves the issue. She’s also a very nice lady who truly listens to what you are telling her. I had my yearly terrible sinus infection a couple weeks ago and was prescribed exactly what I needed, and had two, yes TWO, follow up appointments to ensure that everything was cleared up. Furthermore, Dr. Buchbinder did some blood work to find out why this happens so often. What a difference from some crappy NYC clinic that shoves a z-​pak in your face and sends you on your way.
I also get weekly allergy shots at her office. Her staff is very nice, and they seem to know almost everyone who comes in by name. I was honestly just so happy to find a doctor who is 1. amazing at what she does 2. a genuinely nice person and 3. in a convenient area (right near the 86^th street subway). Awesome.
