Carline Dargenson

I did a Unilocal review on Carline way back when I met her in 2010. I needed a real hairstylist one who specialized in haircare. I Googled and found Carline at another salon.
What can I say? If you want haircare then make an appointment with Carline ASAP. If you want a hair salon… you know the salons with the super hot dryers, rollers, blowouts, glue, (yes, glue don’t act like you don’t know) basic inexpensive stuff then go there. When your hair falls out come back to this Unilocal review and make an appointment with Carline.

Carline takes great care of my hair! I am extremely low maintenance and she hears me when I say that I don’t want to have to do a whole lot to look good in the mornings.
I wear my hair natural and have multiple textures in my hair. She takes the time to cut according to my hair and enhance the curl pattern.

I have to agree with the other comments on this page. Carline is a great stylist, she is very knowledgeable about haircare and attending to her client’s needs. If you have 50 million questions (like I usually do), they will always get answered. She’s patient, not condescending and listens to her clients needs/​wants. I definitely recommend her – kind of — I mean, the more clients she has, the harder it will be for me to get an appointment! LOL.

I am not one of those people that writes deep meaningful reviews, honestly I only write reviews when I have an exceptional or really horrible experience. I figure others with a blogs or ability to write prose will say whatever I would like to say. That being said I had to write a review for Carline. She has been doing my hair for 2+ years. What I love about her is the following–
She grows my hair. She isn’t simply going through the motions.
She respects your time. If you make an appointment she doesn’t double book or triple book. Your appointment is for you to have your hair done not to sit in rotation (e.g. we are going to moisturize your hair and then dry it and then moisturize it again really?).
She’s nice and can chat you up or let you read a book. I like to talk to my hairdresser, but sometimes I just want to read a magazine. Some hairdressers can’t take a hint (hmm this article is really interesting…).
She’s good at her job. When I leave the salon I feel like I should be swinging my hair in a commercial. It’s healthy and shiny.

What I liked best about my hair experience with Carline was, of course how fab my hair looked when I walked out of the Salon. But, what I also liked was how professional she is; from the great communication about my hair to the scheduling of appointments. I was going for a huge transformation: from long & curly to short, straight & sassy. And, all I have to say is that I cannot stop looking at myself and I can’t stop playing with my hair. I am completely overjoyed with my new look & the fact that I finally found a hairstylist who is one in a million. And, did I mention that she has a great personality and vibe. Love my new haircut, love my new hairstylist. And, I promise you will love Carline and fall in love with yourself all over again after sitting in her chair.
