After searching a number of stores and seeing the same designs repeated, I was taken by the jewelry here because each piece was something I hadn’t seen before. I bought beautiful opal stud earrings that have a thin gold cuff around the ear for an updated look. Difficult to describe but trust me – they’re gorgeous! always loved opal but felt like some opal designs look too dated. These are perfect.
The man working there (who seemed like the owner) was so knowledgeable and patient because I had such a hard time deciding between all of their beautiful studs. He helped me make a decision without being pushy — he even offered to ship them to me if I wanted to think about it and call later.
I’ve already decided that I’m going to return in the near future for one of their lariats. Oh my, the lariats were stunning.

OMG love this store. So cute, quirky and creative. Great selection! Mix of items and prices. My husband got me two great pairs of earring here, but they weren’t exactly my taste (good effort, tho, sweetie!). So I came here to exchange them and found an awesome bracelet. Couldn’t be happier with it or my experience. Definitely stop by if you’re in the hood.

What a fantastic store! They have amazing handmade pieces from all over ranging from gold and precious stones to intricate beaded jewlery. Every piece is a little work of art. The staff is friendly and helpful and truly loves what they do. I will defintiely be heading back here soon.

Christopher 19 is an amazing jewelry store that has some of the most unique pieces in NYC. The staff is not only friendly, but helpful and welcoming! The carefully curated store has something for everyone, from bags, fine art, to jewelry! I truly enjoyed the experience and picked up a piece myself. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend this store !

I wish there was a sixth star because Christopher 19 truly deserves it. I live in the neighborhood and always find myself stopping in, either just to browse or when I need something to complete an outfit. I love accessories — be it earrings, bracelets, pins, rings… and this is true heaven for an acccessory-​aholic like myself. (Note that the earrings in my pic are from Christopher 19). The pieces are truly unique, and there is literally something for everyone, as there is a wide variety of price points, styles, and designers. Perhaps what makes the shop so amazing (& six star worthy) are the knowledgeable, friendly and nice owners.

I went to Christopher 19 today for the first time on a weekend trip to NYC. I was walking by and like the first reviewer, drawn in by the windows. I have to agree that the prices range from completely reasonable to moderately expensive, with plenty of the former. I noticed a small selection of bags and tons of beautiful, unique jewelry from designers like Melissa Joy Manning and the owner, who makes striking matte and polished hoop earrings among other things. They offer a range of styles, from chunky ethnic looks to delicate wire work. A long beaded necklace with wood and semi-​precious stones was a mere $ 85, while some of the pricier karat gold pieces were as high as $ 600 — still very reasonable given the price of gold and the hand-​craftsmanship. I highly recommend this place for unique pieces and memorable gifts. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable and didn’t put on the pressure, so of course I bought something! Check it out…

I had always walked pass this place when it was closed – but would literally drool at the windows when i went by. i finally visited this weekend was able to flip some price tags over to see if any of this stuff was attainable. to my surprise – some of the cutest stuff in the store (these colorful vintage beads on some architectural fixings) were around $ 40. There is literally something for everyone — -lots of nice and unique and mild gold, silver, semi precious options. They do have edgier, bigger, and stranger as well – and most of the stuff is just eye candy running around $ 160. But nice people who work there – and an adorable terrier!
