NEVER ORDERING HERE AGAIN! I ordered from seamless they didn’t send my order, I called and got a rude reply and they just insisted on giving me credit. I ordered one time and waited two hours I called and they said the guy delivered it an hour ago. I was like. To who?! It wasn’t me! How unprofessional he told me he would call me back to let me know what happened and he never did.

This place is a joke, they constantly mess my order up, take well over the delivery time and have the worst customer service. When you call to inquire about your order it always left and it will always be to you in 5 minutes, which is a lie! They really need to get it together and stop being so rude on the phone.

Mealpass APRIL 21, 2016 dished up a decent GRILLED CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD (and offered us some decent bagel chips upon arrival).

Delicious, chewy bagels. I rarely get them, so when I do I like to go all out on things I’d never order– salt bagel, untoasted, with butter. I believe the credit card minimum is $ 5, but a latte and bagel will put you just over the threshold if you don’t have cash. They have a huge selection of bagels as well as spread, so there’s bound to be something for everyone. Easily one of the better bagels I’ve had in Manhattan. They also have quite a bit of seating which isn’t exactly standard for a shop of this sort, so it’s a nice extra!

food was good have many good craft beers but the burger and cold slaw are very weak on portion for price so need to order appetizers first

Best bagels in NYC. Chewy, tasty and they toast it extra hard like I like it and slather it with butter as if being vegan was an after thought.

Terrible rolls! It’s like having a BLT between two pieces of pumice stone. Tasteless, the food is bland. Seriously find a new Baker because these rolls are drier than a 3000 year old mummy!

I love this place. I come all the time & get something different every time. The staff is nice, and the food is always good.

Good doughy thick fresh bagel, but $ 3 for a plain with cream cheese is pricey… Add a small coffee and $ 5 total. At least it’s a fresh bagel. But so it Cosi bagels and a few others.

the bagels are literally gigantic, they’re delicious, and they deliver. I was so happy to find such a great place near our office to order breakfast from. Also, awesome cream cheese flavors!

Love the bagels from here you should try Mr.Bagel. Its the best choice for ordering breakfast from outside

If I could give this place a negative star, I would. Let me start from the beginning. At 10 AM, I place an order for 6 bagels– over an hour later, the bagels finally arrive and they are missing two. I call and inform them and they say they will send the two missing bagels my way. We wait– 45 more minutes, and the bagels arrive– or rather one bagel arrives, the other bagel is not a bagel at all– it’s TOAST with cream cheese. (Who would order this?!?) I re-​check my order and the initial order is CLEARLY a whole wheat bagel. This is 2 and a half hours later, mind you and I still haven’t gotten my breakfast.
I call back and let them know that the bagel still isn’t right and I hear the guys on the other end saying «Tell her he left» when I ask for the manager. I say, «I can HEAR you!» and ask again to speak to the manager. «Oh, he left.»
Whatever, I still want my bagel. So I ask if they can deliver the new one to me and give me a refund. They say they can’t give me a full refund.
Cool, so after 2 and a hours I get a $ 4 refund. Oh, and my bagel just came and it’s cold.

I would give Chelsea Bagel 0 stars if possible. This is the second time my food was over 45 minutes late, cold, and I received the wrong order. I gave them a second chance to prove me wrong but again I received the wrong order and the management was so rude when I called to let them know; I was hung up on when I asked for a refund. NOBODY in my office will ever order from here again.

This will be a relatively short review compared to my others, since I didn’t order here myself. My gf had just returned from Indonesia and was super jet lagged, so she was awake an hour or so before I had to go to work. She took that time to order us breakfast from Chelsea Bagel & Café. Normally, I find bagels a waste of money since I don’t like carbs. However, this place was amazing. She ordered and Lox and Cream Cheese with capers and onions as well as a Tuna Melt with creamed cheese, avocados, and onions (maybe alfalfa too?). They were so good! The Lox was pretty standard, but the tuna blew my mind. Normally I hate tuna salad type dishes, but this one didn’t have that nasty fishy taste and managed to make a solid combination with the cheese. I’d want to check them out again!

I read the reviews and I can see the potential this place has for earning 4 stars. My review is based on one visit, so take from that what you may. I ordered a caprese panini. Expecting a crisp delicious sandwich, got instead a soggy tasteless heap of something. The customer service I received wasnt great. I was standing at the ordering counter at a non-​busy time and was ignored. When I went to pay I was treated rudely by the employee at the register. I will not be returning.

Last time I give this place my money! They never get anything right and they never deliver the drinks u order. It’s Sunday, we ordered 2 orange juices and we got no orange juices delivered and we payed for it.

I work close by and literally just go there when I am in the mood for something quick to eat. I order the same thing almost every time-​egg whites with cheddar cheese and spinach on a wheat wrap. To sum it up, they can never get it right! They are either missing the spinach or including the yolk. The worst of all is that they charge me a different price every-​single-​time. When I asked about it, no one has an answer.

Ive been frequenting this place for so long that it needs an update. I can call up and they can pretty much guess what Im about to order depending on how I start the order. They are consistently efficient and so much so that sometimes you’ll have a hard time getting through on the phone.
Strongly recommend their pasta, salads and anything involving a bagel — especially the lox with cream cheese. They have an assortment of cream cheese from light, to non fat, to strawberry. Just go.
There are several seats available but be Warned: no bathrooms!

Solid option for a sammy in the area. Tried the turkey club with pepper turkey. Damned fine bacon and turkey, quality hoagie, good construction, nice slaw, good balance of the other innards, decent selection of beverages in the cases. Nice, spacious shop, nice staff, Generous portions.
Can’t give a full 4-​star review as the pricing for a turkey club hoagie is kind of high for the area, even when using Boar’s Head products. But I’ll still be back!

The workers are so fast and efficient at this place. Ingredients are so fresh and delicious. Our #‘1 breakfast of choice on the weekend we come all the way across town just to have our omelette and egg and cheese bagel faves. What makes this place so great are its employees. So friendly, professional, and they work their asses off!
