I am SOOOO upset! PISSED really! As I was waiting for Sensei Erik to craft my always delicious iced vanilla latte with almond milk as I do on most weekday mornings, I learned the horrifying news that this location is CLOSING July 8th. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! They are moving to Union Square. WTFMAN! The staff is incredibly friendly(Andrew, Stephen, Erik, lead by Amanda). The drinks and baked goods are consistently fresh and yummy. And let’s be honest… where in this town can you get a quality large latte for $ 3(using a Cap One Card)? Why TF can’t they just open another location, why do you have to close ours!?! Grrrrrrr… Union Sq — you don’t know how lucky you are… and may you fail to learn so Cap One Café can come back to me! PLEEEEEAAAAAASE! Pretty please?

This is a very special place. Peet’s coffee is the best and it is a pleasure to drink it everyday. What really makes this place so great though is the people that work here. Amanda is a great manager, so is Stephen and I will be sorry to see him go. Erik, Andrew, Yani, Marshall, Geraldine, and the rest of the gang – you look forward to seeing them and they make the experience pleasant for so many people everyday. I hope whoever the regional manager is for Peet’s knows what a great crew they have. This is the Cheers of the coffee world, where everybody knows your name and they are always glad you came. Use your Capital One card and get half off your beverage – need I say more?

It would be have been a 5 stars if the wifi actually works… The environment is great for reading, working on computer or just hanging out. I have to say the coffee here is decent better taste than Starbucks in my opinion. However, the wifi is not working. I have to get on linknyc which is super slow. If I manage to find a sitting with plug on the first floor, I’ll connect to Starbucks wifi which is a little faster…

Alright. Love the drinks here but also the workers are the best! Shout out to the curly haired girl and the Spanish guy, Lionel???(So sorry, once I come back I’ll update this review with your names but ya’ll are the best!). Super awesome. Came in to open a 360 savings account(which why not, put some money away people!) and these two lovely people surprised me with complimentary drinks and more. Thank you, y’all made my day! Also made opening my new account more fun and explained everything too. Made coming here even more awesome then usual, and I already like coming here. My favorite bankkkk. Ahhhh.

I have been back to Peets several times now for my usual order of a large black coffee. I found out that Peets medium roast coffee changes sometimes on their daily brews so I usually ask for the name in case I find a favorite. However, I can’t even remember the names now but all the varieties that I have tried were simply excellent! :) Love their coffee as it smooth and rich without the acidity. Also, I love having Capital One Banking available for my banking needs and I get a discount on my coffee purchases. Woohoo to that! :) Bank crew is great as they are non-intimidating and don’t push you into signing up for services. Glad it doesn’t feel like a car dealership… LOL. As a repeat customer, they add to the atmosphere by being professional, friendly, and informative… oh yeah, fun too when they offer some games & prizes! Hahaha… Peets coffee is awesome, service is fast, and the environment is clean, comfortable, and chilled. Please open up more Peets locations! :)

Wifi isn’t the strongest but it gets its job done. Place itself is beautiful, all glass, bright and comfy two-floor seating. Very happy with this place! I’ll be back.

PEET’s! PEET’s! PEET’s! Its Peet’s Coffee! We take the subway each morning from our hotel to come and get our Peet’s coffee! We are from California and Peet’s are the way to go. Not sure why Starbucks are still around, their coffee is not even good. Peet’s need to have more locations everywhere! The staff were courteous and the place is neat and clean!

Staff very kind and reasonable prices. Nice space upstairs for working/studying. Only complaint is limited outlets and bathroom sometimes aren’t very clean.

They have delicious almond coffee. It’s pretty empty here because not many people know it is a coffee shop. You can get a lot of studying done here. I would come back again. I wasn’t able to go to the second floor because it was closed for a meeting.

Love this place. Friendly staff. Fast wifi. Coffee. Spacious area. Comfortable. Well ventilated and AC’ed. Why wouldn’t anyone like this place. Oh yea and it’s free! Damn son what now? I’m goin to keep writing since Unilocal insists that I make this review longer to actually be considered a review… Am I done yet?

It’s hard to find coffee fuss-free coffee spots in Manhattan and this is one of it! I went to this place with an intention of getting a capital One credit card and little did I know that I wud end up having both– a card and free coffee vouchers. The staff is super chilled and friendly which suits the casual atmosphere and they have some nice selections of bakery items! The coffee(Peete) is nicely roasted and they have ample seating space on both levels. What else do you need for a quick escape from work?

Decided to come here to get some work done after reading the reviews, and I’m glad I did! This café and workspace is truly an undiscovered gem, so it might not be as conducive to work here once more people start flocking here. There are plenty of outlets and different types of seating for your convenience. There’s also an upstairs area(which I like more). As for the drinks, they serve Peets here, which is great. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly. If you’re looking for a café with stable wifi to work in, this café is it.

Loads of space, a quiet upstairs without annoying tourists in line yelling, decent prices, and WIFI. Solid part of town too because there are plenty of errand running places nearby… this place is an all star for a spot to get work done at. I’d give this place five stars BUT you need to be a baller, independent, hipster joint to get that far. If Capital one is your angel investor… let’s be real.

This is by far the BEST place to do work ever. Wifi — check Coffee/Tea — check Plug points — check Crowds — non-existent I don’t have a capital one card, but I just might get one just because it gives 50% off to drinks here! Good on you capitalOne, other banks really need to follow by example.

I came here based on the positive Unilocal reviews, and I was not disappointed. They have a wide selection of pastries if you come in the morning, and the coffee is on point. Their first and second floors have ample seating + outlets, although the wifi is a bit spotty. Also, if you have a CapitalOne debit card, your drink is half off! Tl;dr — great café to do work

A nice bright place to work. The 2nd floor is very modern and clean — which is a little different from the vibe at some of the other coffee shops. I like it because of all the large windows and tables. Upstairs there are some couches and plastic chairs. There are plugs in certain areas, but not everywhere. This place never gets very crowded, which is great! The activity takes place on the first floor, where you order and pick up your coffee and food. I like this a lot because it’s less distracting if you’re trying to work. Yet you still have that background buzz that helps you with productivity. I had the Cold Brew which was decent. Also got a breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese, and spinach. It was warmed up for me. Decent($ 5). Of note, the A/C is pretty strong here so bring a jacket!

Cute coffee place affiliated with Capital One Bank. They have pastries and Peet’s coffee. Service is prompt and they have very ample seating upstairs. Close to my office and they have my Bank’s ATM. No nonsense coffee joint. I never mind coming here for my cuppa joe. In short worth a visit.

The place is very well designed, the upstairs is cozy and people are able to do work or just lounge around while overlooking the city streets. Coffee itself is eh, I got the Almond Latte, it didn’t taste very nice, it had some strange aftertaste.

I had missed out on a YEE event here so I was really looking forward to trying them out. This was totally not what I expected when I heard about the Capital One 360 Café(previously ING Café). The space is extremely roomy– they make great use of the 2 floor space. There is just enough seating, but it’s the farthest from being crowded. They offer free wifi and a super comfortable working/chilling out space. They also offer a 50% off drink discount if you pay with your Capital One card– so if you don’t have one, you’re missing out… The baristas were super friendly and made great recommendations. The coffee is so much better than what I had expected from a ‘bank café’(that’s a thing now, Capital One told me so). We had a dark roast black coffee and pumpkin latte(I can’t resist it, the hipster in me came out), and a muffin to share. The coffee was much stronger than we expected, but in a good way. The BF normally doesn’t care about my lattes but kept stealing sips of this one. The muffin was fruity and sweet, exactly what we needed to go with our drinks. We only had a few minutes to stop and hang out(on the comfy couch) before we had to be somewhere, but we’re definitely stopping here again when we’re in the area(with our Capital One cards).

Amazing coffee(they brew Peets here!!!), and the friendliest and nicest baristas(who are also bankers and can answer any banking questions you may have about their 360 savings and checking program)!! Love the atmosphere(it’s a great place to study/plug in laptop), and the coffee is fantastic — what more do you need? Their bathroom is also always reliable(and orange from their ING days)!
