disclaimer: i chose a Chase location at random, but i go ALL over …
Here’s the drill:
Go in, eyes down. Preferably on cell phone (fake it!) or with earphones in. Do not look up. Get in line for a teller — basically just in-​and-​out as fast as possible. If you let them capture you you’ll get a long «helpful» lecture as to why you need to move money into large-​cap funds, bond funds, emerging markets, municipal bonds, etc, or worse … CDs. And God help you if they think you’re not diversified «enough» — I think i left with 47 handouts. (the joke is I seem so non-​diversified because my MAIN bank is SCHWAB)
Customer Service is good, but it’s like cayenne pepper — do NOT overdo it.
Oh but definitely a 5-​star for the ‘Dum-​Dum’ lollipops they give out — just in case you forget where you are … there you go.

I’m really impressed by their customer service since the first step I walked into this branch on the second floor. I was first greeted by the host. And when I was waiting in line, she came over and thanked everyone for being patient when there were literally a few people in line. I was then greeted again by the teller. She made some small talk which was nice. I wish all the banks were all like this!
