Love the burgers, chicken and fries. So cheap and good. Been to this location several times and the staff is so nice. Usually late night with the rest of the drunks. Best fast food. Stop once you will be a regular!

It would be nice if they hosted tournaments for checkers players here, but this is basically your typical fast food place — maybe a little bit better. If you’re lucky, you might’ve been given a lot of coupons to use here. And people probably only know about this place or come because they have coupons. Just know that it’s one coupon per customer. I tried stacking a lot of coupons and unfortunately, I was told with an attitude that I cannot use more than one at a time. The wings that I bought were way overpriced and didn’t even taste good. I would not come back here again.

Normally I wouldn’t be compelled to write a review for a fast food joint, but this place has been wronged. Don’t skip this place just cause of a few disgruntled Unilocal reviews! If you do, you’d be missing out on a hidden fast food/​3 A. M drunchies Mecca. Forget $ 5/​slice Artichoke when you can get two bacon cheeseburgers for $ 6! Besides, at the end of the day, calories don’t count if you don’t remember eating.
Long story short, some of the best bang for your buck heart attack inducing food in the East Village

Checkers always delivers!
Haven’t seen Checkers before in Manhattan. So it was a nice surprise.
They are definitely better than McDonalds and almost at the same price.
If you need to grab something unhealthy really fast with a possibility that you will even enjoy it DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
They even have decent Wings.
