Customer service department «The CL Team» responded to my original review and they are eager to know what I experienced at the store, so here you go:
— The doorman is nice.
–The minute I passed the doorman, a white sales lady (dressed like LI, NJ white trash) and a black sales lady (dressed like a casher at H&M, was she wearing flipflop?) looked at me and said nothing (no hello, how can I help you) and kept talking between them. No customer besides me in the store.
— After browsing for about five minutes, still no communication from those ladies. Still no customer besides me in the store.
— I walked up to the counter and asked about a certain pair of shoes that I liked to try in 37.5 and 38, the black sales lady came back with 38. While trying 38, I asked her about 37.5 again, she said she will check. She went straight back to chatting with the white sales lady. I never got any response if they have 37.5 or not. I gave up and left the store.
I am not one of those customers who browse and buy nothing. I own several pairs of CL shoes that I adore, most of which come from Bergdorf and Barneys and CL UES. The department stores and CL UES do not have the certain pair of shoes I was looking for, the only location that carries it was here.
By the way the customer service staff at CL UES is top notch with nice attitude and proper attire.

All I can say is WOW. Michael is so amazing at this store. I was in town a couple of weeks ago on business and I had to stop into the Louboutin store. I love the brand, but I live in San Francisco where is it very difficult to find these beautiful shoes in my size (42). The store was very busy when I arrive, but soon it cleared out. Michael helped me and pulled out every shoe they had (which they pretty much had every style) in my size. By the way, Michael is pretty high up on the chain at CL, but you would never know it — he was THE best — just kind, courteous, funny, and cool. I couldn’t believe the selection and the service! I left with 4 pairs of shoes, and some pretty nail polish (did I mention I heart Michael?). They also added me to their awesome email list, and unlike the SF store, they ACTUALLY reach out when new styles are received, AND they respond to email. I will be a forever customer of this store. See you all next time!

This is a beautiful store located in MPD. I recently stopped by with a friend to pick out some new shoes. The service here is top notch. The only draw back is that the selection here isn’t as varied as their uptown location. Although service is great and friendly, I wish there was a little more space for more options to shop through.

I don’t need to get into the products because those red soles are always sexy.
Service-​wide, I have always been a fan of this place. They always happen to have the best looking male SAs and the SAs are always helpful and attentive.
I mean, it doesn’t hurt to have a pretty person to sell you pretty shoes that cost more than your rent.

As I walked up to the somewhat hidden Christian Louboutin store, I felt nothing but excitement. My boyfriend & I had recently started our trip & wanted to get one of my only goals of the trip done; buy a pair of Louboutins. We walked in the door and were immediately ignored. No one greeted us & absolutely no one out of the 4 or 5 person staff even acted like we existed. As we browsed in the store, other people came & went & were greeted & asked if they needed anything. Finally after about 10 – 15 minutes of standing waiting for someone to see the helpless look on my face, a man came up and asked if I needed a size. He brought the shoe out & acted absolutely disgusted as I put my dream shoes on my feet. I ended up walking out with a pair, but I wasn’t happy at all with the service. I recommend going to Barney’s where they actually stop to help you, even if there are 15 other customers yelling out for help.

Very pretty store and very helpful staff ! The store isn’t very noticeable but once you realize what’s behind the glass it’s a must go in the store reminds me of a red velvet cake white on the outside and red on the inside very pretty !

Happy with the place because they actually had the shoes I wanted in the size and color I’ve been on the hunt for and they open on Sunday’s! As far as customer service the girl was nice enough to wrap up both pairs that we purchased. As far as everyone else, no one looked happy to be there, atmosphere wasn’t very welcoming. But a plus that you won’t really get at saks or other department stores is at the time that I went, (mid January) they had a back wall full of sale shoes, and what girl isn’t happy with a shoe sale!

So, I was treating myself to pair of Christian Louboutin shoes for my birthday. Wanting a personal service as these were going to be my first pair. I went into this small boutique that was near work. I was appalled by the service. No-​one said hello. No-​one asked me if they could help. No-​one said a word! Apart from they looked at me a couple of times. Yes, I was in my work clothes and yes, I might not have looked like I was rich to buy a pair of your shoes but judging me was wrong. I will never visit this store again. Your service and attitude doesn’t deserve my money!

If I could give zero stars I would! The WORST customer service ever!!! They treat you like you are garbage! I don’t understand how a store like this has such rude employees! If you want to buy a pair of Louboutin go to the store in Madison Avenue

I would come here if you are already browsing in the area or have called ahead to make sure that this location already has what you want, but this store is not enough for a special trip.
In addition, if you’re looking for a CL store on Google Maps, please note that there is another CL just for men’s a few blocks away. Don’t get them mixed up and go to the wrong one! This is the women’s store.
Okay, on to the more substantive points. The store is very very small. I would guess it is not more than 1000 sq feet tops. The store also only showcases the more outrageous styles so if you’re looking for a more basic pair, the store may have them, but they will not be on display. Thus, you will have to call ahead to confirm. If you are looking for a broader selection, visit Saks instead. They have a much more extensive collection (in fact, the largest in the city) and the styles are more spread out and cogently organized.
If however, you have found the shoe that you want, you will have a good experience. The service is solid, you get free gel insoles with your purchase, and come with friends, because there are some pretty comfortable couches.

Beautiful store, bigger than the UES location, and SO MUCH NICER! I went in to see if a pair of pumps my husband got me were the correct size and Nichole was so sweet in helping and confirming that the shoe was perfect! Thank you Nichole!

I went to this store today to pick up a pair of pumps that I had on hold! I went with my 2 best friends, and I walked in straight to the counter. I told the guy at the register that I have shoes on hold and he was a bit reluctant to help… What the fuck?! I came to buy $ 900 dollar shoes and you’re going to respond like that? Ok, whatever~ he brought out my shoes and when I told him that I would purchase the shoes, he then starts a friendly dialogue with me. I purchased the shoes within 5 minutes, and when I left the store, my friend was really pissed. She noticed that the doorman opened the door for two white girls while he didn’t for us! She told me to never come to this location again! Come on, if I’m paying this much for shoes, I expect the same treatment! I bet those girls didn’t buy shit!

Yes, please and thank you. They go a long way and I’m happy to say that the staff is super helpful here while they patiently watch you prance around this tiny Horatio boutique deciding which one (or two, or three) sets of shoes you are looking to purchase. Nichole is a delight and even offered a much needed glass of water to hydrate during an afternoon of arduous shoe selection. I won’t delay in returning!

FRIENDLY FYI: i bought a pair of shoes and a handbag from the madison store. The sales lady stretched them for me to «take off the bite» at the register another lady said you have ten days to exchange if you need to (no refunds) i was totally fine with that.
I tried them on when i got home and they seemed to not fit the same as when i was in the store. I was thinking it was because i had walked home (nyc streets) and maybe my feet had swelled up.
The next morning i tried them on again and they seemed even smaller. I am not one to wear shoes that hurt and «wait» for the them to feel better so i decided to exchange them for something else. The next day i took them to the Horatio st location to see if maybe they had a different selection in my size. I told them the story (above) as to how i obtained the shoes. you could tell i had never worn them and there was NO damage bc i had JUST purchased the shoes two days prior.
The guy said «bc the madison ave sales lady stretched them i could not exchange bc they are considered damaged» HUH? that wasn’t even my idea it was hers and the woman at checkout said i had ten days if i decided they did work out. AND he had an attitude about it. VERY rude. I actually wanted to buy another pair that i saw that was not at the upper east side store but the service was so rude and disrespectful that i did NOT!
I definitely was not taking that excuse and in the end the manager said to make an exchange. I was very nice the whole time and had my receipt as well.
Lesson: do not let them stretch your shoes. The service at the downtown store is horrible

So, funny story, I’ve never actually visited the brick and mortar location of this Boutique but I have had the pleasure of being helped by Bessie on a number of occasions.
I started wearing Christian Louboutins about 5 – 6 years ago. I had initially developed a raging obsession for purses that later turned into shoes. After about a year of obsession or so I had developed a great relationship with a SA at my local Neimans (Troy, MI). Shortly afterward, I moved to Texas and somehow Christian Louboutin heels became much more mainstream.
The great thing about this store is that you can do charge-​sends. I’ve had quite a number of shoes sent to me in both Austin and Houston and the Sales Associates are always cheerful. Bessie in particular was wonderful and helped me in my search for limited edition and hard to find styles.
I’m the kind of person who prefers to purchase items that are limited release and since the two New York boutiques are the ones that usually receive said items, I find myself calling them up whenever something catches my eye. I just don’t like seeing another girl wearing the same shoes. Thanks to the wonderful SAs here (Bessie in particular), my collection has steadily grown to overwhelm my closet.
Christian Louboutin heels are beautiful. Each of my many pairs is like a work of art and no two pairs in my collection are truly identical (I have a few pairs that are style duplicates but different colorways). Even though there are only certain pairs that I’ve designated as appropriate (read comfortable) for daily wear, I still feel amazing and gorgeous in every one of my pairs. In reality every woman should own at least one pair of Christian Louboutin heels. I love all of mine, from the simple black kid leather classics to the astounding limited edition Swarovski strassed pairs I have saved for special occasions (my strass future wedding shoes were signed by Monsieur himself!). Oh, so many beautiful shoes, so little time.

For those of you who live in NYC, you know what a crummy winter we’ve been having so far. polar vortex and all. The day I walked into this luxurious shoe boutique, I was wearing soaking rain boots & looked all sorts of disheveled.
That being said, every single person working here treated me like a princess… even the security guard! Nichole was so helpful, patient and listened to my needs (I have a bit of a sizing issue)… a handsome, well dressed & sweet gentleman (wish I got his name) brought out my new beautiful pair of nude pumps.
The warm service that I received really lived up to the name of Christian Louboutin, he’d be proud of the top notch team here at the Horatio location!

I love this place, I was in shoe heaven. Everyone that works there was super nice and helpful.

Window shopping is about as far as I can get with Christian Lou’s — but my 8 year old is a whole ‘notha story. She adores this shop — windows and INSIDE.
A mini fashionista in the making. The staff were very kind to us and fawned over her and even let her try a few pairs on — EVEN when it was clearly apparant that nothing was going to be purchased. For this I am so thankful.
She BETTER be gettin’ a job the minute she is legally allowed to, b/​c mama can’t afford these shoes!!!
Oh — and a chiropractor on speed dial.
