As I’m writting this my coworker is still recUperating from hospital visit for food poisoning from their chicken fajita. We should of learned our lesson from another coworker who had HAIR with his Breakfast sandwich the day before. Seriously pay attention to other reviews, mean salad guy and breakfast guy really exists.

I work near this place. I am a regular customer coz i like the asian style stir fry. I have experiences that situation where the cashier rush the customer. I once asked one of the cashier why do they do that she replied if she is not not fast or do not take the customer fast the owner and the manager are not happy with the work they will tell the cashier that she is not working hard enough. I was shocked to learn that. I even saw the manager going the same thing, he was at the cashier once and through my credit card after using. ANDHEIS A MANAGER. One day i took my coworker there she took salad .The salad guy is nasty and full of attitude, 1 doesn’t know how to talk to customer, 2 if you ask any question he doesn’t reply, 3 when ever i am there he is always busy with his phone, 4 i went to complain the manager about that salad guy. I think the manager care less. The management must do something about the salad guy or else this place is going down SOOONNNNN

Formerly Bread and Butter and still not sure why the name change. They have everything here. None of it really mind blowing, but none of it bad either. Poorly ventilated so I would steer clear of the heavily trafficked buffet and by all means, do not eat the sushi. The Asian station is best(tasty and filing bibimbap, stir fries, and other noodle dishes).

I like this place. Don’t expect great customer service with people happy just because you turned up today to buy at their store. Great food selection divided into pizzas, burritos, sandwiches, fresh salads, vegetables, rice and meat dishes, etc. Good options for healthy and not-s-healthy eaters.

$ 8 a pound for lunch in a crate. at breakfast, the price is $ 7 per pound. food is pretty fresh, considering how it is sold. there are some seats at the rear and the place looks fairly clean, but not immaculate. you can also get bimimbap, pizza, salads to order and there is a pasta station.

While there are a few spots in this neighborhood that offer food-by-the-pound, Café CNN has a pretty clean and well-stocked store. There are lots of pre-packaged foods and beverage options galore. It’s also really easy to check out, as the lines move pretty fast. The people who work here are friendly, and they value your time.

While the salad bar is relatively good for a standard deli, the salad staff do not say«thank you», are short with customers, and look super pissed all the time. This is definitely a management issue and because of this I will not recommend this place to others. I’ve been there several times and refuse to return.

Former location of Bread & Butter, which honestly hasn’t changed too much. It even still has that mall food court-esque stench when you walk in, caused by the blending of scents of many different cuisines. It’s an average deli with average food and average prices – unless you start adding extras. Seriously, the best thing to do here is get a sandwich or salad à la carte, and grab a drink in the office(or pretty much anywhere else). Once you start adding extras like chips, drinks, yogurt, etc., your $ 6 salad turns into a $ 13+ meal for sadly average fare, and you are left wondering why you didn’t get a truly primo $ 14 – 15 sandwich at nearby Eataly or Blue Smoke instead. I realize this is NYC, and the cashiers want to get though the lines quickly, but I dislike how they move on to the next person before you’ve even taken your cash out of your wallet. I’m guessing they must have some sort of competition going for who can check out the most people… but all it succeeds in doing it making the customer feel like a product on a conveyor belt. The only reason to go here is convenience.

Before walking in, have the numbers of a good urologist and infectious disease specialist handy. Be sure they’re open for two hours after eating. Ingredients include Asian phlegm, Mideast dirt, and spoiled meat and vegetables. And, for chrissake, please stay close to a toilet over the next two hours — for environmental reasons.

This is a jack of all trades kind of establishment so if you are looking for variety, you can find it here. Traditional deli fare plus pizza, pasta, burritos and a shake bar are stuck next to a hot food bar and salad bar. To the other side there is a Korean BBQ and sushi station. Overall, the place is convenient, but the product is not reflective of the price. I would kill for a Whole Foods hot bar, but alas, for pretty much the same price if not a little bit more, you get a sub par less varietal product. The do have whole roasted fish sometimes and that is actually pretty good. The Korean BBQ is a Westernized version. The pizza is terrible. As in really really really gross. There is the smell of mildew in their dough. They need to clean that shit up. I have not tried much of anything else here besides the hot bar in a pinch after the pizza experience. Now that I’m more familiar with the area, I doubt I will be back unless absolutely necessary. For convenience and options though, I will give it 2-stars.

This place has went down hilldown since CNN took over. The cooks have an attitude and when you place an order they get it completely wrong. The buffet used to be good when bread and butter was there. Trust me there are other place better tasting then this dump

7.99 per pound buffet which includes pasta, noodles, macaroni & cheese, sasame chicken, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and so on. I only liked the mashed potato, broccoli, and pasta from the buffet. If it is your first time take a little bit of everything so in case you don’t like one food. They have bibimbap(korean style rice) counter which closes at 3:30pm which I wanted to try in the first place. I was there exactly 3:30 and they were closing and cleaning the bibimbap counter. They have sandwiches, salads, yogurt parfait, burrito, fruit salads, chicken noodle soups, clam chowder, and etc. This store is very close to New York Burger, Pax, and the #6 train.

Working in the Murray Hill /Flatiron part of town does offer many options for lunch, but as one who is trying to eat healthier lately it can become a daunting proposition to find low fat eats with some variety. I stepped into Café CNN and was quite satisfied with what they had to offer. It’s not that much different from many deli’s with buffets that you can find throughout the city, but there is a lot to this place. The first thing I noticed about the buffet was how clean and organized it looked. A decent enough variety to eat either high calorie or low-cal and healthy. Proteins, vegetables, fruits, etc. They had baked salmon that was nice and flaky — not overly cooked or under cooked and slimy. Along with fresh steamed vegetables on the side I had my lunch picked out. There is a clean dining area in the back and a small counter along the front window to sit and people watch. I might be coming here more often to eat this same lunch while in training mode. They also have a pizza station, udon/soba and ramen station, made to order salads, Asian station, stir fry foods, juice and smoothie station, deli area for hot and cold sandwiches /wraps, sushi station, and multiple coffees available. Pretty much a jack of all trades kind of spot along with most of the normal stuff you can find in a deli of this sort. Plus, the whole place looked clean and bright.
