If you’re looking for a borderline-edible salad under $ 10 with about the same level of quality as a street meat cart, then this is the place to go. But if you want quality, you’re better off spending $ 15 at Chop’t. I guess you get what you pay for. Found a long hair in my salad within the first three bites. I ordered edamame: got artichoke hearts instead. Ordered red onions, got fried onions instead. «Crumbled» egg was more like an egg cut in three pieces. «Sliced» apples were the same enormous chunks. «Fresh» corn was brown & pretty gross-looking. The side piece of bread was totally stale. I’m not impressed.

Had a great experience at this place… until days later when I checked my credit card statement. I signed my $ 9 bill with a $ 1 tip for a total of $ 10. It showed up as $ 14 on my statement. I guess the bartender decided to give herself a $ 5 tip on the one drink that I got! DONOTUSE A CREDITCARDHERE! Will never return.

What a surprise find in Penn Station! Had an egg and cheese on a roll: perfectly prepared and the roll was FRESH! I will definitely be back here!

I don’t write a lot of reviews but this café earned it, I just had to. This place is actually really amazing which is why I’ve been coming here a lot lately. From the food to the ambiance of the place. Def recommend this to anyone who needs a quick meal or needs to relax while enjoying their meal. The included bar, Red Mango, and huge flat screen TVs(usually sports) make the place even better. Not to mention the floors and tables are always in tip top condition. Give this place a shot guys!

This bar is literally tucked in a tiny corner right before you reach the stairs to exit NY Penn Station near the 7th Avenue Exit. I noticed the big sign that said happy hour 4 – 7 and when I peeked in, it didn’t seem like a bar. I had to do a double take and then a triple take. It has a long buffet on the left hand side and the bar is on the right. All of the seats at the bar were full so we sat in the center on high top table. The buffet had different types of health foods almost like a salad bar. Most of the drinks are $ 5 for Happy Hour which is a good price. Its definitely a nice little spot to grab a few drinks before an evening on the town. I will absolutely go back!

As you get on the escalators to leave Penn Station, this place has a distinctive smell as you pass by Got the South of the Border breakfast wrap. $ 5.50 gets you a 3 egg wrap(.50c/extra egg) with all the fixings– Pepper-jack cheese, jalapenos, spicy sausage. Eggs were cooked perfect. Make sure to get some ketchup or hot sauce on it. Great size and taste. The line moved pretty fast so didn’t have to wait long. Also this place houses a Red Mango so the smoothies are really good, tons of flavor. Apparently instead of sugar they use stevia which is awesome. I think the 16oz(regular size) was around $ 5 No minimum on credit cards.

This place tried to rip off this customer one too many times. I was a regular at chop n toss but was charged different prices for the same egg sandwich depending on who was behing the counter. But their false pricing and bad attititude is what caused this poor review. A ham, egg and cheese is listed as $ 3.75 with a small coffee for .30 cents more. Notice another reviewer states that the special is $ 3.75 as well. Then suddenly I’m repeatedly being charged close to $ 6.00, with my MSG discount! After being a regular here I got a little fed up and pointed out the oversight to the not so nice person behind the register and to the owner. They both started pointing to completely different prices on the board clearly avoiding the special of $ 3.75 with a .30 small coffee. The owner would not relent and so I handed back my egg sandwich and won’t go back. Dont be ripped off. I now go to Don Pepi Deli, 30 seconds away, and pay half the price for a great sandwich, across the board. And the service behind the register is much better and consistent.

Now they serve Korean food from KuKu Canteen! Finally, a good food option in Penn Station.

Finally– a small«food court» of sorts in Penn Station that joins together a Red Mango, full-service deli, convenience store items, and full bar that doesn’t look or feel shady during the process!(I’m talking to you, strange Taco Bell-Dunkin Donuts-KFC– Pizza Hut in the LIRR wing!) We came in for a quick bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and were pleasantly surprised that the $ 3.75 price came with a small coffee bundled in. Unfortunately, they don’t extend that combo deal to their breakfast burritos, wraps or omelettes, but we were both satisfied with the egg sandwich just the way it was. The roll was fresh, eggs fluffy, and bacon crisp, with a nice slab of cheddar(my request) keeping it all together! You can upgrade your coffee to medium or large for an additional $.30 or $.60, respectively. On the lunch front, you can build your own sandwich starting at $ 8, but their house specials will net you more goods for less money, so I’d recommend going the latter route. The connected bar has good happy hour specials, but I’m not sure what’s stopping you from buying a bottled beer off their nearby shelf and just walking five feet over to crack it open :) From the glass guards to the salad bar topping, even to the floors, everything was meticulously clean and well-presented. I’d definitely recommend Chop & Toss to those looking for a good bite or place to relax for a few during their commute.

Perfect place to have some drinks if you’re unlucky enough to be in Penn Station for more than ten minutes. $ 5 happy hour Stellas and wonderful bartenders like Solanyi, Lindsey and Anthony! I’m giving an extra star just because they make Penn Station bearable.
