Chicky’s

I only got the half chicken with sweet potato side, sweet potatoes or mashed and not particularly good but the chicken was always waste. Never had a problem with quality or pricing but I really don’t think this place is worth a special trip

$ 13 bucks for just two tiny pieces of chicken and a coke and fries. I find it overpriced for what it was and chicken was dry. The only good part was the fries and I could’ve gotten for 3 buck at McDonald’s.

Their gyros are so good. Never had anything else besides chicken and lamb gyro and French fries. We always get extra taziki sauce and they are generous with it.

Ordered delivery too many times but can’t help myself. Always to my door hot and tasty!

Was NOT impressed with my delivery, even though, when I visit in person, I get everything I should. My delivery was missing a side, and when I called, I was told I was incorrect, I had all my sides. Actually, no… I know what mash potatoes look like and I don’t have them. Either way, I only visit if I need something super quick. Other than, Chicky’s is never something I want to experience for lunch, and try to avoid ordering from them.

First time walking in here today and I thought I walked into your typical «B» grade kind of Chinese restaurant. You can tell the owner could care less about the restaurant’s ambiance so what does that mean? He probably also doesn’t care about the food quality that’s being served. I ordered the shell steak (medium well) and I might as well ordered charred, dry steak because that’s what it tasted like. I couldn’t even savor the taste and was just hoping to eat it down as soon as possible just so I could have my stomach filled. On top of that, they didn’t even serve no steak sauce with it! The workers look and act ghetto and disgruntled as if they hate living in their housing projects. Won’t be coming back here for sure. If you want something 100x better, I would suggest you check out «Chirping Chicken».

I just ordered delivery from here, and it was perhaps the worst food I’ve ever received. The mashed potatoes are 100% instant. The Mac and cheese was frozen stouffers that was thawed, packed into a container and served soggy. What kind of respectable «restaurant» serves instant food?
Save yourself some money and go to the grocery aisle in the food store. It’s the same stuff you’ll get at Chicky’s.

Had the rotisserie drumstick last night and the meat was very dry. The drumstick bone was beginning to fall apart and looked as if it was cooked too long.

me and my co-​workers often order the ribs or chicken. They are the best. we tend to order at least once a week. but the sides I don’t care for. if the could make the side more authentic for example the mac n cheese should be baked. I’d order it with my ribs. I love the pita bread. They will continue to get my business.

I order lunch from Chicky frequently. I just love their ribs. It is done really well and tastes delicious.
They deliver and you get it the food quickly. They need to work on their sides. The Cole slaw is not very good. The ribs and fried chicken makes it worthwhile to order from them.

Decent roast chicken place. The best deal is the whole chicken with 2 sides and 2 pitas, which is close to $ 22.00. I found the skin very tasty, but the white meat inside was a bit dry. The food here reminds me a lot of Chirping Chicken, which you find around Manhattan. The sides we chose were the mac n cheese and roasted potatoes. Those were both pretty bland tasting. I have been spoiled by Latin American roast chicken which is a lot juicier and falls off the bone.

Decided to give this place a try for delivery since the beau and I were craving BBQ.
Food is just OK. But they’re getting two stars because we just spent $ 14 on the chicken pot pie that I am convinced was pre-​purchased at C-​Town for $ 2.99. The side of sweet potatoes is 2x bigger than the entrée. Rip off.

Looks gross from the outside. Looks even worse when you go in. But I thought, hey I’ve been to a lot of dive joints with good food so I won’t judge on décor… bad move. Chicken is disgusting. Dry, overcooked, and greasy as all hell. Just get rotisserie from Fairway one block over. Cheaper and a thousand times better.

I guess I got this place on a bad day. I walked in and was greeted but the cashier was rude and very unfriendly. I got my food super quuck though.
I ordered a whole chicken and upon opening my box there was a whole chicken but it was a pretty wimpy chicken. It was pretty flavorless as well so no bueno. Tbh ill go to chirpin chicken or even the fairway I may give it one more chance since it wasn’t too expensive but all I have to say is meh.

Zero stars if possible. They messed up my order and refused to return my money. I definitely will not miss ordering from incompetent employees and eating mediocre food. I will NEVER eat from there again.

I just moved to the area and was excited to try this place after reading the reviews. However, I always check the sanitary inspection grade and I was appalled when I read the violations for Chicky’s. Live mice, rats, AND roaches present. I’ve never seen all that in one restaurant.
The food may be good, but if you’re like me and care about the Sanitary Inspection Grade– stay away!

Had a very nice grilled chicken ceasar salad, for a very nice price. Simple chicken, cheap prices. Not much more to be said, but not much more needs to be said.

Good clean eats, if you order food here this way. I’ve loved this place for years and i’m sorry Chicky’s that I’m just now telling the city about you!
Grilled chicken white or dark meals, includes ½ a chicken, plus a side and a soda. You can get a whole chicken here and a whole mess of sides, but if you’re watching your caloric intake, maybe you don’t need that much.
I love the sweet potatoes and mac and cheese, but when i’m feeling like being ‘good’ and eating clean, I opt for the broccoli. Your trainer won’t say that you weren’t trying to make smart eating decisions if you come to Chicky’s — good grilled chicken meal here for the right price!

I just ate a whole chicken, and boy am I stuffed! But it was so good I feel no guilt! I must have walked by this place a million times and never even thought to try it out. Worked late this evening and was starving and needed a quick meal. So Chicky’s was going to feel my hunger wrath.
There are a bunch of meal options to choose from but my eyes went straight to the Family Meal #1 — a whole charcoal broiled chicken, two sides, and two pitas. I chose corn on the cob and mashed sweet potatoes. Wow! When I was handed the bag I realized this was a monster sized meal. Walking home I could tell this was a lot of food as the bag felt like a ten pound dumbell. Feast time for sure!
They cut up the chicken in quarters so it is easier to navigate. Each piece was moist and had good flavor. The corn on the cob was huge, and the sweet potatoes tasted like I was eating a sweet hot dessert. The pitas are grilled and have a toasty bottom to them. Just a ridiculous amount of food for $ 16.99. Protein and carb overload!
There are a lot of meal options, pita sandwiches, gyros, sides, and more on their menu. Good place for low cost lunch or dinner. Plus, order on-​line and get a 15% discount on your first time!
Basically, this is a take-​out or delivery joint. There are some tables and chairs but it is kind of a dingy décor. Also, some people might not deal well with the broiled chickens hanging in the front window. I don’t care as all I see is lunch and dinner!

$ 19.75 for two large dinners full of deliciousness delivered piping hot to my door within minutes? Yes please.
I have ordered from here twice now and both times I was an extremely happy camper. The delivery is always fast, and I mean FAST. Order and it shows up still hot moments later, it’s pretty incredible.
The food is really good too, soft pitas filled with lamb, chicken, whatever you want. They make a mean tzatziki sauce as well, and were happy to throw extra in the bag for us, as well as some extra pita bread. I have ordered a gyro and the chicken with rice and gravy. The chicken is a little dry, but the rice is very flavorful and I think it’s definitely worth a try.
Good place for inexpensive and hearty dinner.
I’ve walked by it to and from the subway all the time, and honestly it doesn’t look very appetizing. The place looks a little dingy and I don’t like all the crazy meat being grilled up in the front window. Don’t let this weird set up fool you, their food is tasty and a place I will order from again and again in the future.
