Food was good. House wine was awful and expensive. We had the beet salad and the spaghetti. Both were excellent. But we will not return because we felt ripped off by the wine.

A pleasant and refreshing gem on the upper east side serving elevated Italian fare. Sincere, hard-working, knowledgeable management and staff. The menu is unique and authentic. While the space is small, it’s decorated beautifully, especially the hand-painted bathrooms. There are several competing Italian restaurants in this area, and Caffe dei Fiori is right up there with the best.

Just one sentence to describe how amazing this place is. I live in Los Angeles, and I just got flight ticket to NY just to visit this place. Service, food and atmosphere. everything can not be described in word.

Absolutely amazing! The waitstaff was courteous and helpful. The prices were reasonable. The food was innovative, delicious, and perfectly presented. Standouts were the Parmesan fondue appetizer, the bolognese, and branzino. Reservations are recommended because it’s a small restaurant.

Went to this place for an early dinner and decided to give it a chance based on web reviews. Boy o boy were we disappointed!!! We ordered a couple of salads, the octopus(dry as a bat), pasta(was okay) and we ordered the«special fish of the day»(was dry dry dry and tasteless) as well as veal but the inattentive waiter brought us the Suckling Pork dish instead of the veal. WTF? We were the only ones in the damn restaurant(we came for am early dinner), how difficult is it to actually write down what we wanted instead of trying to be an experienced waiter who can remember orders in his head. After the waiter realized that he brought us the wrong entrée, he «offered» to bring the veal instead but we didn’t want to create a scene and decided to keep the Suckling Pork which SUCKED!!! This place is a joke! For a restaurant which on the outside seems like it is actually worth visiting was a total sham! I would not go back to this place even if they paid me! Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else! This place deserves ZERO Stars!

We had a very good lunch here. We started with the soup special. Celery Root soup. Cream based — it was delicious. We shared the appetizer sized Tortellini Di Percorino. Very nicely flavored. We noticed a trend that the flavors were just right — never over done. Very subtle. We each hand a fish entrée. Me the Orata and my guest the Salmon. Great mix of flavors. We found out that the sauce on the salmon included Brussels sprouts — very unique. Lunch was well worth it and we would recommend this place. Service was more in the European mode in that they take their time.

Wonderful food and warm service. As long time 72s.(East side lingo for 72nd street) wife and I went here for brunch and it was a genuine pleasure. Some of the best olive oil I ever tasted and the pasta, particularly the Tag with ragu was the best I ever tasted. Unlike some of its questionable neighbors, there is zero pretension and attitude. If you’re looking for an intimate setting for excellent Italian, please seek it out. Fyi, great outdoor patio in the warm months.

Despite the long menu titles and enticing descriptions, the food is bland and uninspired. The Battuta di Manzo(beef tartare @$ 25) consisted of roughly cut bits of unseasoned beef with a small dab of sweet balsamic sauce that detracted from the flavor of the meat. The gnocchi with porcini mushrooms was fine, but the crispy suckling pig($ 39) consisted of four 1″ cubes of thin skinned pork with patches of sweet quince, altogether a pretentious and self-defeating take on what should be a succulent indulgence. While the atmosphere was refined and the service was attentive and friendly, it could not make up for a most disappointing and overpriced dining experience.

Just say no. For $ 22 you get a plate, some tomato sauce and almost 3 shrimp. Why bother serving food if you don’t want to feed people?

Delicious brunch! Had the eggs Florentine. So darn tasty. The staff is so accommodating and they are top notch. The thought of their authentic cappuccino makes me drool. Wish I could run over now and use it for an afternoon pick me up. The chef was really thoughtful and brought out 2 additional desserts for the table on the house. Really great experience. Would recommend!

I was beyond impressed with the great service provided by the staff. My cousins are out of towners so we decided last minute to do an early brunch and had a bunch of suitcases which they graciously held in the front for us so we can enjoy our meals… Food was delicious I had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon which was Devine and they brought us complimentary desserts along with the 2 we ordered which we were very gracious for. The wait staff is so on point and you can’t go wrong with their amazing Italian accents!

Some friends and I came across this restaurant this past Sunday. We can never decide where to go for brunch after church and I think that this might be our new place! It’s easy to pass by Caffee die Fiori because it looks like it could be a store front. The tables inside are spread out over three floors and allows for some privacy between tables which is nice. They sat our party of 7 on the top floor and we had the whole top area to ourselves. On the recommendation of the hostess, we ordered the sweet and savory bread basket which was awesome! It could have a had a few more savory options, but everything was very great! A friend and I shared the zucchini frittata and vegetable omelet. Both were very delicious! They had the perfect cheese to egg ratio and the«fluffy eggs» were really fluffy! The waiters and staff were SO attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be back! The only way that it could be better was if they had a prefix with brunch drinks!

The most delicious butternut squash soup ever! I shared a yummy pasta ragú — the chef split for us in the kitchen :-) And split a caprese salad which wasn’t even on the menu but my dining partner asked for one so the whole table followed suit Even the Brussel sprouts were delicious! Then zabaglione over fresh berries for dessert for my dining partners which I tasted. Fantastic!

LOVEDLOVEDLOVED everything about this restaurant. If I could give 6 stars I would. The layout, atmosphere, ambiance, outstanding TOP friendly service of the bar, server and host/manager, excellent wine /spirits and amazingly presented, fantastic, delicious food. They are celebrating their one year anniversary soon. I walked in a little late and the restaurant was not crowded so I was greeted warmly by 2 – 3 smiling Italian employees who had been chatting with and entertaining my friend while waiting for me — my Italian friend and the server spoke with each other in Italian occasionally throughout the meal which added to the authenticity and charm. I felt so welcomed /such a positive energy with the incredible, personable attentive service. Soon as I sat down the extremely friendly server suggested/asked if I would like to start with a pre dinner prosecco. It was lovely. Then had my now new favorite wine a Brunello– fabulous. When they seated a couple directly next to us and I asked if we could please move over one table for more privacy. I hate to seem difficult but I like my space; they very happily, immediately and efficiently switched the table to accommodate. It is truffle season now — they have a full menu of various truffle appetizers and entrees and when I was hesitant about getting a heavy pasta dish as an entrée my friend suggested we share one as an appetizer which they happily accommodated. They presented the truffles… The truffle scent mmmmm my favorite — then when our fantastically presented dishes thin pasta were served the server shaved the truffles atop the pasta tableside. Did I say I love love truffles? Ha I asked if I could take a photo and as I was trying to capture a still shot of the server shaving the truffles asked«can you slow down a little ?» Which amused the nearby staff and had us all cracking up. Everyone there was so genuine, happy and with great A+ personalities. The swordfish entrée was wonderful and so was the side of Brussel sprouts. Sambuca served with the 3 espresso beans in pretty flute /glasses and they gave a lovely after dinner cocktail with a small plate of Italian cookies. The atmosphere — which they happily gave first my friend then both of us a tour of – so pretty with fresh unique flowers on each table –which is a huge plus for me. The restaurant is clean, well lit and meticulous with interesting paintings … I love the interesting cozy layout which includes the main dining room area, a small quaint outside seating area, up a level of steps another small seating area with 3 – 4 tables then up a few more steps yet another small cozy seating area with a few more tables overlooking Lexington. Very highly recommend as a perfect restaurant for a romantic date or to dine with friends or family where the food is wonderful and with A+ service where they treat you like part of their restaurant family.

Our dinner was fantastic! The waiter made us special drinks that were just fab. Every from appetizer to dessert was delicious. I especially love the seats downstairs or by the garden. Btw, the gluten free pasta is just delicious.

An upscale restaurant without any of the snobbiness or highbrow attitude that you might expect if you show up wearing a t-shirt and shorts, which we did. The staff was beyond kind and respectable to us and all of the customers around us, going so far as to shut the doors and turn on the air conditioning when one woman mentioned that she was warm. There are a ton of places around that charge high end prices, slap white tablecloths on, and make fancy sounding food that does not produce a quality experience, but this place is not one of them. There are a ton of places that charge you the cost of the suit you’re wearing and give you two bites worth of food, but this place is not one of them. This place was delicious and fulfilling all around. The extensive wine selection makes it apparent that you must order a glass. The drink menu is practically a book and an entire wall is dedicated to storing and serving wines. They take even the simplest task of giving you a bowl of bread to the next level. A waiter came over with a selection of breads for us to try and was even helpful with recommendations. The food selection is quite extensive as well, which isn’t always the case at a place with such excellent food. And the food was excellent. I was introduced to new combinations of flavors in every dish we tried. The proximity to Central Park is also nice. We went from a nice stroll through the park to walking right over to the restaurant without skipping a beat. At the end of the meal we were surprised with cookies and chocolates on the house. A truly caring establishment that must win the heart of all of their customers.

I consider this to be the best food on the upper east side — this place is a hidden treasure. The food is served beautifully and there’s a nice courtyard in the back. Service is outstanding. The Italian waiters are authentically sweet and attentive. I had a good experience with Gabriele. It is also pretty easy to get reservations and the prices are reasonable.

Very good but expensive for what it was — get the proscuitto appetizer but skip on the salads
