I can’t believe I didn’t check this place out earlier especially because I live across the street. Thank you Cassandra’s for coming to our neighborhood. From the moment we walked in we were quickly greeted and offered an nice table by the stage. The band that was playing was amazing and we even had a chance to hear some guest singers who were phenomenal. We had a few drinks, lovely service, the owner even came over to introduce herself. The décor is beautiful as well, red velvet seats, a nicely lit bar and the bathrooms were done very nice. The place is clean and a good size, I think I may have discovered my new neighborhood spot.

I discovered this neighborhood treasure while looking for another spot. Cassandra’s has an awesome ambience combined with pure straight ahead jazz. Cozy and classic jazz. A must when visiting Harlem. Nice drinks and grand piano complete the spot.

This place is amazing. Forget the big commercial jazz clubs. Swinging sound in the best Harlem tradition. Last night, in addition to the great Doctor Dwight Dickerson’s trio, Ron Carter dropped by to sit in during the first set. Later in the evening Joan Belgrave joined in on vocals. The spot is beautiful, the drinks strong, and Cassandra makes you feel right at home.
